The quote was renewed more or less seamlessly, however confusion on the payment premium been quoted differently should have been managed better.

why are minor illnesses and discomforts that last from a few days to a week or two still included years and years later even though no claims have ever been made for them (nor for anything else) very frustrating As I have never made any claim in all the years I have been with them I cannot comment on that side of things

I'm not sure what the broker adds to this process. My premiums continue to rise with insufficient explanation. Most questions are referred to the insurer. I do not believe that the broker was on my side. Communication seemed difficult. Holidays on my part and a local fire on yours did not help. Timed call backs did not happen. Email could have been used to better effect. As a broker there are are policy providers that you do not deal with e.g. Saga. This limits you effectiveness On the positive side Kim remained pleasant and willing to help despite my obvious irritation

Poor help. I replied to the email notifying me that someone had been trying to contact me. I asked several questions about my policy but no reply received. I did not receive a renewal notice through the post either!

The cover meets the needs but the premiums are very high compare with other like for like providers.

I received my paperwork from Exeter and agreed the renewall before I heard from Active Quote. I hope my increased premium is not linked to anything Active Quote should be doing. Next year I will look elsewhere as this policy has now become VERY VERY EXPENSIVE!!!

I had trouble speaking to Jamie Warburton despite leaving a voice message for him to call me back. I eventually spoke to one of his colleagues who was helpful but was unable to reduce the increased premium being quoted by BUPA for my renewal.

Whilst the premium shows only a modest increase from last year I wonder if Active Quote attempted any negotiation from the original platform level? My Partner also has a Policy with AVIVA through Active Quote and other Specialist Advisors who also apparently have a good connection with AVIVA believe that the Premiums quoted are open for negotiation, without reducing the cover detail, etc. The point being, is the whole Premium level too high for the level of risk to AVIVA?

Two points. The renewal letter from AVIVA is dated several weeks earlier than the date on which it reached me? Therefore little chance to think about the terms in advance of the renewal date. Secondly, because of an ongoing requirement to visit my specialist consultant (6 monthly) I have no choice but to stick with AVIVA as, either restricted cover or no cover would be obtainable elsewhere. Therefore AVIVA have me over a barrel on the premium front and effectively they can name their price.

Nothing clearly explained as to what you exactly do and how it makes a difference? How are you funded? No one came back to me regarding if there was a policy out there better for me and cheaper?

Overall 3 stars. My policy renewal date is in early January and I was contacted too close to the renewal date to allow for a proper review of my policy needs. A letter from my insurers dated 16th Nov was forwarded to me on 23rd Dec and arrived on 3rd Jan leaving only 4 working days before my renewal date. I was contacted by phone between Christmas and New Year by Abbey who was friendly and helpful but the whole process was too rushed. Allowance should be made for public holidays in future.

I gave this review 3 stars rating it normal, however I could have given it less as initial phone call to me indicated that I was paying £132 for 2013/2014 and I was now going to be paying £130 for 2014/2015 resulting in a reduction in my payments also I was informed that I had made an amendment to policy in January 2014 neither of these statements was correct and I informed lady of this and she said she would call me back, I feel this happened due to lack of preparation of my case on behalf of caller. When call back came following day caller recoqnised her failure previous day and informed me that I was correct in informing her payment information was incorrect, and she now informed me instead of a reduction in my 2014/2015 payments as previously informed there was now an increase in these payments which I have accepted also the amendment she referred to was made not by me but by active quote as a result of active quote making error in my address. As I was asked to give a fair assessment of this process this I believe is what I have done and I would hope this will assist in future contacts. Jim Heffron

As I already had the quote from my health insurance I did not feel that I needed the services of Active quote this year. I didnt receive any communication from them until 2 days before the due date of the policy so would not have had time to shop around anyway.
