When I joined I got no e mail to say thank you for being a knew customer. Welcome. I had to phone up a second time to make sure the ins had gone through. As you collected the funds on Sunday 11th November and end of. Poor customer service on your part

Been with 1st previously, rejoined this year and they have requested multiple documents of proof of myself an other driver on policy! Having sent them in already they send an email requesting again. Being a previous customer I should already be on the system, such an inconvenience as I have done as requested but still requesting all Again.

This company is hard to get hold off, when I tried to add someone to my policy they couldn’t and it never got resolved, When my renewal came though it was £200 move expensive than the year before when I asked them to look and see what they could do all they offered was £25 off even though I went online and got the same quote with you as a new customer and it was £240 lest then my renewal. And the customer adviser I spoke to was very rude telling me I was getting confused with my figures !!! Rude

I sent off an email regarding my no claims bonus. I got a reply saying it wasn’t valid and that was it. I had no further instructions. I replied asking them what I should do on two occasions now and I am still waiting for them to get in touch.

i took out a new insurance policy with your company on the19/06/2018 i still have not received any documents like an insurance certificate. i have sent two messages to you with no response. could you please sort out this problem quick or refund my payment total £351.38. policy no.FPM600556893FC-SKZ7918. The customer service is very bad the person who was talking to me was rude and taking the mec out of my accent. But otherwise I like 1st central it’s fast to insure a car.

Got a decent quote. Paid deposit. 3 days later an email requesting Copy of log book all pages? Copy of license. Proof of Home Address. Statement showing original credit/debit payment of deposit paid to 1st central? Proof of Home address. Been driving 30 years never ever had to send this information. A headache to say the least. If not paid deposit would cancel ASAP and stay with Direct line for a few pounds more.

This is the 3rd year running that I have insurance with you for my car. Every single year my premium goes up 200% on renewal (having claimed nothing during the year). I cancel the renewal and REAPPLY with you via a comparison website and I pay half of my renewal price... my loyalty gets rewarded with a 200% price hike... I really like you people and you always come on top as the best service but PLEASE could you try not to increase the price for me (and others I suppose) at renewal time? I want to stay with you but it is a hassle to cancel every year and redo the insurance... I think this is a really stupid and weird way of customer retention... don't you think?

I have been a good customer of yours for 2 years, I changed my car. I called you to let you know that I had and you were going to charge me over £500 to change the policy. I had checked online and my insurance was going to be £94 pm as a new customer but If i was going to be continue my policy it would be £145 pm. I explained to the agent and he said you can’t price match. It’s your company that was offering me the lower price. So I cancelled my insurance paying £87 instead of staying and paying over£500 it was very annoying.

When I got the insurance I was informed to check it which I did but it was wrong so I phoned up to inform you but You couldn’t do anything until it starts on the 30th of this month and then you have to cancel it and redo it again Not happy

Been with this company 3 years I have 2 policies with them been on hold to claims line for 45 minutes and counting very poor service

Inconsistency between advise from various members of staff Paid more than was quoted Only took policy as was in car showroom and had little choice in the end.

Not having the documents in paper as an option, charging £15 for changes even made online, £50 admin charge for cancellation of policy when it did not even started.

I received the worst customer service I have ever had when I was stuck understanding various bits of information I had been sent from 1st Central. Felt like having stayed loyal with the company for a few years now, meant absolutely nothing to the staff I spoke to. I was passed from pillar to post and left to try comprehend everything myself, nobody had any interest in trying to help. Very disappointed and will look else where once this policy is up.

I tried to pay for a quote online, there was an issue with the website and the payment wouldn't go through. After waiting on the phone for someone to answer for an unacceptable amount of time I was told I couldn't pay for the quote I had online at £413 it had increased to £470. I wasn't happy with this increase, I went back online and found the quote again for £413. I was then able to pay for this online. Why could the caller not honour this amount without me wasting a whole afternoon trying t sort the insurance out. I wasn't happy with the service at all. I definitely won't be recommending you.

Good cost cover but the advisor was difficult to understand, used lots of jargon and went over everything at 100mph. She was more interested in getting me off the phone than talking to me.

A change from on-street parking to a secure parking space recorded on-line meant an increase in my premium and a £15.00 administration fee. I had expected a reduction in my premium and not to have to pay a fee to do this. I will not renew my policy next year.
