“Terrible company, do not sing up with them you will not get any calls or leads only time wasters and cold callers. They want a huge fee if you for nothing and you will not have your number or your email address in their page. They will provide you with their fake details so when you leave you have paid for advertising Cat not your company!! Terrible”

“I have just had my bathroom refurbished by Mr P Wood of Maple Leaf Home Improvements Nr Maidstone Kent, and I would highly recommend his workmanship. He went out of his way to be helpful to my requirements. Mrs A E Andrews Tunstall Nr Sittingbourne.”

“Another 2 weeks of receiving only 1 checkatrade call from customers after checkatrade changed their website to the new algorithms system just want to let other tradesmen know that if they are thinking of joining checkatrade DON'T it's the worst it's ever been ive been a member for 5 years it was great to start with but for about £1800 pounds a year to just be seen in your local area 2 days a week it's not worth it avoid at all costs”

“There is pay 30 days notice and extra payment of £83.99 when you are not longer the member just because you leaving? What's a scam! Not recommending at all !!! Don't go with them even for the free months (trial) offer as you will have to pay anyway.”

“I am a locksmith company in Portsmouth pay a lot of money being a member for last 10 years now on page 4 below companies that are 50 miles away yes 50 miles away will be cancelling my membership as soon as they reopen after Xmas just a big con now”

“We are the highest reviewed central heating company in Bexley and pay a small fortune per month! But Checkadrade and its algorithm system has decided we have had our time and chucked us onto page 47 of our own postcode!! Legal action being prepared”

“Ive been a member of checkatrade for 5 years now and my plumbing business has been totally transformed it's the best thing I've done it's gone from getting 10 calls a week to above 50 if you are a tradesmen it's definitely worth the money”

“I mistakenly signed up to use Checkatrade to promote our Cleaning company. On 11th October I notified them giving 30 days notice (in writing) that I no longer wanted to subscribe to their services. Since then we have been bombarded with calls, emails and threats that we owe them further fees, despite me given them notice. Apparently they are the only company in the world that doesnt accept written notice but need verbal notice!!!!!!”
