I have had a terrible experience with this company cost me £22 in calls and customer service is a joke like speaking to kids and for 4 days I am waiting for their great manager to call if I was the man paying the wages I would ask my manager a lot of questions beware when ordering with these clowns

what a absolute disaster of a company! I ordered a jacket for a trip I was going on, ordered it before the 1 o'clock deadline for 48hr delivery plus paid extra for the delivery, to then receive a email when it was due to be delivered saying they have cancelled the order and that I would have to wait 5-7 days for the refund!! they can take the payment in 30 seconds but can take up to 7 days to return it, its a discrace that companies can get away with this! I will definitely not be shopping here again and will use Go-outdoors in the future.

PIRATES SET YOU UP AND ROB YOU. AVOID Been totally ripped off and set up. Returned items to Blacks and awaiting my REFUND many weeks now. I've emailed numerous times and had no help and been ignored. So I phoned today and they said parcel had been received back to BLACK'S and I was entitled to a refund and that I would receive it in the next hour. Never got it. Phoned again and they then said because I had dispute open on PayPal it was stopping them refunding me and I was to close it. So stupid me closed it but i've still not been refunded. So I phoned again this time they said to email authorisations and it would be sorted today. Nope not had my money refunded. Useless and stressful. Total nightmare they owe me £144.18! Ive ordered many times off them in the past and never had this problem before. Awful way to treat a loyal customer

I wish i could give minus 20 stars. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. After 16 phone calls and 20 emails I am still awaiting refund of £750 for a returned faulty tent. You never speak to the same agent twice, some can hardly speak English, you have to repeat the claim details everytime because they are too lazy or stupid to read the notes. Multiple responses to the same email, with differing information. Absolute nightmare. NEVER BUY FROM BLACKS, MILLETS, OR ANY OF THEIR OTHER NAMES ONLINE. DO SO AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

Terrible experience. End of 2020 I tried to order a jacket - sent another customers order with all their details within breaching data protection. I assume someone also got my order with all my details. A week later I got another parcel with again with someone else’s order - another data breach. I returned it but never got my order. I demanded a refund and was good will compensation for data breach and inconvenience. In Aug 2021 I gave them another chance - was sent the wrong item and so much trouble returning it - they asked me to PAY to return !! Eventually they did organise for pick up at no cost to me and more compensation. Very very poor service. Avoid until they improve.

I ordered a pair of boots for £160 from Blacks online and the order was processed and my account debited immediately.I received no indication of delivery time so after 5 days of hearing nothing I emailed to ask when I would receive them.Iwas told that the boots were being picked from the warehouse so I asked to cancel the order but was told that this would not be possible despite several emails to Blacks cancelling the order. Received the boots finally after 7 days but had already purchased another pair and so I now have to return them apparently at my own expense and according to the many reviews here am going to have to wait for my refund if am lucky.I have been in contact with their "customer care" team and have so far spoken to 12 different members of staff so there is clearly no coordinated approach to dealing with complaints.I really want to take this further and noticed an article in the Times and Which highlighting poor service during the pandemic this morning naming and shamingJD Sports who are Blacks umbrella company.ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Wish I could score a zero. Disgraceful service and retail practises. Ordered a bag online for my son's birthday. Delivery was quoted for 5 days. Received text stating there was a delay in the warehouse. Tried to contact customer service to change delivery to my son's address. After several attempts managed to talk to a human! She explained that this wasn't possible and i would have to post on to my son. I then pointed out that surely the product was still in the warehouse, unless it was out of stock - which she denied. I then asked to speak to a manager which she said wasn't possible but would send an email on my behalf. Before I heard back from management I received 2 emails, one stating out of stock and the other saying distribution system had failed when picking order. Just received lies, excuses and non existing customer service. Now waiting with bated breath for a refund. Avoid at all costs!

Ordered a fleece on "5-7 day delivery" on 1st June, with £3.95 delivery. 16 Days later, I complained and the delivery fee was refunded. 28 Days later still no sign of the parcel, I asked to cancel my order and be refunded, 36 days later, still no refund.

