“Don’t call this company on its 0844# as your waiting for over 30 mins stuck at number 2 in the que then when you get to number 1 your there for a further 20 mins, not happy at all.
My delivery is for Saturday, today and I’ve not been given a time slot!!!

“The promised Monday afternoon delivery never arrived, nor the next day, nor the next promised day. Delivery after stated slot time was on Thursday evening. All attempts at communication were ignored by XDP. The scruffy courier(( no i.d.,logo,uniform etc..) was extremely rude and aggressive and dashed off in his beat up 9 year old white van without waiting for a signature. The supplier did his best all week to no avail. Of course, like most businesses and general public, we might check on the supplier but never the courier used; we all just assume they are overworked professionals doing a difficult job led by a professional management team. Our experience showed that XDP were worse than a 3 legged camel in the Sahara being led by a one brain celled amoebia.”

“XDP has failed to deliver the parcel. It now claims that an attempt to deliver was made. Perhaps the driver left the depot with the item, but the driver did not come to my house. I was in all day, and waiting close to the front door with sight of the garden path. No driver appeared. This is a truly dreadful company which also goes out of its way to hide its email address. I've complained to the client of XDP who hired its services.”
“What a joke that company is ! Did not deliver parcel, I know as I was waiting all day. Communication is a disaster, fed full of lies, you do not know what to believe. Finally tried to blame me for not being at home. STAY AWAY !!!!”
“What an absolute joke of a logistical company! If I could give a zero star rating that is what they would get. They constantly fail to deliver our parcels when planned, with no update and a telephone system designed to put you off talking to them, which is not surprising as no doubt all the call handlers would be off with depression from the complaints of poor service. Emails regularly get ignored with no response at all.
When they do manage to get here with a delivery they are often damaged due to shockingly poor self employed couriers or even worse they are left out in the rain (despite a huge sign on our shop window to leave it with a business on the same site). The vans that deliver are often resemble a washing machine on wheels, with the unsecure parcels strewn all over. Items are often thrown around to get to my parcel, so this is most likely the cause of the foot prints and dent marks to the parcels that I receive.
To think that I pay inflated shipping rates for my supplier to use XDP as their chosen courier is an absolute joke. As a business owner I would never wish XDP on anybody, customer or competitor!”

Only Premium-rate Customer Service number is available. Finally got through after 10 minutes. They claimed to have tried to pick up (I know for sure they did not) and said the collection would have to be re-booked for the following day. Hung up on me when I said this was not good enough.
How XDP are still in business is a mystery- perhaps it's the profits from the premium-rate customer service numbers?
I run my own company and regularly use TNT/Fedex, DHL, Hermes, UPS and other courier companies with no problems. I urge you to do the same. AVOID XDP!”

nice staff though who personally tried to help but eventually told me to go back to the supplier for replacements.

“Sadly I was unable to give no stars. Waited in for these absolute cowboys after taking the day off work just to have a card shoved throu my door to say they weren't able to deliver. Driver clearly made no effort to deliver and when I called the depot, after waiting for an eternity I was put into a very very rude customer services operator who blamed me and then hung up on me. i then tried the live chat option where I once again had a rude operative who refused to give me any of the info I requested i.e. phone numbers or email address and simply insisted it was my fault and would have to reschedule for another day at my own expense as the driver is so useless he won't come back to fullfil the deliver he failed on. Absolute waisters, steer clear”
“Arguably the worst existing delivery company in the UK. On the first day of planned delivery, after being notified by a noreply text that it would take place between 1: 30pm and 4:30pm; nothing was delivered. There was no communication about the failed delivery and I had taken some time off work. I sent them an email and received no reply. After a dozen phone calls on the 3rd day, the delivery was finally dumped on the front door some time after 5pm. No apology in any shape or form.
The communication and customer service is exceptionally poor.”
“If it was possible to give -1 star I would.
I bought a bed on eBay, it was supposed to be delivered by XDP. I took a day off work to make sure I'm in on the designated delivery day. They gave me two hours slot, but nothing was delivered, nobody knocked at my door, no card was left. Next day when I tracked it, it said that delivery will be attempted in the afternoon. Again, took another day off but unfortunately nothing was delivered again. I called customer service and was told the driver was at my address twice, he even took a picture of the bottom door. Didn't bother to come upstairs to my flat to let me know he was there though. Trying to explain to customer service that I had no way of knowing they were outside my building because they didn't come up proved impossible. When I got frustrated they become patronising telling me there is no need to shout. The result is they re-scheduled the delivery for next Thursday. My only worry is that the story will repeat and the item will eventually be sent back to the seller. Is it really that hard to understand the driver has to come up to tell me when he is there otherwise so I can come down to get it? Just to highlight they deliver but DO NOT carry anything to your flat. Customer service treats you like you are pain in the butt, simply there is no winning with them.”
“What a joke. I am only giving 1 star as there is no option for zero! Unfortunately I bought 2 produces which use XDP. On both occasions the delivery was not made when scheduled. Live chat was a joke. No one answers the phone and on both occasions, the online tracker stated as delivered when no one even drove past let a lone delivered! The it started a card was left which it clearly wasn't either... Painful and very frustrating on both occasions... If you can use someone else, do it!”

“How in the name of God hasn't this company gone under? I am 53 and have been a homeowner for more than 30 years. I buy lots on the internet and this company is worse than every other delivery company I've ever dealt with put together. It is absolutely abysmal. They say they're coming to deliver and lie that their attempt failed and they put a card through the door (When you've been in all day waiting for them in your living room and know they haven't set foot near your property) Then, with us, they were meant to deliver a replacement piece of furniture after they damaged the original in their warehouse, they did finally turn up the day after we expected them, but the driver said he didn't know anything about taking the damaged item away as our furniture company had arranged. We got in touch with our furniture supplier and they spoke to XDP, where the driver's story changed and he had 'just forgotten to bring the paperwork for the collection'. They were supposed to come today but of course haven't. And good luck getting touch with them! They ignore emails, don't answer the phone, which they charge you a fortune for calling and if you get to speak to someone on 'Live Chat' you are tearing your hair out by the end. I spoke to 'Madison' who failed to understand what I told her. And, after I explained that we had had a replacement item delivered and needed the damaged item taking away again, as arranged by our furniture company, she said 'but you had it delivered yesterday' so I had to explain all over again that, yes, we did have an item delivered yesterday but the faulty item was supposed to be taken away at the same time or today with the collection arranged by our furniture supplier. The penny finally dropped with her but she then informed me that our furniture supplier hadn't made a collection claim. I told her that they had and they had told the driver, even, to expect the furniture item to be ready out in the front garden. But she just repeated that they hadn't made any arrangements at all. And in closing! Whatever this company delivers to your home I would suggest you don't let them take it into any room. The men who brought our bedroom furniture destroyed our newly decorated walls on the stairs, literally took the paint off all the way up, down to the plaster. They have no respect for your property whatsoever. The sooner this company goes under the better. It quite simply doesn't deserve to be in business.”

“XDP driver delivered a bed bought new on eBay and left it with a ‘neighbour’ in the wrong street! Their communication and efforts to resolve this were pathetic and resulted in me going to the address to get a phone number from the occupant to try to resolve the issue myself. The suppliers eventually sent one of their own drivers to collect and deliver, so xdp didn’t even take responsibility and see the problem through. Awful service.”
