“ignorant For several weeks, I was unable to log in to the tradeperson app, which meant I could not receive job leads or notifications. I sent screenshots of the problems via email, yet despite this, my initial concerns were not taken seriously. As a long-standing customer, I found this lack of response disappointing, especially given that I was being charged during this period, while I could not access the app or receive job leads. After raising these issues through multiple emails and phone calls, my app was eventually restored, but I am still not receiving an adequate number of leads. Despite my repeated complaints, this issue persists, causing further frustration. Given the ongoing nature of this problem, I requested a refund for the payments taken from my account over the past two months, along with a cancellation of my contract. However, neither request are actioned to date. will never recommend them”

“DO NOT TRUST THEM. I selected a 'TRUSTED TRADER'!! from CHECKATRADE.COM website) . Paid nearly £1800 for maintence work (pointing chimney, replacing damaged tiles etc.(gaurantee for 5yrs).. 12 WEEKS LATER after stormy weather, water coming through ceiling!. Replaced tile had fallen off .. phoned roofers numbers... message from Checkatrade.com ' ".. the trader is no longer our member''!! Gave up waiting for them answer phone to complain. I am DISGUSTED.. WHAT CHECKING DO THEY ACTUALLY DO to PROTECT the CUSTOMER.. and who CHECKS THEM!!!! .!!!”

“I watched an interview on the much anticipated ifsmarket investment and i made the initial deposit, minimal investment of $257,000 USDT. Following that, I received a constant stream of calls from this broker, who attempted to get me to spend more money in the next and subsequent rounds in order to double my profits. “For my job some companies (not all local) showed an interest but do not bother turning up. When questioned why, the normal excuse of still working on a job so couldn’t make it. None of them professional enough to inform you though. Stay away from it unless you want to waste your own time.”

“DO NOT TRUST CHECKATRADER. If there was a zero star option I would use it. Last week I contacted a building company through their website, seemingly vetted as per the claims on Checkatrader's website. Forewarned by the scam outlined below I checked the company's listing with Companies House, only to find that this company which advertised itself as having many years of experience, had been set up just two months previously by a 25 year old chap. His previous company, set up 6 months previously, had been voluntarily closed - I imagine following poor reviews which I found via an internet search. Needless to say we moved on. Checkatrader has continued to trade following the scam we suffered some years ago when we a big flat extension (not) done by Builders London, getting their name from Checkatrader. We read that Checkatrader checks and verifies all companies so went ahead. The company turned out to be operating a scam to get money for the demolishing part of the work then disappearing. This is exactly what happened; we started legal proceedings through the small claims court, aided very well by Which Legal, along with a number of other customers who had been similarly scammed. Checkatrader's response to our dilemma was pitiful. I did a check on Builders London and found that they were under a number of court proceedings. They had listed two poor pensioners as Directors and disappeared completely, so the court cases were unable to proceed. Checkatrade were unrepentant about their claim to have vetted the company, saying that we had no redress for poor service due to the discalimer on their website. Checkatrader actually helps scam Companies to operate their awful dealings. They DON'T vet them properly, as my own investigations of the two companies showed - I soon realised they were dodgy - yet Checkatrader did not. They list anyone who pays them. Trading Standards have reached the same conclusions. DO NOT USE CHECKATRADER. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH”

“I asked workman to repair two panels on fence. One completely broken in gale but I was unable to pull out the other. So needed a tradesman. I initially bought one to do myself but asked will I get another if he would do the job. He said he would get panel. Did I mind the colour? I didn’t think there was much difference in fence colour so I said ok. . He fitted my one with horizontal slats, his one with vertical slats, completely different colour. Warning sign I now realise is he wanted cash. Will not go on checkatrade again.”
