Website is terrible. It crashed every time I clicked on to a date field (using Chrome on Windows 10). Had to remember to tab into the date fields to get them to work. Then at the end of the process is crashed again for no reason at all! I went to comparison site and purchased through them in the end. Would give 1 star but I didn’t get a pretty good price for my car insurance.

I bought my insurance policy 6/1/21 at approx 7.00pm, i realised the next day 7/1/21 that i put the wrong date to start the policy in (15/1/21) instead of 13/1/21 so i phoned customer services and asked if i could change date to 13/1/21. they told me that i would have to cancel the policy i bought and get a refund minus approx £25.00 approx and buy a new policy... no negotiation take it or leave it. i was told it was due to the IT Dept could nt change anything... No a great impression given So i have decided to off road my car for 2 days (13/1/21 and 14/1/21)

It was difficult to get a quote. The website required lots of specific details. It didn't bring across the data from confused.com very well. It wasn't very forthcoming with information about all the excesses or t's and C's as other sites. It did however have a competitive price which is why I purchased.

Not happy. Cannot access my account. Spoke to an advisor and apparently my details match the records so. So can’t get into my account if need documents. And I suppose auto renewal will be ticked automatically so they will just keep taking my money while I can’t stop it

Just signed up to an insurance with 1st Central and they are asking me for a review, which is pointless as you only know how good an insurance is once you have made a claim! Giving them two stars only as I see this as a way for them to get a review before the customer actually have had anything to do with them and therefor fishing for 5 stars which is a poor standard.

My first impression was calling customer service after buying my insurance and the operator was rude and shouted at me. I don't know how the next year with this insurer will be....

Can’t believe what a corrupt company this is. They lose cancelled policy letters Charge for cancellation £50 there fault to slow producing documents And charge 50£ for setting up policy RIP off now I have credit control after more money Total rubbish company

I have not yet received my policy documents. Please email me the documents. I paid on 22/09/20 and its now 30/09/20. The only email I received was this survey.

Been 1 year with them and haven’t been able to get any rewards cause I can’t log in on the first central rewards. Fix your page please

Hi Ruiz, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately our 1st Rewards scheme stopped on the 15th May. However any vouchers you buy before then will be valid until their expiry date. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused but we value all our customers which is why we focus on making our prices competitive and looking into other ways we can reward our customers.

Your website does not work? keeps saying my log in details are wrong? The link to reset my password does not work. It takes an average of ten minutes plus for someone to answer the phone. On the day I phoned and told them the website was not working I was told that the were experiencing difficulties with it but the IT team were working on it. I suggest you get a new IT team as it has been like this for two weeks now?? Sent a message on live chat and never got a reply??

Really bad at getting back to me. Put on hold several times for up to an hour and always told, we will ring you back, and they never did.

Not happy with the fact you cant send me documents out when I cant print them off my self will never use them again and wont be recommending

Not a great start with 1st central. They locked our account as they wanted documentation but their email did not come through. I tried the website but was unable to select any options. I called them on a Saturday and they were still unable to email me the request so asked me to call back on Monday. Switching insurance is usually much more straight forward than this!

I elected to have the bonus protection and the box was checked. Then after paying this option was crossed out and when reading through the policy docs, it could not be seen if it was there or not, so now I do not know whether no claims bonus protection is included or not , When I tried to phone to find out I was kept hanging on the line until I gave up.

In 40 years of buying insurance I have never been asked to send so many documents for proof! (I had no objection to that) I sent requested doc the same day, however they still wanted to contact my previous insurance to confirm my NCD for some reason my renewal notice was not proof enough!! They threatened to cancel my insurance if I did not give authority to them to contact my previous insurance company by a certain date! I have done everything requested promptly! Would not recommend this company. Have been made to feel like a fraud!! And this is only the beginning! The hassle I have had and the uncertainty was not worth the money I saved by changing to them!
