I used the guidance to rate my phone as "good" and got a quote of £139 so I sent it off. The response I got was a video of NOT MY PHONE, a judgement of "damaged" and a revised quote of £10. My phone is a Samsung and the video was of an Apple phone so I immediately emailed them and they said they'd pause the transaction and get me a quote with my actual phone. After 30 days I hadn't heard anything so I emailed them and they replied with a video of my phone showing there are some scratches on the screen (I hadn't noticed them) but they said the original judgement of "damaged" was still justified. I looked up the terms and conditions and having some imperceptible scratches on the screen could demote it to "pretty good" but not damaged. My phone isn't broken it works fine, I just got an upgrade. I queried how they came to this conclusion and they said the original assessment stood because it was in such bad condition - I honestly don't know what phone they were looking at for that assessment but it can't have been my phone. I accepted that it might not be worth the full £139 but I pointed out the original assessment had been done on the wrong phone and asked them to reassess it or send it back to me. They said no to reassessing it and asked me to pay to get it sent back. They quoted the terms and conditions about a fee to return the phone if the quote isn't accepted. So I quoted the part of the terms and conditions where they say they are liable for negligence which is exactly what they've been. They have sent it back to me without a fee. My phone has arrived back way more scratched than it was when I sent it off and I do not recommend anyone using this company at all. I would always take anyone saying their phone was in good condition with a grain of salt, because of course people would want as much as they can get right? In this instance they took a phone that worked fine and matched all the criteria of "pretty good" and tried to get me to accept it was "damaged" and in the process they lost my phone for a month and have returned it in a worse condition than it was sent. Absolutely not worth the time.

Was offered £151 for my iPhone 12 mini which was in excellent condition’ however after they checked it and sent some video of a badly scratched phone offering me £80 which I refused and asked for the phone to be returned. The company are absolute scammers who have no intention of paying the price quoted’ would recommend to anyone do not send these absolute scammers your phone as the obviously send videos of some old phone and try to fob you off with a lower price. Absolutely shocking they can get away with this.

Offered £295 for iPhone 12 Pro in good condition, sent the phone in and received a revised quote for £195 due to wear on the rear glass and screen also wear to bezel (rear glass was replaced by apple two months ago) I would stay away from them as they are just scamming people , hoping they accept the low ball amount offered because they dont want to mess around getting their phone back for £10!

Complete Scammers. Sent off a brand new phone and having offered me £150, they told me it was worth £20... They then said they were sending it back for a £10 charge! Absolute joke, and the fact they sign you up to a direct debit is ridiculous. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This company should be taken down given how many people they have clearly scammed!

Absolute Jokers Essentially there business model is :- Quote High>>>>>> Test model and pick up any minor mark and kick it in the nuts>>>>>>New Valuation and get you all excited that we will pay you your reduced fee that day. Knowing most people cannot be arsed to have phone sent back. Essentially rob your phone for a silly price. Do not use as they will find annnnnnnny excuse not to pay you the full amount. Avoid like the plague. I just hope I’ve saved other people from the experience we have had. Rob dogs.

Absolute crooks. I was offered £152 for my phone in ‘good’ condition, which it was, sent it in and they came back with a counter offer of £25. When I asked for my then back they said it would cost &10 to send it back… but would I settle for £35? I’m sure they will comment on this about their rigorous testing process or ‘honesty policy’ or some other such nonsense below this… but the truth of the matter is, they never had any intention of paying what they said they would - and in fact their whole business model is built on this bait and switch approach.

I quite agree with the last review. SCAMMERS gave me a price of £150, I sent the iPhone to them and they revised their offer to 50% of their original offer. I insisted they return my device

Absolute scam! Was offered nearly £400 for my iphone 13 pro max which is in excellent condition. Theyve sent me a video of a phone which is not mine with scratches all over it and a chipped camera. Now offering me £145?! Wish I read reviews as I now have to pay for them to return my phone, hoping they actually return my one and not the faulty one theyve sent videos of. Avoid at all costs!!!

Was offered a price from a price by this company for my iPhone 11 Pro Max which is, in my opinion, in great condition with 97% battery health, had a case on entire life and some minor screen scratches that does not effect the phone at all. This company received my phone and said that there was significant wear on the device, reducing my quote from £230 to just £35 for a phone I know is in great condition. An insulting and quite frankly stupid price given the market value. There’s no easy way to decline the offer, only to accept it via a portal. You have to get in contact with the company to decline at which point they will offer you slightly more, for me it was £10 extra. To add insult to injury they then charged me £11 to send my phone back to me, despite price compassion sites they partner with stating you can “request” your phone to be sent back free of charge. You can request, but they won’t oblige. It was the festive period so I accept the delay in replies which took a couple of days to my emails but quite frankly I will NEVER use this company again and have had far better experiences with other trade in companies. I would recommend avoiding and going to a more honest and honourable company.

I recently upgraded my phone and sought to sell my old one. I normally use mazuma as they have always been good but webuyanyphone offered about £45 more for trade in so I stupidly went with them. Mazuma have NEVER knocked me down on 4 trade ins. This company received my phone which was in PERFECT condition as always in full body case. They stated there were three marks on it which is a lie and knocked over £100 off the trade in price quoted. I have the original box and the wires were still in their original sleeve. I kept the original screen stickers and put them back on. I’m a geek I know but you could have nearly sold this as a new phone. To have £100 knocked off the price as well as taking a week to sort and me having to chase them, they finally gave me a knocked Down pay out. I wish I stuck with my normal trade In company. AVOID this company.

Scam …. Sent an immaculate iPhone 12 - hardly used as it was an extra - was sent to them in box - brand new charger cable - they reduced their offer by two thirds and when I declined their offer and paid to have it returned they had purposely damaged it by scratching it all over and denting the corners - I will be contacting trading standards …. Avoid these people at all costs
