“I wanted a courier to pick up two concrete flues for me, stated the dimensions, weight and what they were from the start. When the courier arrived he refused to take them because they were not bubble-wrapped! I mean really! what would bubble wrap do? I couldn't have been clearer about what was being collected so a massive waste of time and I didn't even get a full refund.”
“I arranged collection of a radiator I had bought. The driver arrived but refused to take it because it was not in a box.
It was well wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard.
I tried to contact ParcelHero to ask what options I had, different carrier or whatever but there is no customer service at all. There is a list of questions and answers on the website but if your query doesn't match those given as examples there's nothing you can do, no phone number/online chat, nothing.
My only option was to cancel and I was charged £6 for that.

This is my second experience with ParcelHero. The first time the driver failed to collect four days in a row, each time they rebooked it and each time they again with no warning just failed to turn up. When the item finally arrived it was all smashed up (looked like it had been stood on) but I didn't complain I just left it as by that time I had had enough. SO much time wasted, days taken off work, waiting in. Never again this time, not ever . . . .”
“Prompt collection from myself. Prompt delivery to my parcels destination. Abit pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. I did add parcel protection cost just in case it got damaged rather than lost as I hadn’t used or unwrapped it. Which bumped the price up quite abit.”

Shipped to the US 2 days later and caught up in many delays. I was delivered 7.00 pm UK time 4 days after the planned departure from the UK.
I deserve a refund for the 24 hour commitment.”

“They have taken money from my account for the second time and yet I did not authorise any payment. I will not recommend to anyone. Keep your cards safe you will be charged twice. Thankfully I used credit card and I report them. Check the reviews before making your payments.”
