Would rather gouge my own eye out with a rusty spoon than ever have to suffer their chatbot and call centre again. I was “assured” my contract was cancelled in January but got a bill for 3 months just with a threat to call the debt collector if I didn’t pay. I spent the last 3 hours with “Salman” and co on chat bots and the phone to be told I have to pay this and I should “rest assured” now that it’s been properly cancelled. No email to confirm they’ve now properly cancelled it, they refused, and I am unable to access my three account to change the address they are sending the confirmation to as I no longer have access to this number, as I was “assured” it was cancelled several months back. Absolute nightmare situation. Madness. Never ever again. It feels as though three is systemically designed to scam customers. I have been with them 6 years, never missed a payment, absolute pirates.

When having to call 3 customer service I am always tempted to drink a bottle of bleach before I make that call. Hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with

Would give zero stars. My daughter has been a victim of fraud and Three Mobile keep fobing her off! It's been 2 months and she has had a default on her credit file despite notifying them multiple times. They keep saying we'll be in touch in 14 days or we'll phone in 24 hours. In 2 months no one has been in touch. Maybe they're calling the fraudster. Would not recommend in a million years!!!

I regret recently renewing my Three contract for two years. They are the cheapest network for unlimited calls, text & data but with poor signals Each month, their sales team phone me to try to persuade me to sign up to another contract & product. If i phone them about a network problem, after the call that person will be sweet talking me then will ask me to hold the line. I would try and hang up. Why? Because that person had transferred me to the pushy sales team. OMG... they make it difficult to send them an email of a official complaint. You have to give them up to 8 weeks to respond and then you can report the matter to the Ombudsman. They need reporting Yesterday. 31 Oct 2023 i had received a pushy sales call and then the next day. This idiot was not convincing. He sounded Asian, loud and hasty. He said, "mam, I'm calling from 3, pls confirm your contract & your phone details so i can give you 40% off your bill" I said what dribble. What he said. I responded. You'd have my details if you were a genuine caller. Now, i said. I'm going into a meeting. Mam,he said. I'll call you back later. I blocked him Three. When you hear about this review & respond, i hope that your regulators throw the book at you

Both my sister and myself have been overcharged on multiple occasions! with no justification- I highly recommend against three and I would recommend other networks like giff gaff. Three's customer service is beyond horrible. It came to a point that they were unjustly charging my sister and myself roaming charges of £100 approximately a month when roaming wasn't even used

Already left a review in the past about the HUGE price increases from 321 to the new PAYG plan which is so expensive, you can't really use your phone.... This review is a new review on other things. 3 major issues Three is so bad!!! FIRST ISSUE I topped up, didn't get 48 hours free internet. I went on live chat, was PROMISED I would get 48 hours. I said "my account says it expires after 24 hours so how can it last 48 hours" and they said "that's a mistake, it will last 48 hours I promise" Low and behold it expired after 24 hours as I said it would. The person just LIED to me... I was away so I couldn't sit in live chat and I cannot call due to disability, but even if you did call, it is a LONG phone call which you don't have time for when away! That isn't even it! It gets worse. SECOND ISSUE I bought an add on. Used it for most of the month, but on the last 4 days I lost entire PAYG balance! No info as to what it was taken for on my account either! So I had to use live chat as social media can't see your account and they are very inaccessible as you can't email them other than for complaints which take forever to get a reply to. After a very LONG live chat of well over 40 mins answering all this persons questions, many of which were things I had answered 5 times already, the guy said; "we can't refund or apply vouchers to accounts" WHAT?! They STOLE my balance and claimed they couldn't refund it! That isn't even it! By this point I am home now so won't be going outside for months (disabled). The guy said "I can give you 7 days free data but I can't refund" WHAT?! Why would I want 7 days data when I said I am now home, plus how is that even a fair offer when you see how much data addons are. I refused and said "I know you can refund me (they had before as this isn't the first time). I want a refund from the money you stole" Eventually I got a manger after nearly 50 mins. He replied "in this instance we can refund the money taken" So instantly this guy says they can refund after almost an hour of me speaking to the guy that didn't care at all? Dragged it out nearly an hour, lying when they CAN refund!!! Why not straight away? This was wrongly taken money as the staff even said! I had said many times that typing is agony for me and I was very close to passing out, but he still dragged the call out nearly an hour when he could have just refunded. Ofgem don't allow "no refunds" from stolen money. That is theft and if I had reported it to them, they would have agreed which is why I probably got a refund. Shocking. But that isn't even the end of issues! THIRD ISSUE The addon prices for PAYG are completely different when you go buy them. They offer data only addons on their site, but if you log in, they are all including texts and calls so you get much less data at a much higher price. This has been the case for a long time. Update your out of date information on your site. You are misadvertising prices. SUMMARY I couldn't ever recommend Three. PAYG prices are now just astromical with them. You can get less elsewhere. Their customer service is shocking. You can't email them and have either phone (which has long waits) or live chat (which takes an hour to get a resolution) and that is it! Being chronically ill and disabled, I cannot sit on the phone for that long and speaking is often impossible for me, nor can I type for long as it is agony and I can be left bedbound for weeks. Live chat is awful as you won't get a resolution for a long time and when you are finished, they try to sell you things. But the customer service is shocking. Being chronically ill and disabled, I hate there is ZERO ACCESSIBILITY. They won't give you an email address to contact if you ask for "reasonable adjustments" as per the equality act, even though it is the law to try to offer alternatives if disabled people have issues contacting you. So you can type for an hour as it is always about an hour due to their staff's customer service skills, or you can physically speak for an hour. Something I cannot due again due to disability. Very innaccessible. Disability unfriendly. Bad customer support

