We recently used the short-stay car park which we had booked online with no difficulty. Upon arriving at the car park the number plate recognition system didn't work. The machine advises you to press the 'assistance' button rather than press for a ticket, which we did. It took at least 10 minutes for someone to answer and they were rather abrupt and not particularly helpful. Upon our return from holiday, we then had to seek further assistance in order to validate the ticket so we were able to exit the car park. Not exactly the start or finish to our holiday we'd been hoping for. Disappointing!

I nearly missed my flight as security is an absolute joke more like what to expect from 3rd world counties. To charge passengers £3 to bypass the inadequate and futile. Security is paramount to armed robbery. Sort your security and we wouldn't need to use fast track

On the day of our flight 17th Oct , the lounge was closed & Service Air had made no other arrangements for us.

Bought this last week because the previous week I had waited 1 hour (yes - 60 minutes) to clear security. (One m/c out or order as usual the security staff spending their time panning their shift rota and tea breaks) This week no queue - so a waste of money. But I did wait 40 minutes for a taxi on sunday after the last bus had left at 23:00 This is simply not an international aiport

When I tried to exit the car park the barrier would not lift and I was informed I need to pay and additional fee of over £100. I called for assistance and after several minutes I was informed I had booked short stay and had parked in the wrong place. I advised the person on the other end of the phone that I had booked priority and was asked if I had my booking with me. Luckly I did have my booking with me although it was in my luggage. A member of staff came out to look at my booking and confirmed to the barrier operator that I had indeed booked priority. This all took some 15 minutes however even after this the barrier failed to lift taking two further attempts before it did so.

terrible idea and system to buy priority security. slow awkward and cumbersome, at least add paypal payment method. typically the only time i need it is when i arrive and find a massive que which isn't that often. so when i arrived monday to find a massive que having to do it via website with dredit card on my phone in the hall took nearly as long as waiting in the big que. it was hassle enough when the machine was there and it was credit card only, it should have been cash or card. now that its online its a complete pain. please at least revert to the old system as an option to buying online as this system is just not user friendly.

I payed for this while at the airport by the time you emailed the access code I was in departures so it was a waist of time and money

Very disappointed. Car was fine & all went well until I went to leave & was charged £60.90 at the barrier! Did I visit the wrong car park? It was the one in front of the main entrance. Dear Mr Mathers The issue was that you had booked the Short Stay car park, but you then entered the Priority car park. Bookings are only valid for the car park chosen when you book in advance.

I WAS FOUR HOURS LATE BACK DUE TO FLIGHT ISSUES. i WAS CHARGED AN ADDITIONA £23.00 WHICH DOESNT SIT WELL.

Dear Mr Barnes Please accept my apologies, the system has not recognised your exit time correctly. We work in twenty four periods and your booking was for two days, your total time in the park was 36 hours. I have refunded £23.00 back to the card used to make payment at time of exit. Our team are on the car park 24/7 and would be happy to assist with any issues experienced in the car park. I hope you will use our service again in the future.

My car number plate was not recognised when I arrived because I booked the night before. I was told to take a ticket any way and it took along time and a lot of discussion with staff to get out of the car park on my return.

Good Morning Mr Baxter Apologies for the inconvenience, as discussed over the telephone there was a technical issue affecting our systems. This meant bookings made on Sunday were not transferred to the car park correctly. I have refunded the rate of £46.00 you paid to exit the car park. We have staff available 24/7 on the car park that are happy to assist with any issues. Thank you for your feedback.

We don't go away through the airport very often but this is the second time that despite having booked online in advance we can't get out of the car park ,can't get anyone to speak on the intercom so have to try to find our way back to the pay desk to get the ticket sorted we double checked our booking after we came home and our details were all correct,so what's the point in using your car park when there are cheaper options,all be it not so close but maybe better organised!

Dear Mrs Lawie I'm sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with our service. I have checked the parking system and unfortunately the ANPR system has not recognized your plate correctly, in this case misreading the first letter as a one instead of the letter I. The intercom system is queued and which can sometime lead to slight delays as the queue is worked through. If you are using the same number plate for any future bookings may I suggest entering the letter I as the number one, the system should then recognize you automatically. Thank you for your feedback

Parked at short stay car park for convenience. Having pre-paid they tried to charge me a further £22 to leave the car park. Customer service un-interested and unhelpful.

The car park is very conviently located a short distance from the terminal, the main downside is unfortunately the price.

Easy to book and the service desk were very helpful. An improvement will be to include instruction for the ticket on arrival on the website or confirmation email. This will prevent pressing the button for a ticket on arrival, which may often be the case for first time users, even though the instruction is on the machine. Most first timers will not look out for that instruction.

This lounge was a disgrace, a rip off and not as advertised on the website . . . very misleading. I emailed a complaint a week ago and I'm still awaiting an acknowledgement/response/refund. Speaks volumes really!
