Stay Far Away - 2 Weeks - No Lense. I'm Hezron. I run a successful video production business - HezyTek Production (check it out on Google) I've been on a front-page BBC documentary and work with amazing clients globally. I'm taking the risk by using my name to speak out about how dreadful this company is. I've ordered things online for the last 15 years and let me tell you: I have never had such a bad experience in my entire life. Jessops lie to you every chance they get. Jessops tell you their products is in stock when it's not. Jessops speak vaguely to avoid the truth, Jessops do not care about you or your money. Even though I've always known Jessops to be a good brand... from the shops and the fact that mastermind Peter Jones owns it, I've never actually bought from there before. I usually order on Wex Photo, Park Cameras, Clifton Cameras or Amazon. I'm so glad I didn't. I decided to buy a 24MM sigma lense from Jessops because why not? What could possibly go wrong..... EVERYTHING. The first red flag was finding out only after I had purchased that delivery would be in 3-5 days - however not guaranteed. In 2021, in a world where next-day delivery is the rule and no longer a luxury, I instantly had a dirty feeling about the hell I was about to go through. But I said oh well, we are in a pandemic, it's Jessops - owned by Peter Jones... i'll just wait. So I parked my gut feeling to the side and plowed on. I WAS A FOOL. I should have trusted my gut feeling from the first instance. the following Monday was 5 days later, nothing turned up. I called customer services, they promised me my product was in stock in the warehouse, it would be shipped tomorrow for Wednesday delivery. Wednesday - no delivery. I'll called Customer Service, they assured me an error went wrong and it was now 'expected' to delivery on Friday. Do you see how they purposely use vague language to decieve you. They're tricksters. Friday - no delivery. This time they apologized and informed me my 'issue' was going to top level management. 'top level management' assured me that may lense 'may' arrive 'sometime next week'. Jessops make you feel as if you're bad for even asking where your product is. Jessops gaslight you into believing you're wrong and you should just wait as long as they want you to for your product. By this point I was furious. I mentioned who I was, and only at that point did they come back with an offer. They offered me a £15 coupon code to their online photo site. What a joke! Like I'll ever shop there after this. This is like someone stealing your car, you catching them only for them to say 'sorry - here's some petrol, your car is somewhere out there, though I'm not too sure where - be on your jolly way'. I too disregarded the negative reviews on here. I just couldn't believe it could be true. I even read multiple articles stating they're now in administration. Believe the hype - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I've never felt so abused, neglected, and shamed in my entire . Jessops makes you feel absolutely worthless. "Sure - We'll take your money! But hahaha where your product is? WE DONT KNOW - and guess what? We don't even care!" Thank God I just happened to use PayPal when I ordered. Once you open up a case with them, they'll withhold the money from Jessops and my money will be back. But I feel so sorry for the people on here that have ordered with a debit/card. Jessops will not process you a refund - even after weeks of waiting. It took me a further 2 days to even receive a response about my 'request' for a refund. Stay far away. You've been warned. I ordered a camera and it got received by someone else. I've been trying to contact Jessops for over a month and Ben Ford (manager) replied me twice every two weeks with no solution. He kept repeating to ask neighbours and does not want to refund or re-send item. Do not buy from here, cause if any problem like this appears, they will ignore you and will not want to sort it out.