I had a mobile contract with them 2 years ago when it finished I went with someone else it took me 4 weeks to get rid of them and get my pac number from them after numerous telephone live chats I ended everything with them last week I checked my bank statements to find that they have still been taking taking my dd My fault should of check the statements I know anyway I called the bank to cancel and they gave me a refund of £349 tonight I get a email from three saying that I owe them £349 and they are sending debt collectors to me as I haven’t paid my bill !!! Slightly strange as this is the first email I’ve had from them in two years !!! And a week after I’ve cancel my direct debit ???if anything they owe me money !! I’m shocked that it’s took 2 years to contact me if they think I owe them money and one email threatening debt collectors I’m in the middle of the battle with them and being passed from pillar to post and waiting in que after que trying to sorting this out two years after I cancelled my contract if you google it you find 100 of 3 customers all has similar experience with this shambles of a company there customer service is shocking they lie constantly I will advise how I get on I find all this so unsettling and upsetting and I’m not letting them get away with the way I’ve been treated I shall keep you posted !! But please please If your thinking of going with 3 mobile don’t like me you will end up regretting it years later ! Someone seriously needs to be held accountable for this company’s actions Round two !!! After putting I a formal complaint I finally got someone from three who I thought had an ounce of common sense abs could help me !! Nope wrong again !!! She told me that I would have to pay a final bill !!!! For a phone I new nothing about after I questioned her she said it was just what she has to send and my final bill had been sorted by three (am I supposed to be greatfull) !!!! And she would contact the debt company and get the debt cancelled thankgod for that I thought all sorted !!! Nope today I received a letter from the debt company chasing the debt !!! So I called them and after a phone conversation with them this debt is not going away And I need to pay it and then get the money back from three 😂 if u can’t even get a sensible answer from them how you supposed to get £349 from them ive agreed to Pay just because I don’t want debt Coll at my door and the amount getting higher and never been in debt before it’s scary !! So to cap ive paid for a phone for 2 years that ive never had used or owned !! I cancelled the dd with the bank get my own money back and now I’m paying £349 to the local debt company for the same phone that ive still never had still never used and still no nothing about !! This is a joke I’m still in contact with three complaints dept but you might as well email Father Christmas for all the lies and help they are so ive now gone to the omnibus as advised by the debt people cause they were very helpful and see if that helps don’t answer this review with get in touch we three we will help you cause it’s absolute load of rubbish your seriously making me ill with all the worry and people need to be made aware of your horrific mobile phone company as it seems from reading all the other reviews it’s not just me I intend to write my review on every social network review platform I can find and report you to every platform I can !! 😡😡😡😡😡

