I doubt NCP pay any attention to these reviews, but I will add my experience nonetheless...... I added a saverID to my account prior to parking as per instructions, but then got charged full price anyway. Tried ringing customer support, on hold for an hour before giving up, tried help centre, no response, used web chat, you guessed it.....

Appeals process is a joke. This bunch of horse thieves are trying to charge me £510 for 3 tickets. I was probably there for 20 minutes on each occasion. I have an elderly relative who had a fall , and had to pick up meds from Boots at Corby Town centre. As usual the keyboard would not work, the keyboard itself covered with all sorts of dirt, (An excellent way of spreading COVID-19) I appealed two of these fines, only had a response back for one, and the third one has recently been added, despite me refusing to use NCP any more. I feel that this company is opportunistic. I am more than happy to pay the flat rate, but as I have told their legal council on the phone, I am not paying this extortionate fine. Come and arrest me and we will get the media involved. Looking at you web site I am not the only one p!55ed off with NCP!

DO PARK AT RICHMOND STATION NCP in LONDON, no staff to help only call button on exit. People are unable to park up as full, after 20 mins of going round and round, unable to park then gave up, they went to the barrier, they refused to let anyone out unless they paid, even though they did not PARK UP. Therefore caused a back log of traffic backing up to level one. People refused to pay , but then had no choice and was FORCED TO PAY This is disgusting, the barriers should have been put up for them, they say registration is taken going in , so they can see people did not PARK UP, was here so called cameras watching, I don't think so. They should have let them let out , instead we had to suffer and be late for our events .

I booked one of the NCP car parks in Birmingham so I could watch the Commonwealth Games. The day of my event was on the same day as the marathon so I used the chat service to ensure that the car park would be open at this time as the Commonwealth Games website warned about road closures etc. I was reassured that the car park would be open and available so I went ahead and booked it. After a long drive I arrived at the car park to find that the road and car park had been closed due to the marathon. I drove around Birmingham and finally found an alternative parking space but the whole ordeal was incredibly stressful and avoidable if they had communicated with me properly. I the submitted a refund form to which I had a response asking for proof of payment etc., I responded to straight away and I am still waiting for my refund 37 days later! I am extremely disappointed that it is taking this long to process a justified refund, and I will be chasing them up until I get my money back.

NCP Northampton - and all numerous machines out of order. My wife attempted to pay via the NCP app and it took her to a fraudulent website which then scammed our credit card account for £50.00. Fraud department of bank thankfully flagged it up and closed the card. Everyone we saw on the Northampton Car Park was totally exasperated with trying to make payment. Strikes me NCP are crooks.

NCP operate the new drop-off parking at Gatwick. They charged me twice on the way in to the airport, and their system for a refund is not user-friendly. On the way, I decided not to pay, as I had already paid twice and showed them the evidence. They would not accept this and changed me a penalty notice. Money, money money, that is all they want. I now know how little they care about their reputation- £15 is what it cost to price their integrity- or lack of it. Avoid using this company.

I dropped someone off at the South Terminal at Gatwick Airport and eventually managed to get onto the NCP website to provide my credit card details to enable NCP to take a payment of £5.00. The money wasn’t taken off my card and as a consequence BW Legal are chasing me for payment of £170.00. I'll avoid all NCP car parks in the future and won't be paying the £170.

Couldn't register on their App or get through on the phone. Spent 3 hours trying to pay for a camera controlled gravel park with no parking spaces marked. Appalling App and customer service. Will never use NCP again!!

App downloaded tried numerous times to register, hopeless. Not working right now, try again. Rubbish set up. Long process had to go direct to pay parking and avoid a fine. Makes you wonder if this is done on purpose?

