“Ordered 4 tyres to be fitted at my local garage, on arrival was told only 3 were sent. Supposedly this is common with dealing with black circles. Anyway got 3 tyres fitted still waiting on the 4rth”
“Terribly unreliable. They cancelled my order last month and made another appointment without consulting me. We gave them a second chance yesterday, my wife tried them and was offered an appointment, they took payment from her card but then cancelled after customer service was closed. She has now applied for a refund. Who knows how long that will take, if successful. Do not book with black circles they are shocking. They take money for appointments which aren’t booked.”

VERY CONVENIENT CONSIDERING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICES CLOSES AT 5. 30 PM PHONED NOMINATED GARAGE WHO SAID THEY HAD MY CHOICE OF TYRE IN STOCK AND COULD FIT IMMEDIATELY AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN BLACK CIRCLE WERE OFFERING ! NOW AWAITING FULL REFUND FROM BLACKCIRCLE AND IF ITS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN 3 DAYS I WILL REPORT THEM TO TRADING STANDARDS AND NATIONAL PRESS. “I placed an order for 4x Michelin Primacy Zero Pressure 205/60/R16 92W tyres on the 14/05/20 with an original booking date of 21/06/20. I received a confirmation email stating that Blackcircles would email me again with the exact appointment time. I never received the second email or any other communication to confirm this, so the day before my booking on 20/06/20 I took it upon myself to ring the garage where the fitting was taking place (F1 Autocentre in Crewe). They told me that they declined the order on 15/05/20 the day after I made the original order, and that Blackcircles should have been in contact with me to rearrange the booking. Blackcircles did not contact me via any method and I had to ring their customer service myself to rearrange. I rearranged my booking for 25/06/20 at 10:00am. I turned up to my appointment only for the garage to tell me that they had only sent them THREE tyres, despite me ordering FOUR. So once again I had to ring Blackcircles customer services. I once again had to rearrange and they assured me that there would definitely be four tyres waiting for me this time. My new appointment was for today (29/06/20 at 10:30am). I rang the garage at 9:15am this morning just to check if they had sent them the fourth tyre. They had not. So for the second time if I hadn’t taken it upon myself to ring the garage to check, I would have turned up at the garage for there only to be THREE tyres there yet again. So I then rang Blackcircles customer service line AGAIN but to cancel my order this time.
I am absolutely shocked at how this company can mess someone’s order up THREE times, and especially regarding the number of tyres they ordered? I clearly ordered four tyres and on two occasions they happily allowed me to waste my time and turn up to an appointment where they had only sent the garage three tyres. It’s basic maths.
I am a frontline NHS worker, and had a 15% NHS discount that was applied to my order. I have not been able to use my car to travel to and from work since the original fitment date because my tyres got to a point where they are not roadworthy (hence me buying new ones). I have instead had to travel by bicycle now for over 2 weeks because Blackcircles have constantly messed up the order and further pushed back appointment dates due to the total incompetence of the company. If this is the thanks that Blackcircles show to NHS workers during a national crisis, then this company does not deserve to operate and claim to care by offering discounts. Absolute disgrace. I will never be using Blackcircles again.”
“Ordered a pair of tyres for fitment 5 days later, got an email the night before to say they hadn't arrived. This happened 4 times over 2 weeks so I cancelled, I had to tell their call center staff multiple times that I wanted to cancel before they stopped trying to fob me off and actually did it... This service has gone down hill massively in recent years. Never using them again.”
“Ordered 4 new tyres on Tuesday online was told they would be delivered on Friday. This was no problem as I had fitting arranged for Saturday. However a delivery driver arrived on Thursday morning with only two tyres. Was told by the driver they forgot to put on the lorry however don't worry I'll pop back tomorrow with the other two! Thought this was odd so I emailed blackcircles customer services and called, was assured on the phone this is normal and I will get the other two tyres tomorrow! Friday comes round, I wait until 3pm no delivery!. Emailed customer services and called. I was told the tyres are lost in transit however they will order 4 more and get delivered out asap but cant get them delivered in time for fitting, ( I only need two) was offered a manager to call me back in 15 minutes, 40 minutes later! I get a call to advise unfortunatly the tyres are lost in transit! Offered to arrange mobile fit when the finally get delivered however I would need to pay £69! This option has not resolved the problem and I will definitaly not order again not impressed. Won't recommend! I haven't had any email replies.”