The worst company in the world? I ordered twice from blacks once via their Amazon and via the website at the same time, they claim all the items went missing in transit, 2 different delivery companies, different times. absolute lies!

Ordered a tent a week in advance of a camping trip from Blacks website. Was informed some orders may take 10 days to arrive but 80% of orders arrive within 4 days. The day before my trip I had still not received a dispatch email so went to Millets and bought the same tent in their store. I called Black 'Customer Care' not that they do care. I wanted to cancel my order which had not been dispatched. I was told that they could not cancel the order and I would have to wait for it to be shipped and then refuse delivery for it to be returned. I explained that I was leaving to do away on holiday and that Hermes would likely just leave it on my doorstep but was told that this could not happen as Blacks have 'safeguarding' measures in place to prevent this. Low and behold the day after I leave Hermes leave it on my doorstep for all to see. I emailed Blacks again forwarding the Hermes delivery email to them and explaining that it could easily get stolen and asking them to get Hermes to go and collect it only to receive a generic email back asking me to claim for non delivery of the item. Get home 5 days later luckily to find the tent still there. I call Blacks to arrange returning it only to be told that I need to pay to return the item. I did not want the tent in the first place, I did not accept delivery of it and have had to pay for returning it. 1 month later and I have still not received my refund nor hand any contact from Blacks. Disguting service from an appauling company. Avoid at all costs.

Totally hopeless company rang to change delivery address told I could not until dispatched rang back when dispatched told I could not change delivery address at all. Told I will need to get a refund and re order if they manage to get the Parcel back from the courier. Do not order from this company as they are a complete waste of time.

dreadful after sale process and service - paid £34 for two self inflating loungers neither of which would inflate because they had a hole in. Told to take them to a local store or send them back at my own expense and someone would consider whether or not they were damaged - just a joke AVOID - even if the goods cost you a few £ more elsewhere do it as the agro just not worth it

ridiculous customer service, ordered £80 of stuff so did not pay delivery fee and then when I wanted to return some of the items they told me I need to pay £9.98 on Hermes collection as the box they send me the stuff in was too big. The guy on the phone was reading off a script for their returns policy and when I complained and asked to speak to a manager they said the manager would tell me the same so they didn't even bother transferring me. We have had more than a year of coronavirus and Blacs.co.uk has not upgraded their returns policy to join the 21st century like every other store, never again.

Purchased the wrong gas canisters, my mistake, took them back to the shop with the receipt and was told they don’t except gas canisters back not even for an exchange. Not told this at checkout or are there any signs to tell you this. Will not be shopping there again.

It’s a shame I hadn’t read the reviews below earlier. Only part of my order was received. I have complained and need to fill in forms before they will investigate, even though they have all my details. I’ve been passed from customer “care” rep to customer “care” rep. It seems to be to be a ploy to stall the process. I am stunned at the poor level of customer service. I would say if you can order your item from somewhere else do so! Don’t waste your time with Blacks. Definitely won’t be using them again.

Waiting six months in total for a refund on a missing part from my order. Been fobbed off everytime I've emailed. How this company gets away with this is beyond me, absolutely shocking

Oh my..abysmal is too kind for the experience..Blacks received a parcel not belonging them sent via collectplus with another parcel, which I did get a refund for after weeks and weeks. The parcel they don't own was received by them on the 4th February..I have confirmation of this.. like other peoples reviews it was sat in the warehouse, I was advised this would be rejected and returned to me..I'm still waiting, just short of 3 months on..I wrote to their company owners, registered on Companies House..at my own cost I sent this registered and it was signed for on 21.4.2021..not a moral bone in their bodies..This is theft, their not your goods and you did not pay for them..almost £200 down..Without a doubt, I say DO NOT SPEND A PENNY with this company!!!

Absolutely awful experience with this Blacks,they will take your money & fob you off about a refund,I’m 95£ light,was told it will be at least 3weeks for them to process the return, this is unheard of ,scam!!
