***AVOID AT ALL COST!!** Dealt with Daniel in setting up a policy with Bupa in November which when I contacted Bupa about today, doesn’t exist with Bupa!!! No money take from my account, hence chasing Daniel at Active Quote and escalating to his manager Sian to confirm if any policy in place?? Both ignored these email requests n consequently , after chasing these people for two months whilst still believing a policy was in place, I find out today from Bupa that there is no policy!!! AVOID!!!!!!!

Active Quote provided me with a quote stating that the Sickness Insurance policy had "Day 1 wait period". I therefore took out the policy on the basis that the wait period was 1 day. When I went to make a claim recently the Insurer told me that the wait period was actually 30 days so I was unable to claim. This policy was mis-sold due to Active Quote having stated the wait period incorrectly. Their website and quote made absolutely no reference to the 30 days, and as it was so clearly stated by them as being 1 day I didn't check further documentation that arrived after the policy had started. Stating that they didn't provide advice is no defence as they did provide the information about the policy that was wrong which constitutes mis-selling. It is terrible that they fail to take any responsibility for providing incorrect information! The Financial Ombudsman has now assessed my complaint and made their initial ruling in my favour, agreeing that ActiveQuote mis-sold my policy by providing incorrect information, and directing ActiveQuote to refund all premiums that I paid with interest.

STAY FAR AWAY. They miss lead you and twist and turn the truth. for example in the extended cover in a policy I wanted to take out, there caller at active quote told me that chronic conditions where covered, diabetes, high blood pressure . but when I read the fine details it stated it will only cover flare ups of the condition, in hospital. and further more they specified in the document they do not cover diabetes. AVOID AVOID AVOID. LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY TWIST THE TRUTH SO THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH FAULS ADVERTISEMENT !!!!! AND IF YOU ANSWER A CALL FROM SOMEONE CALLED Alex Seaton. Avoid, incredibly rude, un professional, a sleazy car sales man!!!!

During the initial sales / quote call things looked like they were going to go smoothly. However, after all that was dealt with replies to emails took forever and I got excuse after excuse for late replies and lack of progress with my health insurance quote. I wouldn't use their services again.

I have just dialled to this company and Mr Iqbal has answered who didn't know his colleague. It seemed a bad organising. I should say to this company's poor manager who need to organising a training to the receiptionist to find their colleagues easily form their name.

Asked for a renewal quote but was directed elsewhere to a different insurance provider. I had to call my existing provider Aviva directly to get a reasonable re quote. Stay away from Active quote, broker needs to be fired. Broker did not advise as to how to reduce the premium with the current provider ie health questionnaire.

Avoid at all costs. Typical bait and switch tactics and claim there was an error. I purchased a policy for £22 only to be advised a "glitch" meant it was actually £32. In my opinion a bunch of charlatans. Do not use. Go to insureres directly.

Have received nothing but terrible service from Activequote sadly. They completely screwed up a simple transfer to a new provider leaving my daughter with no cover for a pre-existing condition. This was investigated but despite email records and voice recordings confirming there mis-selling they were unable to sort out. I'm sure they are capable of better but this was a sad episode. My latest renewal has somehow gone through without a single contact from them. They now appear to be collecting commission for doing absolutely nothing.

After requesting no further call backs pushing a quote I have still received numerous calls. I am not impressed. The initial form appeared to be for co op with all its branding. But was actually this website who have chased and chased. And do not listen to the client.

They set up my insurance incorrectly and now won’t talk to me or return emails (two months) to reimburse me for the lost cover from a claim. I can’t get any contact.

I have called you, left the message but no one called back to date... this is what you called a service, as far as we are concern, your company is ONLY interested in your COMMISSION from the insurance company. Never again will be buying another policy from you....

Although my policy was originally through ActiveQuote, this year at renewal they never bothered to call me with new quotes or even an update bearing in mind I’d had this policy for a number of years. Luckily the actual provider sent me a quote which I agreed with them directly. Thank you.