Very disappointed by the service provided by Jessops to professional photographer I placed an order for a Fuji X-T3 in the Oxford Street shop on 20 September 2018 and paid the full price of £1,349 upfront. Since I am a full time professional photographer, I asked when the camera will be delivered and I was told that will happen in maximum 2 weeks from placing the order - which would have been no later than 04 October 2018. On 25 September 2018 I contacted Sales Customer Support by calling 0344 800 4444 to request an update on the order. They have told me I was going to have the camera delivered at home on 08 October 2018, as it was expected to arrive in the store on 05 October 2018 according to the pre-order waiting list they had. On 08 October 2018 I have called the Sales Customer Support line again to request an update as no camera was delivered. The reply I got was that most probably my camera was going to be delivered on 15 October 2018 as they were expecting a new batch to be delivered on 12 October 2018. They were going to check again and call me back to confirm the delivery date - unfortunately nobody called me with an update. I called back on 15 October 2018 for an update, explaining the fact that since I have traded in an older camera for this new one, I was counting on having the new body for work commitments. This time, they could not confirm a delivery date - the answer I got was that they have absolutely no information for me and that they will call me back with an update. It is now 18 October 2018, I did not receive the camera I have ordered and paid in full since 20 September 2018 and I did not even receive a courtesy call back from the Jessops team despite their promises. I find this to be completely unprofessional and disappointing from a business of such calibre. Besides the fact that the camera is essential for my work commitments, I would not have placed the order and paid it in full until there was enough stock available so I could receive it in a reasonable timeframe. I paid for the new camera in full and traded in the other camera body on the premises the new one was going to be delivered to me in 2 weeks' time. The promised 2 weeks delivery date have now become 1 month and no updates from the Jessops team. Frankly, I feel disrespected and let down - especially since every time I called I explained the situation and despite promises for call backs with updates, nobody called me back! This was not the first time I bought from Jessops, but it will surely be the last and I will share my unhappy customer experience with other photography professionals.

Paid for an item, didn't get it, nor did I get the refund I ordered my item a week ago (Wednesday) which cost over £400 and was expecting next day delivery. DPD failed to deliver the first two times (drive said shop for delivery was closed, yet its a 6am-11pm CO-OP. I phoned DPD Saturday who said they would deliver that day, nothing, I phoned again the next day, same response, same nothing. By Monday I check the tracking to find the item is on its way back to Jessops. I phoned Jessops Monday because from what I can see I've paid for an item which they have failed to deliver, so naturally I'd like my money back. Jessops are refusing to refund as the package is still "out for delivery" despite acknowledging the item is on the way back to them. Tuesday late afternoon the package is still "on its way back to Jessops" so I phone again. Jessops are still refusing to begin a refund. I've paid for an item, Jessops have failed to get it to me, yet for some stupid procedural reason they won't refund me until the item gets back to them. Even then they say the refund could take up 5 working days. The long and short of it is... I paid £400+ for an item, Jessops failed to deliver, I will now be without the £400 needed to purchase the item else where. Did I mention I needed it last Thursday. Really poor expereince

Do not ever shop with Jessops, I think Peter Jones needs to take a look at his customer service model and the staff. I ordered a camera for my daughters birthday 10 working days before. However, it did not arrive, despite it being in stock. They said they were waiting for film but conveniently found out that was rubbish. So no present for daughter, no help from customer services. Tried to ask for refund so I can buy an alternative gift but it takes 3-5 days for refund (just like their shipping) Thanks for ruining a child’s birthday and present. If there were 0 stars that’s what customer services would get. No thanks to Hannah and Cameron Suggest they look for a position which is not customer based.

Do not use this company. I placed an order the beginning of December 2020 for a Christmas present at the value of over £100. I received no correspondence regarding the order and as Christmas approached I contacted customer service by email expressing my concern. I received 1 response back assuring me stock is replenished regularly. Again I waited and emailed again for an update and did not to this day received an email response. Christmas came and went which was very embarrassing and I continued to chase this via email to receive no response. I called and was cut off as soon as I was speaking to an advisor and then this week resulted to the online chat. On 19.01.2021 I was then advised the items jessops allowed me to order over a month ago was actually discontinued by their supplier, yet they failed to inform me and still had my money. I was assured a refund would be arranged within 24 hours. 24 hours passed and I was still not refunded my money, so again I had to result to the online chat and was then refunded immediately. I am still raising a complaint for the service I received because if it was not for my persistence I would still be over £100 at finial loss, with no item and it’s clear jessops had no intention of contacting me to inform me of this mess up. To say I am disappointed is an absolute under statement. I am have advised jessops I wish for this complaint to be escalated but I highly doubt I will receive any response but I will continue to raise this until I received a fair explanation or gesture of good will. Do not order from here.