Oonline advanced booking was smooth and fast. Good value at 3 nights in the centre of London for £75 in high summer. Excellent, easy to contact, 24 hour telephone and online assistance. We parked at Birmingham airport car park terminal 5 whilst on holiday. On driving home we could hear a noise under our Vw transporter. When we got home and checked the brand new spare wheel had been stolen from underneath. The perpetrator had even gone to the trouble of loosely putting the bracket back on so we didn’t notice immediately. As they offer safe secure parking I notified them the day after giving our parking zone to see if they could check cameras. Weeks have now passed by and lots of emails to them but they just ignore. I wouldn’t park here again or recommend. Can’t believe such lack of customer care. Not cheap to park here either!!!

NCP issued me a PCN on 14/5/2019 despite payment being made and me sending them proof in the form of a bank statement. Upon investigation I had inadvertently mistyped a digit in my car registration number and therefore as there was a breach in their Terms and Conditions they sent me a PCN. NCP and their Legal Reprensentatives BWD Legal have made my life hell over the last 3 years, ramping up the costs, phoning me constantly and using scare / harassment tactics and threatening we with Court Action. Well today was my day in court and despite their Solicitor quoting copious case law, which you will also find they do in the correspondence they issue to you, I defended myself successfully and the case re my alleged non payment was dismissed. I'm so relieved but if you have a case like mine whereby you mistyped your registration plate number and they are demanding a PCN payment and threatening you with legal action, you may choose to defend but it has taken its toll on my health in 3 years in attempting to prove I did make payment. For more details see G1DP1C9G NCP v Musson in the Bristol Court.

My husband has just received a fine for £60 for waiting in an area at Chelmsford Railway station for 7 minutes to pick me up from a train. That's ove £8 an hour. He has picked me up from there in the past without being fined abs the sign they said was clearly displayed he did not see as he didn't get out of the car. Skinflints!!

They threatened me with PCN for charging my car and not paying for parking despite there being no signs or info on their website for that car park that I would need to pay for parking - They only care to take your money and don't accept any fault and will reject most if not all appeals.

My car was broken into. My entire back windscreen smashed. I accept that is simply unfortunate however I had paid over £30 for to park there and after asking for a refund they refused. The response took nearly 8 weeks. Appealing business. Next time I’ll pay one tenth of the price to park with an independent. My car will just as likely be broken into but at least I’ll be better off financially by not paying £30.

Sent a final notice but didn't send a standard one to pay the reduced rate if that is still existing? Stayed for 16 min. Will avoid any ncp parking.

I left my car with NCP Birmingham airport valet service. On my return I found that that everything left, in the vehicle, had been stolen (keys, coat, cigarettes, cd’s etc). NCP staff were the only people who had the keys do, as the vehicle had not been broken in too, must have been responsible. I reported it to NCP who just didn’t care and kept fobbing me off. Avoid this car park at all costs!!!

Date now is 19/4/22. On 31/3/22 I parked in the Kings Lynn Church Street NCP and went to pay but the machine was "Out of Service". I found the other machine and went to pay, but again "Out of Service. I took a photo of each machine which clearly showed all the details and advised another driver who was trying to pay to take his own photos. Although I had only used the car park a few times in the last couple of years I still had the memory of April 2020, amidst the pandemic, when I parked there for the reason of collecting a death certificate confirming my father's passing, when I put money in the machine and discovered that it had changed to a cashless system so I then paid by card. I then noticed an attendant going to the other machine and emptying all the cash from it. I was outraged that there was no signs to stop people putting cash in the machines and the money slots were still open. OK I let it go as there were other things to sort out in the pandemic, but it remained clear in my memory which is why I had a feeling of mistrust and took the photos of the Out of Service" machines. On the 14/4/22 I received a £100 PCN showing photos of my car upon entry and exit with the date and times, which of course corresponded exactly with the date and times of the photos of the "Out of Service" machines. The penny dropped, as they say, what a wonderful way of transforming a couple of hours parking charge and increasing it to £100 ( discounted to £60 if paid within 14days ). Obviously I am not after something for nothing and have offered to pay NCP the standard parking charge in the challenge of the PCN. All they have to do it let me know how to pay it. They have the photos and they know that I know.
