DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME Bought a LA-Z-BOY AVA 3 SEATER POWER RECLINER SOFA IN LEATHER from AHF in Keighley in Febuary. It arrived as promised in June. After only 4 weeks of ownership it was starting to show signs of sagging and wear. The seat where I usually sit is sagging (I think it is because of the low quality soft foam used in the product) and the leather is beginning to stretch. I am not a heavy person, weighing some 11.5 stones, and I am not sat on the sofa all the time. Given that the sales people at AHF told me that I was buying a high quality durable sofa, the price of the item (£1700.00) and the fact that I have not yet had it for 2 months it is a disgrace. If it is looking like this now one can only imagine what it will be looking like in 12 months. I have been in touch with AHF who sent a representative out to assess the sofa. Have just received a reply from AHF stating that the furniture is free of defects. Not how I see it. I guess this is just the standard reply trying to fobb one off. They suggest in their letter that I use each seat equally so they wear equally .... but I have not had it for 2 month yet!!! They could have informed me that I was buying such a poor piece of furniture that this would be necessary before I bought it. Also they also suggest that I make sure fixed cushions and arm pads have their creases smoothed out daily .. to cover up the poor quality of the product? Never told me that one in the shop when I was buying it. I am now reviewing the options open to me to pursue my complaint against AHF. I do have some legal cover with my home insurance that I am going to use to help my claim. How I wish I had spent more time reviewing AHF and La-Z-Boy's reputation and quality on the internet and not relying on the sales pitch of the sellers at AHF. I really do not know how AHF get so many good reviews (Trust Pilot) when they are providing furniture of such low apparent quality. This is backed up by glancing at the reviews for La-Z-Boy furniture. I consider that the piece of furniture I bought from AHF is not fit for purpose nor fulfils the sales pitch made to me and my partner at AHF Keighley. Before you make a purchase of a La-Z-Boy product from AHF, save yourself an headache and read the reviews available.

Steer away from this unreliable unrealistic uncommitted promise breakers. We have been waiting for over 6.5months for our sofas and it still hasn't arrived. Placed order and paid deposit on 5th Oct 2021. Its 21st April 2022 today and still no sofas at home. Take my advise and steer away if you read this. My friends who placed orders with other brands received their sofas and is enjoying them. So please dear All steer away.

Placed an order for two items from the milton keynes showroom and i was deceived into believing my order would arrive in three weeks. After payment and when i received my invoice, i noticed one of the products will arrive in seven weeks which was unacceptable. I contacted them within 24hrs and the supposed manager (Richard) was very appalling and was bent on/interested only in telling me how i couldn't cancel the order/ speed up the delivery. Very disappointed with a company that poses to have good customer service and quality products. Note for info to other potential buyers: they are just bent on telling you all you want to hear and coax you into signing the contract and afterwards say to you that the product you ordered is custom made and cannot be cancelled.

Paid nearly £3000 for 2 2 seater sofas and footstool, after a year had to have cushions refilled as they all went saggy they've now gone all saggy again. To top that paint is now peeling off supposed real leather. ABSOLUTELY NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE,

By far worst experience buying furniture from AHF as well as dealing with a complaint - do not recommend! Went to their Thurrock branch on Monday 25th June to order a sofa which I found after spending the whole day searching for furniture, the store manager, Sid, was called over to me as there wasn't any staff on the working floor so I asked their customer service team to assist in helping me purchase a sofa. Sid sat me down and told me a bit of information about the sofa, my first question was "how long is delivery" and he told me 3-4 weeks with that supplier for the New York left hand facing corner sofa which I was really happy with as I turned down many sofas because delivery was 6-8 weeks and actually, on the website it states "delivered in 3 weeks" which is false advertising! Since I purchased the sofa, I had no contact with any of the staff when delivery would be and I called them for an update to be told that the warehouse should be receiving the sofa around the 23rd July, this in fact would be 4 weeks since I ordered it and then the warehouse needs to check the sofa and then send it to myself which would be roughly a week or so. When I spoke to Sid he told me that delivery means for the warehouse to receive the goods, whereas this in matter of fact is false advertisement as no one had told me delivery would take 4-5 weeks, maybe even more. As a customer who is asking how long delivery is, why would I assume that the delivery period is for the warehouse to receive the item? I am really not happy with how this has been handled and how Sid stated "you probably have not bought in this industry before" - what exactly does this mean, I find this absolutely disgusting, is this how you treat customers? If I had known this I would have not bought a sofa from AHF and how you have a no return refund policy I can’t even cancel my order! After reading the reviews on the internet about AHF, I wish that I had not purchased and spent a penny with them. I am absolutely disgusted with the service and how the store manager lied to my face as I should have assumed that delivery means for the warehouse to deliver - which is ridiculous and all I have got is an apology which is not good enough. 1. False advertisement, 2. Lying to a customers face, 3. Insulting a customer who is paying for a product. Disgraceful.

