Very poor service for the second year once initial contact made but after that numerous emails and left messages no response.I know the current situation has not helped but again this is the second year it has happened.

ActiveQuote is competitive but does fall short on service. If there is any complexity or difficulty with renewals or claims then as a customer we look to our broker to work on our behalf and ease the burden. Our past experience has been disappointing and left us with the feeling that once the policy is sold ActiveQuote are less interested in delivering an ongoing service. Our hope is that our previous feedback has been taken on board and over time culture and practice will improve.

Mat Dotchon is excellent but unfortunately on this occasion it was not his department that could deal with my matter. Sadly, the Retention department was not as efficient or communicative until thankfully my issue was dealt with by the senior consultant (apologies, I cannot recall her name).

It would be helpful if, when sending e-mails or correspondence to customers, if you could indicate what insurance company you are brokering for.

I purchased travel insurance for a week's winter sun holiday from ActiveQuote via MoneySuperMarket. The online purchasing process was quite OK but as I thankfully did not have the need to claim during the holiday I can't speak further about ActiveQuote other than the purchase process - which as said was quite OK.

Not a smooth transaction this year on documentation. Couldn't get response to emails or phone calls until I contacted direct. If one of your agents is away from work, would be useful to get correspondence redirected for customers.

There were a few issues with getting my requirements correct and then the monthly payment was higher than quoted, but all got sorted out. Was very happy with the fact that the second years premium remained unchanged.

Active were great but the company I chose (MMS) were appalling. Basically I took out income protection insurance and after making a claim and 6 months later they still haven’t paid a penny and have no intention of doing so. They are rude and unhelpful and you should avoid that company. Active quote have been great and tried to help me but were unable. Choose carefully

Did not feel that your service offered best offer, in particular not happy with the automatic repeat service. This has to be paid for somehow even if it doesn't affect our premiums at pos; there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Absolutely no explanation on why my premium almost doubled. Did no provide any proactive support to at least lower the claim

ActiveQuote help remove some of the confusion surrounding Health Insurance but I dont get the feeling that they are working hard enough on my behalf. You still need to do your own research and eventually you may conclude that you don't need ActiveQuote at all.
