Shocking service and lack of empathy during a GLOBAL CRISIS. Vouchers purchased as a gift but sadly due to the current pandemic unable to redeem an extension is not available despite most businesses have closed for best part of the year.

Avoid at all cost! Booked online. Said they would phone me to confirm a time slot for the day. No phone call. Got an email allocating a time slot. When I eventually got through to request a change of time as the time slot allocated didn't work at all, told there were no other time slots available. When I asked to cancel the booking, they said fine but no refund. Not worth the hassle.

Ashley wasnt very nice I requested an extension and Ashley at Spabreak has refused. I requested an extension initially that was accepted and now asking for further extension as hotel I wanted to use is closed and just not many choices. Anyway ive been told they wont and just feel with Covid a much longer extension is needed especially with the new Tier system being introduced. I am all for helping companies but it is a two way relationship. If for example they had levied a 25% penalty I wouldnt mind as we all understand times are tough. Rishi

Terrible company - we were lyed to on the phone about what room we had booked and were told we needed to pay more for that room. Got to the hotel and didn't have the room we paid more for. Terrible customer service. Avoid

Don't touch this dreadful company. Still waiting for a refund almost 7 weeks after they promised I would receive one. They will not tell me when I will get it, or permit me to talk to anyone in Finance. Ridiculous and unprofessional. I shall be spreading the message far and wide!

Terrible customer service. I booked a stay with a hotel in Leeds for 24 August, on arrival there had been a COVID case in the hotel so we couldn't stay. I emailed Spa Breaks immediately about this and received no response except for the automatic email. I tried ringing the same week and got no answer. I sent further emails to no response. I finally spoke to someone on 25 September called Barry who said they needed the hotel to confirm and nothing further. After two further emails they did not respond and another phone call with someone who was atrocious and patronising towards me. There was still no response and I have still not received a refund.

So I booked a luxury weekend break for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Turns out Spabreaks didn't book with the hotel, and took my money. Five and a half weeks later, no refund or response to my complaints. £405 a lot of money too. Will be taking this further than here. Disgraceful company.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They have ripped me off. I booked a spa day online over 2 months ago and they cancelled it without telling me. I am STILL waiting for a refund even after filing a complaint. The response I got back after 5 weeks of waiting was ‘we are dealing with it’ and I still haven’t received the refund or any further correspondence 9 weeks later. The customer service is embarrassing and I’m disgusted that they took my money instantly but is taking so long to refund me. I will NEVER book with this company again.

I booked with spabreaks.com on 1st September, paying £474. I then received an email saying the booking was not available and I would be refunded. 22nd September now, and numerous calls, hours spent on hold, emails not answered.. one call handler actually hung up on me! I’m going to the Small Claims Court now. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

The worst company I've ever dealt with, had a booking scheduled for the start of the lockdown which was cancelled and i requested a full refund. Was then called by Fiona Rew in the aftersales team who told me a refund was not an option and they could only hold the funds in credit. I realised I was entitled to a full refund and then contacted them and was completely ignored. Sent multiple messages saying I would have to start a chargeback and still ignored. After my chargeback case has started they are lying to my bank saying I did not respond to their email about my funds being held in credit when clearly they had called me 10mins before the email to tell me that was my only option.

Waited 35 mins for customer service to answer the phone, no apology when answered. After explaining which spa break I was interested in I was placed on hold for 10 mins while he checked with the spa, then he came back to say the break I wanted would cost much more because the room had to be upgraded due to lack of availability on the Friday. I asked him to check if I went a day earlier, another 10 mins and still the room was apparently unavailable and therefore the cost increased. I asked him to check again, for yet another day earlier and was told he would call me back in 15 mins. The call ended after nearly 1 hour - a complete waste of time. It’s now been 1.5 days and still no call back. Luckily I didn’t trust he would call back and got straight on the phone to the spa myself and arranged exactly what I wanted, for a great price, with a lovely lady from the spa hotel. I would never use spabreaks.com again for the awful customer service and plain lying to take more money from you.

Do not use this company, there service is apalling I asked to postpone my spa break due to Clovid 19 prior to lockdown. My e-mail was acknowleded with an automated reply which said that they we working in travel date order and would respond accordingly. I received my e-mail upon return from my break which said that the hotel would not postpone the booking. I have since asked for a copy of the e-mail from the hotel or telephone recording to which their response was too read their terms and conditions. I would never use this company again as it would seem at this time most travel company's are offering refunds and not invoking cancellation charges, but Spabeaks on the other hand only want to keep your money. Hope they can sleep at night when people's lives are in danger?

Booked for a special occasion and due to the Covid 19 pandemic the spa was closed. Spabreaks will not give a refund. They will allow me to book again within 12 months. The point of the booking was the special occasion, another booking is no good to me. The hotel are happy to refund anyone who has paid directly but Spabreaks are not. We haven't received a phone call or any communication from them either, we have had to contact them.

Worst spa experience ever. The hotel and spa were overbooked, felt extremely commercial. The whole experience can only be described as cattle being herded. Too many people for too little facilities. I have left a more detailed review (my longer review goes into detail of a specific hotels very poorly organised spa) with spabreaks and reached out to them twice with no acknowledgement of my complaint. Don’t book with Spabreaks.

Never ever use this company. The Customer Service is appalling. You are ignored and fobbed-off if you have any problem. They just hope you go will go away. The hotel where we were supposed to have our treatments cancelled 1 hour before we were supposed to be there because they had no staff. I have been trying to resolve the issue and eventually asked for a refund and now I am being ignored. As I say DO NOT use this company.

Booked a spabreak for my wife’s 40th birthday and had everything confirmed and we were looking forward to it, I deceived I wanted to add in an extra treatment for my wife and upon contacting the hotel directly to arrange this , when I spoke with them they confirmed I had a booking but they could not honour it as they were all booked up, after explaining that I had a booking and reference they still could not help me, I then contacted spabreaks and explained and they said they would sort it out for me, after a week and only a few days to go until my wife’s birthday they contacted me and were unable to help me and could only offer a refund which left me in limbo and only a few days to try and arrange another booking myself, luckily I managed to sort it all out myself but anyone looking to arrange a spabreak I would advise you to book direct yourself as you will get better service and price, spabreaks just want your card details and couldn’t care about the rest.
