We are currently trying to appeal our “parking fine” from Australia. We parked in the NCP at Gloucester. After driving around the car park for awhile we finally got a park. I went over to the ticket machine which was broken. I went to the other machine which had a big queue. Everyone in line was struggling with the machine and took ages to get a ticket. As I got closer in the queue I realised that you needed your registration number- as we had a hire car I didn’t know it. I went back to my husband who was waiting at the car. We decided to leave we didn’t want to go back to the end of the queue again. We had been there for 15 minutes. When we returned home we noticed the car hire company had debited our credit card( £60 for fine and £40 care rental admin fee)! We have sent multiple emails to NCP and it’s still “under review”, the online chat never works and when we tried to call we were put on hold forever and it was going to cost a fortune from Australia. So if you read this NCP, we would appreciate a favourable response. Not happy. Fiona Australia.😡

Incompetent. App doesn’t work. Pay later doesn’t work. Embarrassing and useless. Will park elsewhere

Can’t ever get a chat reply. All I get is that they are busy. Considering the charges for parking I consider it a disgraceful service in a first world country

NCP trying to open an account has tiny print needs magnifying glass , the password requires non alphanumerical digit but its hidden in the small print but nevertheless accepts it without it then allows you to carry on completing the whole app and then later when you go to use it and log in it says email and password incorrect then when you try to change it and the app says the email confirmation code isnt correct … gave up in the end !

Could not pay online due to requirung javascript enabled which it was. Downloaded app couldnt use it - drove all the way back to cardiff and paid £6 more - oh and emailed you with a eesponse expected in 5 days but you issue a pcn in 24 hours - absolutely useless, unfair and non- invlusive!!

ZERO STARS App doesn't work properly, zero customer service - no one answers phone and chat facility is useless, even the links it sends you to don't work! Left car park over 19 hours ago and session still open 🤷🏽‍♀️

I parked in a disabled bay in a motobility car with my blue badge clearly displayed. I then received a £100 fine. I took it to an appeal and it took ages. I still had to pay that fine. Their customer service line is a joke. I rang many times and no one picked up the call. I tested it out one day and let it ring until someone did answer. I let it ring for 5 hours 43 minutes 8 seconds. I only hung up after that long as I had a visitor. Absolutely appalling. I then emailed them to inform them that I was taking legal action and would take action to recover all monies that I'd have to spend doing so. It was only then I finally had a reply. I still had to pay that fine.

The app doesn't work. I tried to register but got nowhere. Don't bother. Just use another car park. No wonder the review scores are so low.

Big fines for regular customers is not an ok practice for any business. How do they justify this? Greedy and disrespectful to loyal customers

Been trying to argue my fine with ncp for over a year now this is a disgrace how can sell your debt on I’m a taxi driver and make regular trip to Gatwick I have registered my vehicle on auto pay and they missed it some how couple of times and as I didn’t respond I’m time they have sold my charge on to a debt company. The whole purpose of registering my vehicle is so I don’t forget as I do so many trips to and from Gatwick so I’m not at fault similar thing happened with Heathrow too but they cancelled my charge and only paid £5 drop off charge I pay thousands in these drop of charges per year shame on them for treating customers like this

Just been fined £60 for a two minute over stay. Took longer than 2 minutes to get out of the car park. I thought the legal requirement was a 10 minute grace period. Why would they act illegally? How many times is this happening across the country?

No stars, totally useless app /phone number. Customer service non existent. I think it’s designed to make people unable to pay on time so they can send you a PCN. How a big company can be so bad is unbelievable.

Pay later option advertised in car park - attempted to pay later online but the option doesn’t work on mobiles! I have no other option within the 24 hour limit. Advertising didn’t state any restrictions on devices. Trying to contact NCP, no answer. Ridiculous.

Unable to pay with the “pay later” option ! A total disgrace !! Why have they made it so difficult ? I will definitely look for alternative car parks in future.

The app won’t go past the how to pay, then the app said I did not exist so as to change my password, I’m not in the system but I can’t register as a customer, even if I delete it and try to use via a different email it still failed on the how to pay page. Tried emailing NCP but no response. Very disappointing, having to use another car parking provider

I am deeply disappointed with the way NCP has handled the penalties related to parking violations on Gatwick Airport's red route. I have accepted my issue and i paid penalty, but because penalty was issued after 28 days which is late enough to repeat violations in case if you don't know , i realized that i stopped 3 more times until penalty arrived , I called NCP and specifically asked the advisor if there were any more penalties pending because i crossed 3 more times. I have explained that i made mistake because i dropped my wife at work and her colleagues suggested me that in place where i stopped is not going to be a problem if will stop for few 3 seconds. The advisor reassured me that there were no other violations on record. Based on this information, I provided the date and time when I had stopped, trusting that there would be no further consequences and they reassured me that i don't have to worry. However, contrary to the advisor's assurance, NCP proceeded to apply additional penalties for the same violations. Looks like adviser applied this penalties in purpose. This contradiction has left me feeling deceived and frustrated, as I had acted in good faith, relying on the advisor's guidance. The combination of contradictory advice, delayed penalty notifications, and strict enforcement has caused me significant financial hardship. It is disheartening to experience such unfair treatment from NCP, particularly after seeking clarification from their advisor and being given incorrect information. My wife is working part time in cleaning and is earning only 30£ in a day, but this guys send me fine of 100£ each I did appeal explaining them my situation but they refused. Looks like i going to pay for all penalties anyway, I'm going to send my money including all my problems and stress, hopefully NCP can deal with them better than me have a good day guys

I use the gym at Worcester cathedral which offers the NCP Parking for free to it customers. I haven’t used the gym for long time now and when I went to the gym today the 10th of may 2023, the barrier wasn’t there and being in auto pilot mode, I drove in without getting a ticket and I didn’t see the sign about ticketing. After the gym I discovered I didn’t get the ticket and reported the issue to the gym attendant on duty. The gym attendant gave me a code to give to the customer service when I call the payment machine. On getting to the payment machine, I met a car park attendant lady whom I narrated the issue to and all of a sudden she told me I must pay the fees for not picking a ticket because there is no proof of me going to the gym. I told her I have a code which has been given to me by the gym attendant and if she wants to confirm further I can ask the gym attendant to confirm himself, she started using the F word at me and calling me a d**k head she also started calling me a F**king liar, I warned her not to use those words on me cause if I use such words in return to her she wouldn’t like it. I tried respecting her as a lady but she doesn’t seem to care and she kept on using such languages. I called the customer service on the machine and she wouldn’t even let me speak to them and they hung up. I had to redial the number again and a gentleman attended to me and resolved the issue. This attitude by this car park attendant lady appears to be very rude and a form of bullying as she came to my face in my car shouting on me without even trying to understand the difficulty. I am not happy with the way I was treated in any way.

Parking meter not working app takes twenty minutes to register and the doesnt tell you how to use it! And then it only accepts one vehicle!!! I drive my wife and my own cars -what am I supposed to do. Absolute waste of time
