arrived at Pendine Sands on Friday 22/10 around 8pm. We followed the contactless check in procedure and went straight to the caravan. It had a green sign up to indicate that it was safe to enter as it had received an enhanced clean. Below is a list of what we was greeted by as we entered the caravan • ripped sofa • cobwebs all around caravan • a lot of dog hair in the carpet • dirty cutlery & kitchen utensils • carpet full of stains • flys in caravan • dust all over shelves,cupboards & glass cover on cooker • sofa grubby looking & stains • mould around seal of fridge • dirty sheet on one of the beds • other peoples clothes under bed • other peoples food in cupboard This is after I had received a phone call earlier that day to say that their cleaners was short staffed due to covid-19 sickness and my check in that was originally 5pm would now be 6pm. We swept the floor with a brush and you can see in one of the pictures the amount of dog hair that came up was disgusting. The next morning we went to reception to complain, the manager came over and asked if we could give them a one hour window that day so they can come around and further clean the caravan. We agreed to this and arranged a time, a member of staff came around at the time agreed but could not see what the problem was when we showed him the issues. All he did was hoover the living area carpet with an under powered hoover and replace the dirty sheet with a new one, spent no longer than 15 minutes cleaning. The caravan was still just as dirty, this was still not the enhanced clean that the caravan was suppose to have had due to covid-19 . Carpet was still covered in dog hair, glass cover on cooker still covered in dust. We sprayed the bathroom floor with one of my own cleaning sprays, wipped it up and the amount of dirt on the tissue is vile. We had to book other accommodation else where for the remainder of our holiday, as the hygiene standards at this site are very poor. The whole site looked run down, unkept and overgrown. Nothing like the pictures on the website. The caravan was no where near a reasonable level of hygiene and cleanliness for a family to stay in. I have been offered me a 20% refund which I find insulting. I would avoid this site at all costs and book somewhere else if you want a relaxing holiday

Used this company once before and was initially happy. Second time we booked with them my wife's grandmother had passed before we were to leave. I had paid for the cancellation cover but I warn you this doesn't mean a thing and you still have to jump through hoops to receive a refund. I had to send her death certificate as proof of death and then they said it wasn't a direct relative until we spoke to the manager and complained. Out of £725 we got back £575 so £150 lost over 'compensation and admin fees'! Sounds like a lot of rubbish for people typing on a computer all day. Won't be using them again. Insensitive to their customers. Hope they enjoy the money they gained as they have lost out on an potential customers in the future due to being greedy!

My in laws booked 3 week break commencing on the 2nd October, However my father in law was taken ill with a stroke 2 days before they were due to travel, Obviously they had to cancel however as they cancelled less than 7 days before they LOST over £1000.I was told they were offered holiday insurance which my in-laws swear blind they weren't and when challenged for the call recording miraculously it cannot be found..hmmm how coincidental. DO NOT TOUCH THESE WITH A BARGEPOLE!!

We booked a holiday with Hoseasons, unfortunately my brother in law died the day before we were due to travel. Called Hoseasons to see if we could change the holiday to a different date, no sympathy and offer of any money back or to change for a later date. I have since called Hoseasons 3 times to see about getting a ‘no show’ form so we can claim on our insurance. On hold for an hour and a half each time and then cut off after this time. No response! Shocking service, will not be using again

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH ANY HOSEASONS COMPANIES 14 months ago my family booked a holiday to Snowdonia. We are a party of 11 so knew we needed to book a year or more in advance as it needed to be in half term, near Snowdon and a house that would accept children and dogs. We were going to celebrate my Mums 60th birthday, and it was to be the first time the family will be together in 2 years. THREE WEEKS before our holiday cottages.com called and told me it was cancelled - with no reason. Absolutely disgraceful. A party of 11, 3 weeks before half term and our holiday has just been cancelled without any chance of finding anywhere else to stay. We were given no reason and the response from my complaint 'I cannot advise of a time scale of when to expect further communication on this.' I have since heard nothing. We were offered £300 compensation however divide that between the 10 adults now not going on holiday, that gives us £30 each to go towards trying to find somewhere else to go. Impossible. We are furious, gutted, frustrated. An absolute disgrace.

We had some issues with the accommodation we booked. On our return we emailed them twice and to date have not heard a thing from them. We were not given directions and were given an incorrect check in time. Customer service is non existent and we certainly won't use Hoseasons again.

booked 3 night stay in borth told hoseasons told them 2 days before holiday was due no fuel in car to make trip and no garages near me with any fuel they said no fuel problem paid £179 my weeks state pension hoseasons did not say i could go other date or put it to holiday booked next year so please avoid using this company if you dont want to be ripped off and if you want fuel go to hoseasons because no problem must have own private garage

Paid £845 for a cottage west Barr cottage Dumfries we lasted 12 hours and that was only to rest to drive back home pillows mattresses stained don’t think furniture had been changed since the sixties probably never see a refund but as long as it stops people getting ripped off and losing their money

Booked a caravan in 2019 cancelled because of covid rebooked for 2020 owed 70 paid 480 was told get confirmation through post when went in office they realised they had given the wrong information from the booking rep but lost my holiday because no more caravans still awaiting a reply just phoned up he said we sent you a email I said they didn't have one he said can I take it wow you e just said you had it so bloody angry getting nowhere

Tried to use GDPR (which is meant to protect consumers private data), to allow any booking of advertised places - avoid this agent. They are using private information to bottleneck bookings; I refused to give them my whole address and they cancelled the booking. The EXACT opposite of GDPR. £289.00 loss for them.