The worst provider ever. My phone was lost in September 2023. I'm using my sons phone at present. I reported my phone right away and asked three to black list my phone. It was done. I then got hold of my insurance company who requested I send my IMEI number. Proof if purchase, proof of barring etc . Three sent this however in the process the insurane company (natwest bank) requested i sent both imei numbers. I told three this snd they sent me a letter but was missing a lot of information. During this time I had to change my number due to a stalker. I did so through three then requested I get a letter that has all the insurance company requests. Again I was sent a letter with missing information I have not used my sim card from September 2023 till now Aprip 2024. I call to explain to three every other day that the proof you sent is not correct please correct it. But the same cycle keeps repeating itself where they promise to fix it but do not fox the issues. I have spent hours on the phone with three for months now yet they keep getting it wrong.. I'm so annoyed I have refused to pay my bills until its resolved. Infact I will be terminating all my contracts because this is ridiculous. I have recideed all my calls with them and rest assured I will be taking it to the ombudsman. How can I repeat myself every 2 days and get the same letter with the wrong information. I have even gone to three shop 4 times yet no help. Since September 2023 ???? How ridiculous is that . They keep saying they emailed me but I jave no emails from them apart from bills. I looked into my junk mail etc yet nothing.

Please avoid at all costs their customer service is truly awful. I am trying to get out of a contract that ended in July 2023 they just keep charging me and then lie that I have asked to cancel. Honestly I have never dealt with a company this bad please save your grief and go elsewhere.

I have been trying to cancel my account… I have been trying to cancel my account with three for several months. I left the UK several years ago and contacted them multiple times to cancel. I no longer have the SIM, don’t even know the old phone number and don’t have access to the old email. As such I am unable to be validated by an OTP to close the account. Despite being formally informed to close the account - three just won’t. I even closed the bank account t which finally prompted them to send an overdue payment letter to my old address which was kindly forwarded to me. I then again contacted three and spent 1hr trying to get them to close the account. And they won’t! What a disastrous company!!!

Was told twice over the phone my plan was closed before I took out a new deal only to find they were still charging for the old plan costing me over £600 when contacted they denied the phone conversation didn't go near them

Phoned several times and tried my best to understand the person on the other end but struggled. I had to change my plan by the 28th Feb otherwise I would go on a monthly plan. I was cut off several times and unable to keep calling due to work. Now I've gone past the 28th and I'm on a monthly plan. Not happy at all.

Nightmare on Queensway - My Horrendous Experience with Three Phone Service Two and half years ago, I made a grave mistake that haunts me to this day – stepping foot into a Three phone store on Queensway in Bayswater, London. Little did I know, I was about to embark on a journey of deception, incompetence, and sheer frustration. The salesman, if you could even call him that, was nothing short of a con artist and a swindler. With a silver tongue and deceitful promises, he convinced me to sign up for a phone service package that included a main number and three additional SIM cards, all for a whopping £100 per month. Little did I realize that this would be the beginning of my descent into telecom hell. Firstly, the salesman failed to even bother collecting my email address, resulting in me never receiving a contract or a bill throughout the entirety of my two-year tenure with Three. Talk about shady business practices. To add insult to injury, he erroneously assigned one of the SIM numbers as my main number, rendering my actual main number practically useless. This blunder led to a myriad of problems over the years, complicating communication and causing endless headaches. But the nightmare didn't end there. Despite being situated in the heart of London, the service provided by Three was abysmal, to say the least. My apartment might as well have been a black hole for reception, with my kids refusing to even touch the extra SIM cards due to their utter uselessness. Meanwhile, my American phone with T-Mobile enjoyed stellar reception, leaving me baffled as to how a UK-based provider could fail so miserably. Fast forward to last November when I finally decided to pull the plug on this debacle of a contract. Despite explaining my predicament and expressing my desire to terminate the contract, the customer service team displayed nothing short of incompetence and hostility. They not only failed to close down the main number and one of the SIMs as requested but also had the audacity to accuse me of lying about ever contacting them to cancel the contract when I called them in febraury after discovering that they had charged me £100 pounds 2 months after closing down the contract??? It's as if Three is operating in some alternate reality where customer satisfaction is a foreign concept. They continue to charge me unjustly, dragging their feet in closing down my contract while I'm left in a state of perpetual frustration. Attempting to reach customer service has proven to be an exercise in futility, as the only numbers I can recall from the four provided are mysteriously absent from their system. It's Kafkaesque, reminiscent of a scene straight out of "Brazil." Three is not just a phone service provider; it's a cautionary tale of corporate greed and customer neglect. If you value your sanity and hard-earned money, steer clear of Three at all costs. As for me, I'll be taking them to court in a last-ditch effort to escape this ongoing nightmare. Three, consider yourself on notice – your days of preying on unsuspecting customers are numbered. In the meantime I switched to EE which is perfect in every possible way you could dream of how a phone service should operate.