“Last week. First pair of tyres 2 days late. No notification.
This week. 2nd set of tyres now 8 days late. Again no notification.
Contact on both occasions made to Indian call centre where operatives were polite but very difficult to understand. Blaming Corona but I am not having issues elsewhere.
Still no idea when I will receive my 2nd pair and will be getting a fitting cancelation charge tomorrow as I will have to cancel my booking for the tyres being fitted to my wheel refurbs..
Will never use Blackcircles again I am afraid.”
“Ordered one tyre for mobile fitting Pm slot, waited all day no show and no contact made. Called next morning to ask what was happening to be rudely shouted at down the phone by engineer after asking the question and saying he'd cancel the job. Engineer then hung up and cancelled job, only found this out because I called back contact centre. Contact centre staff were helpful however poor customer service by engineers, would not recommend.”
“Worst experience with company. Ordered two tyres and received a rude response from their recommended garage. Complained to blackcircles but customer services was not help at all and had to cancel my order. I do not recommend to anyone as its a total waste of time”
“Very poor customer service. I booked a slot 3 days in advance for tyres and fitting. Get a time slot and confirmation email. Then to get a email and a text the day before fitting saying it cant be done. Then to have the fitting re booked for a later date without asking me prior to this. I then replied to the email and no one answered this, so I rang the help line which was also poor customer service. This is happened to me before I am now awaiting a refund.”
“Booked AM appointment fitting 4 tyres, 2 days i advance, had to call fitters waited for response, none forthcoming, emailed black circles booked for morning slot as per my original booking followed swiftly by cancellation email rebooting for 3 days later, had to call and rebook convenient slot, suggested website state booking does not confirm you will get the date/time you want. Will not be returning customer...sort your booking system out”
“Extremely poor customer service
Booked Thursday for a Saturday appointment they cancelled by email and re-booked me on the following Tuesday with no discussion.
Luckily I saw the email on the Thursday contacted Blackcircles and told them the appointment was not acceptable, they booked me in with a garage further away for the Saturday.
On Friday they cancelled this appointment and re-booked for the following Wednesday again appoint time and place were not acceptable due to work.
I contacted blackcircles on Friday after consulting their website and gave them a time, date a garage that was acceptable.
Monday 10 minutes before they close they emailed me to say I was booked in at a garage miles away from the garage I wanted but they maybe able to fit me in on Tuesday. By the time I got the email it was to late to call.
I called today Tuesday to tell them that the garage was not acceptable with the timings and I would like the garage nearer me at 12:15 on Tuesday as stated in my email on the Friday before.
The earliest appointment they could make was for Friday over a week after I had originally booked, even though their website states that earlier appointments are available.
I am aware that local garage is slightly more expensive when booked direct rather than booked through Blackcircles but considering Blackcircles website and customer service is trash it looks like this is the way to go in-future.”

“Yeah, what can I say. My experience was the same as almost everyone else - I bought the tyres, booked a day for them to be fitted, only to have them email me (not even ring!) the day before to say it wasn't going to happen.
I'm currently waiting in a phone queue to get a refund. It's been ten minutes so far... After this I'll have to go and ask the boss if I can unbook the holiday I had booked for tomorrow.
Needless to say I won't be using them again.”
“Tyres booked and paid for 10 days before they were due to be fitted.
Recieved a call 1 hour after they were supposed to turn up to advise that the tyres are not in stock.
The customer service team were a joke and actually asked me to speak clearer as his "English is not very good!!"
Finally got a refund a week later.
The prices may be less expensive than other places but it's worth paying extra to avoid this joke of a company.”