I have never had to write a negative review in my life, however the service from Jessops has been appalling and need to ensure that people do not use this company. I purchased DJI Refresh for my Drone 4 weeks ago and was informed on purchase that I would receive the product within 24 hours. I have been emailing customer service for 4 weeks and have still not received any response. After days of trying to contact customer service by phone, I finally reached somebody who told me I would ‘just have to wait’, this was after 3 weeks! Since then, I have again emailed several times and emails are just being ignored. I have never ever experienced anything like it from a ‘reputable’ company. I only read the reviews after purchasing from the company and can see that multiple customers have had similar experiences. Do not purchase from this company, the service is by far the worst I have ever experienced in my life. Please avoid this company at all costs!!!

My body physically aches, especially my neck with the amount of facepalming, pacing, stress, and anger I've had to deal with because of this crappy company. Worst gift giving experience of my entire life so far. Long story short, DON'T ever buy anything online from Jessop's. Ordered before Christmas, it's now been nearly a month since I ordered and it's ARRIVED DAMAGED, then returned BROKEN IN HALF, then the same broken pair was sent back to me, then sent away and made it way back to me for a third time. Still no response from either Csjessops.com or csresolutionsjessops.com outraged by the amount of time I've had wasted, a 7am-5pm collection slot (4 separate occasions now) for a pair of binoculars that arrived broken in half. Also Ive still been left in the dark with regards to what the solution is, I keep only getting umms and arrs about what they should do coz this is clearly such a massive fk up. I just want either a new pair or a refund and it's still such a struggle for them to even approve that and let me know what the outcome is. Nobody knows how to resolve this problem because not a soul has even tried to send me a new pair yet. They won't send you the goods you've ordered UNTIL they receive the broken goods back, now normally this would make sense, especially if the product can be resold or refurbished. The pair I received couldn't even zoom in, the zoom arm was completely jammed and the focus was never syncing... It's almost like one of the lens has been completely detached and forcibly been put back together again. It also came to me in a box labeled KITE PACKAGING.CO.UK so I know it was some other users broken pair that was sent back too, how the fk it ended up at my house, not once, not twice but three times due to Jessop's and DPD being incapable of delivery services. If you like being left in the dark, receiving countless broken or completly destroyed food then Jessop's is the place for you. Just make sure you take some Kalms or summin before you try and sort anything out with them. It WILL be a very stressful experience. Good luck. Oh, and wish me luck too! Haha

Would be 0 if I could. Ordered a Sony battery grip (showing as OOS - available to order) this morning they've refunded the money without explanation. I'll be using London Camera Exchange from now on.

The worst shopping experience and ultimately loosing £150. Paid for express next day delivery of some camera batteries. Arrived 2 weeks later (after I needed them) so requested a refund. After chasing several times for some kind of response they finally said I could return but failing to mention that only certain couriers would take them so wasted trips to post office to try and send back. Finally arranged for a courier to collect, after weeks (not exaggerating) of them saying each day they where coming and no show. Finally collected just before Christmas and I have since had no communication from Jessops or refund despite me once again having to chase them for some kind of update. I am now unable to to get hold of Jessops at all. So I have lost the batteries and £150. I placed this this order at the start of November and it’s still an ongoing issue. Customer service has been diabolical