After nearly 18 months of complaints and troubleshooting without resolution to awful network service and several hours on the phone to a support team who would not faithfully acknowledge the issues I was having. Three finally cancelled my contract and waived the cancellation fee. UPDATE: January 2024. Despite promising that my account would be cancelled without charge, and confirming on the phone that I would not be charged. Three charged me a £212 cancellation fee over Christmas. I had to wait a FULL MONTH to be refunded an amount I should not have been billed for in the first place. From network to administration, this is a shamefully poorly run company and I implore others to avoid at all costs.

FURTHER UPDATE: THREE continue to harass me with constant text messages most of which are trying to entice me to stay. I've told them to stop messaging me. They refused! So everything I got one of these, I messaged their executive team. They responded by having Scott from their well-being team who deals with vulnerable and disabled customers get in touch to see how he could help. Apparently, the repeated 'Stop contacting me' message hasn't come through properly. UPDATE: Called back to try bribing me with 25 and 50 piund payments but werent able to assure me customer service wouldnt continue to lie. I told them i was not interested. He closed the complaint as resolved despite me pointing out it was very much not resolved and marking it so suggests no learning will come of it. They have hounded me with text messages and emails today. When i was forced to call customer service to tell them to stop, they refused. I contacted the Executive Team. They responded saying they trust I'm happy now the matter is resolved. Three teach their customer service reps to lie to customers when they make a mistake. I paid extra for an upgraded phone to be delivered on a Saturday. It didn't arrive. Neither did any dispatch notifications. On Monday morning I called Three and was told it would be delivered that day and I'd receive a message to select a delivery time slot. No apology was made or explanation given for why it wasn't delivered and no offer to refund the fee paid to specify Saturday delivery. Delivery was free for weekday delivery. I waited for a notification as promised but by 4pm I thought I better call them. For 40 minutes, I was lied to about them checking a DPD tracking number, checking with other departments and given promises that conflicted with what I was told in the morning. When I asked for the tracking number they admitted they didn't have one. I was put on hold 4 times and each time the poor woman came back, it was with another lie about the status of my phone delivery. I was transferred to another woman who - only once pushed, admitted the phone hadn't been processed for delivery. I was told I would get a message in 48 hours telling me when it would be delivered (a few days before Christmas). I would find out WHEN it was being dispatched 5 days after it was due for delivery! As she confirmed my phone hadn't yet been dispatched, I asked to terminate my Three contract which runs out this month. She refused in case I receive and keep the phone they haven't sent me!!! Sadly, this is not the first customer service issue I've had with Three. After my 14 year old son died, I tried to terminate his phone contract. They again lied repeatedly month after month that the account had been closed only for a monthly direct debit to come through for six long months. There was zero understanding of how distressing it was to have to explain about losing my son over and over again just to be disregarded with no empathy at all.

DON NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They give really bad service, I had bad signal for months, until I actually lost all internet and conection FOR DAYS, and I use it for work. After hours and hours of calls they accepted to end my agreement, although they wanted me to pay for leaving earlier. At least, they agreed as I had absolutately NO INTERNET (i even bought a new phone), to let me end the agreement without paying. And 1 month later I received a request of money that I owed them, though I had a written message from them that I didn’t owe anything else. I called them (AGAIN) and they told me I was right and all was settled. Next, I started receiving calls, mails and SMS from a debt company, telling me I owed the money. Incredible! I have had to pay, obviously, an ammount I didn’t owe, after paying a lot for a service I never had. I think I have never seen a worst service. They only have 1 star reviews, wonder why…