I booked a lovely place in mablethorpe a new build and then a couple of days before the holiday i was told it was 'double booked' got various reasons but bottom line they put the money back in my account but didnt tell me..Found out when checking on key pickup Customer complaints spent ages trying ot sort a replacement out at very late notice and the place we eventually settled on ended up a dive..grubby,and not suitable for anyone We reluctantly stayed one night due ot driving and left very first thing next morning losing the rest of holiday and money ..poor service from a high profile company...

I booked a holiday with hoesesons for top lodge with spa and when they had taken the money . They then sent an email of the acomadation just a bog starnderd lodge , when was finally able to speek to some sap of a girl she told me well theres nothing i can do you chose that accomadation . So for £900 in the mid of oct that is what they have palmed us of with have written registerd letter to simon attwell managing director telling him that no confirmation was ever sent but of coures no reply . So watch this company they are scamimg people by showing top notch goods and then giving mo conformation of what they have sold you you untill they have taken your money . Never ever will i get caught again app this is a marketing ploy that is used buy hoesesons so watch out

Had to cancel out New Year break 20-21 Due to COVID, Hoseasons refused to refund our deposit. Gave us a credit note which we had to use within 28 days. Rebooked the same for 21-22 NewYear break. Due to unforeseen circumstances we can now not go. Contacted Hoseasons to cancel with 4 months notice, they were more than happy to cancel the holiday. No doubt as it’s plenty of time for someone else to rebook it. They then informed me that the cancellation fee was my entire £150 deposit. Then offered me to transfer the holiday at an extra £35 admin fee, trying to extract even more money from me to line the companies pockets. I will never be making a booking or taking a holiday anywhere that Hoseasons have an input or control of.

We had TUI vouchers for our wedding party and due to Covid-19 we needed to use them. The only U.K. holidays that TUI do are hoseasons. For £1119.00 we got a one bedroom caravan on a park dean sute in Cornwall. The caravan was not top of the range, I had to sleep in the lounge with no where to put the cushions from the settee. There was no bed linen for the pull out bed. The shower was dangling off and there was a puddle found my feet that I had to have my shower in 2 parts. I reported the dangling shower which was of no use at 3.15 on on the Friday on arrival if I hadn’t had gone to reception the following day demanding that they fix it it would have remained like that. I had also reported it had in Friday night with no response. No decking caravans are on top of each other. To use the washing machine it was £5,00 without the cost of drying it. Well over priced and would not use TUI or hoseasons again. We had to take this caravan we asked for a lodge but apparently they had none left. Poor communication by hoseasons prior to arrival I spent over sn hour on the phone trying to sort out my login for the park Dean. Over priced for a pokey caravan.

Booke to go to Hornsea, lodge was not as advertised on the website and certainly NOT luxury! Filthy, disgusting and lacking in utensils and amenities advertised. Was offered a cleaner....the lodge needed knocking down. Travelled 10 hours to get there with a terminally ill individual for potentially his last ever break away....what an awful experience. Made a complaint to Hoseasons, ignored for 28 days sevwral times so contacted them via chat. Was told that they were still awaiting a response from the park!!! Said i would wait a further 7 days yet nothing arrived, no acknowledgement, no response so now with ABTA Travel Ombudsman with around 75 photos highlighting the disgusting conditions subjected to. Will never use this company again....they have no idea the state of the amenities they are leasing out and are selling the dream of a relaxing getaway under false pretences. Shocking.

Just returned home from Brockwood Hall Millom, stayed from 2/8/21 - 9/8/21. Booked Windermere lodge, no such place stayed in Buttermere lodge absolutely filthy. went on extended family holiday to spend time with my terminally ill 5yr old grandson had to go out & buy cleaning stuff to make it safe for him. bathrooms stunk, one of our family fell in bathroom through leaking shower ended up at hospital with broken shoulder !!! staff very unhelpful. beautiful grounds but thats it would not recommend at all. you should be checking your sites. Totally spoilt a much needed family holiday

I requested to be given two weeks extra to assist in paying for my holiday. I having suffered recently two heart attacks had gone down to half pay. I had been advised it was possible to cancel but because it was probably the last time my mother would visit her sister made every effort to reach the target. They only agreed one week extension at the end of this period I was still short. I let them know they duly cancelled the holiday but I received no money back. I was lied to many times by customer services about policy and promise of manager call backs weren’t even recorded on their sustem. As a loyal customer of theirs for many years I am appalled at the level of support I received.

Booked an ainsdale caravan in Ocean bay and never received that model but a lower grade one and staff didn't care,no bed linen and caravan not cleaned properly we left a day early and won't be back again an experience to be forgotten.
