“Could include a simple paragraph in front of book explaining what color each book is for, etc. my girls started program before age 4”

“I will give a higher rating once I’ve had the chance to use it for a while longer. We’ve only just started this morning and I can say that after the first lesson, my child is already looking for her letter everywhere. I love the format, that it’s short and fun, and not over complicated! We call it her books game. Plus anything that incorporates music and repetition is awesome as far as I’m concerned. If today is any indication of how the next 3 1/2 weeks will go, I’ll be so happy to spread the word, seems to be well worth it!”

“The program seems great so far and my son really loves it. The box was not exactly the same as the ones in all of the pictures and I wish it at the slots to put the books were they go still.”

“We absolutely love this program. It is so incredibly easy to use, and the lessons are just the right length to effectively engage our child. Everything is clear and concise and guided. We’ve been working with our 4 year old for about a month and she is already learning to sound out 3 letter words. The only reason I removed a star from this amazing 5-star program is because of the alphabet songs. They are just so terrible. We are a very musical family, but these songs are not easy to learn, not easy to remember and they are not catchy or memorable enough so the child can utilize to remember and practice the sounds. The singing is bad, the sound quality is bad. These songs may have been okay a decade or more ago but if they really want this program to soar they need to invest in this portion. My child loves singing but she hates when we play the songs, she’s rather just skip them.”

“Loving this program. I've been home schooling my preschoolers and this has given us a perfect language program to follow. The books are such a great value alone. If you look at the bookstore for this amount of early readers, you'll spend just as much as you would on this course and not get any instruction, worksheets or music. So I highly recommend. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's a bit dated. For instance, learning "J" gave the example of a "Jack-in-the-box." I had to explain to my kids what this was! A couple of other instances like this that could have been more relevant. But really, this is a fantastic program if you're not sure where to start helping your kids to learn letters and learn to read.”

“Such a wonderful program! Mybchildren have tried many others and this is bay far the best and like are excited to read! My one suggestion would be to have material that helps teach the blends. I had to purchase another program to teach and give practice using s, r, l, and 3 c blends.”

“Really nice structure to the book series. The first books have all short A sounds, the next books run through the rest of the short vowels, then the books start bringing together two different vowels, then three and so on. Then it starts to mix in long A sounds and so on. The books are somewhat humorous and the illustrations are fun, which differentiates them from BOB books a lot. Areas of improvement needed: the book font makes upper case "I" look exactly the same as lower case "L", and makes lower case "T" look similar enough to an upside down "f" that it was confusing for a super beginning reader. And there's a need for more diversity in the set of characters.”