Jessops used to be a good retailer many years ago, now a complete shambles! Purchased a used autofocus lens for £381.00. Advert and my email confirmation clearly state it as autofocus and all specs are the same as the autofocus model. Their support now claiming it's a manual focus lens! The manual focus version is cheaper when bought new! I can currently see a used model on Harrison Camera for £175.00. Who in their right mind would pay £381 for a used model? Jessops now saying they are cancelling my order and I will have to wait 5 days for refund. So not only are they unable to list used items correctly but their staff have no idea what the market prices really are. I'm still convinced this listing MUST be for an autofocus version but they simply don't see how odd it is for a used model to sell for much more than a new lens. I'd advise staying well clear of Jessops. I've always found London Camera Exchange and WEX to be much better for new and used and will make sure to use them instead.

absolute abysmal to deal with - used to be reputable, but now just as bad a hole in the wall company. Ordered lens worth £1200, kept the money for over a week, then cancelled without any explanation or email - not something expected from a supposedly high street retailer. I mean really, how bad can you get that half the time your website doesn't even work properly.

I ordered an (in stock) item from Jessops some 10 days ago as I thought I'd support a traditional high street retailer rather than Amazon, but now realise it was a dreadful mistake. My card has been charged, but nothing delivered, there is no information using the order checker on their website, their phone number is permanently closed, their live chat deactivated and they don't answer emails, so are completely unreachable. I now have no choice but to go to my cc company, trading standards and ultimately the police. :-(

I placed an order over a month ago and received zero updates regarding it. When I tried contacting customer support they said it would be a week. That was 2 weeks ago now. Really bad customer service. They avoid giving you a straight answer because they don't know it themselves.

I wanted to upgrade my X100F to the X100V, so I traded it in, and applied for financing the rest. That was approved on 3rd March. The X100V appeared as awaiting stock on their website. I asked them when they will receive them and they told me "soon". I waited 10 days and contacted their customer service, no reply. Waited another week and contacted them again, no reply. I tried to call, no answer. I finally was able to speak to them via their website chat app. They told me one week or two. After two weeks, I opened their chat and asked again, same: one or two weeks. And the same again, two more weeks, same answer. Last week I received a message from the courier that the parcel from Jessops would be delivered the next day, no message from Jessops though. Next day I received an email from the finance company that as Jessops had fulfilled my order, the monthly instalments will start. When I received the parcel, surprise! it wasn't the camera, but the weather seal kit I ordered together. I contacted them again, only to have them tell me that they don't know, it could be 2 or 3 weeks, but not for sure, to send the camera. So, they stupidly sent me a kit that costs £50, they haven't sent the main item of the order, the camera. And they say they are so sorry that they can't do anything about the financing payments starting. Really??? So, why the f have they sent me that stupid kit that I can't use because they haven't sent me the camera? So, more than two months now, and I still haven't received it, and they can't tell for sure when they will send it. And I have to start paying for an order that hasn't been fulfilled. They don't reply to emails, and they don't answer the phone. The only way is via their website chat. This is the second camera I bought from them, but it will also be the last one. Never again.

Ordered a printer from their website that said “in stock “ at the time. Money debited from my account and after a few days decided to find out when it would be arriving. It was then that I noticed their website stated, “currently awaiting stock”. Can’t call them as their phone lines are closed, can’t use online chat as they online chat system is closed no response from email! This is out and out fraud, there is no other description for it!

I had ordered a professional camera worth £ 2650. I had placed the order on Thursday, 7 January 2021. The money was debited from account on the same day. Since then, I have been trying to contact them on phone, email and also online chat. Other than an automatic email reply from a no-reply inbox, I am struggling to get some update from Jessops. Their website showed as the product was available hence, I placed the order. There are other providers who have promised delivery in 3 days, but I cannot place an order unless Jessops refund my money or gives us a delivery date which meets our requirement.. But I am stuck because Jessops are neither confirming the delivery of the product nor refunding the amount if they are unable to supply. During the COVID situations I have found online purchases have become more efficient and many responsible companies have streamlined process. I think Jessops should learn from companies like Amazon, Currys PC world, B&Q ... and try to learn from them on how to deal with customer orders during the COVID times. I have sent a third polite reminder to Jessops only asking for a response but not succeeded yet.