Extremely disappointed with the service received. I feel like ripping the carpets out and putting it in the bin. That is how bad the service was. Nobody deserves such a rubbish service. I will never ever recommend this store or its installers to anyone. :Full story here with pics: We had the AHF slough come down to take measurements and recommend us what is required for our new carpets. This went very well. We then placed the order. Unfortunately this is where the pleasant stuff ended. We had plumbing done, followed by painters and so there was a slight delay to our earlier accepted date. We requested to change our date to install carpet but was turned down. Thanks to our decorators we got it sorted to get the carpet installers in. This is where it went from bad to worse. The installers without asking our permission removed the doors and then pointed out that we cannot close any of the doors or wardrobe doors because of the carpet thickness. When we asked them if the doors can be trimmed? Guess what they do not have the tools!! This was followed by exchange of what was in our contract what was not and so on. I then had to call the store so they can talk to the installers. To our surprise the store who initially told us if any work is required the installers will be happy to do but at a charge now tell us that we did not take the option. I have attached the picture of the receipt clearly showing £90 for trimming the doors! After speaking to the store for a long time they said they can only do this on Sept 22, 15 days after installing the carpet!!!!!!!!!! The worse was yet to come. The master bedroom door removed was kept against the wall. When I told them I have a toddler at home and this is a major risk. The installer now wanted to rip the carpet and install the door back! I hope I had never gone to AHF. I just hate looking at those carpets from my experience of dealing with the installers and the store. Did I forget? They also left rubbish (from new carpet installation) after installing them at our door and I now need to dispose it.

Bought a corner unit via the Fabb Furniture store. There is nothing Fabb about this. Loose threads. Cushions that have sunk within weeks of delivery and their refusal under the Consumer Rights Act to honour a repair or replacement. This company is seriously lacking customer support as the customer is basically told to clear off. This is going to be highlighted by the media and I'll gladly post how awful this furniture is. DO NOT ORDER from this company at all

Sofa was delivered in feb 2021 and has now got a fault on the fabric, was told it had a guarantee on the fabric for two years, when called to ask it to be repaired I was told it would cost me £60. For someone to come out and look at it. Explained to the girl on the phone that no where in my contract did it say I had to pay for it to be repaired, she just said you pay for it or we don’t come out. Asked to speak to a manager who she said was not available and would tell me the same thing. Would not recommend this company at all.

Would give minus starts if I could!! Dreadful company! Do not use!! The sales rep put the incorrect mattress onto my order and one too soft was delivered. Took 2 months to realise it wasn't the mattress I told the rep I wanted. Was left in agony whilst pregnant and unable to sleep. Contacted so called customer services who flatly said can't help you. Then proceeded to completely ignore me. Desperate and 5 months pregnant. Had to spend hundreds on another mattress just to get some sleep. Despicable treatment of a woman in need.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We were lied to multiple times not just about when the sofa would arrive but also about being called when it arrived as well as being called back by a manager. Everyone we spoke to was abrupt and rude when asking what can be done about our sofa being delivered VERY late and the poor customer service. I would 100% NOT recommend buying furniture from here as the delivery times stated are not accurate and it doesn’t seem like customers are their priority.

They should be investigated the company is cheating people out of their hard earned money. They should us a 2-3 seater sofas which we waited for 5 months when it arrived it was Broken and of poor quality, another 5 months of waiting still not repaired so I have asked for a refund which they have refused please do not buy anything from this company.

Never buy any product with AHF very bad quality. They offer 10 year manufacturer warranty but they never do service. I have bought leather bed and it was so delicate and when my 5 years daughter is sat on Foot board the internal structure was broken. I have call the customer service for warranty. They have charged $60 for visit. HomeServe furniture guys visit and reported its no covered as it was accidental damage its not manufacturer problem. I have lost another $60 unnecessarily other than buying the product from this stupid company. I have already informed and passed the message in my whole community and suggested not to buy any products from AHF.

We purchased two reclining sofas and a chair from ahf Peterborough october 2018 from day one there have been problems one sofa had to have an arm replaced three lots of surveyors out who say there is nothing wrong with the fabric. This furniture is used during November to February as it is in the lounge we use a room overlooking the garden the rest of the year. We phoned them again in January this year ordered and paid 435 for two replacement seat covers for the chair and one seat on the sofa totally worn out and threadbare delivery 4 to 6 weeks. Yesterday a phone call advised week commencing 10th may for it to be at their warehouse. My husband called them today first the warehouse was closed then it was open then it was British made no it wasn't coming from abroad as we had already been told by one of there former employees cheap Chinese fabric we asked for our money back but now have to wait another week. After paying 3400 plus 435 the furniture is worthless we cant even give it away. Do not buy anything from these so disappointing as we are senior citizens and can't afford to replace this

Do not buy carpets from ahf. I brought one of the most expensive carpets in the shop & after 8 weeks it has worn out! Ahf have said it’s down to how I have maintained it even though I Hoover daily & we don’t wear shoes in our home. My carpet that has been down 8 years is in better condition than my new one! In the pics is the difference when I pulled my sofa out. They have not arranged for anyone to come & view how bad it is just said they can’t Pursue my claim any further.

The most unreliable company I have ever seen . I’ve ordered a sofa 20 weeks ago and I have not received my order yet . Every time I call the customer service, they refuse to give me information about my order and they have very bad attitude .

Bought 2 Three seaters from AHF in Aug.20 got delivered in Feb.21 but due to pandamic accepted the delay, but to our surprise it was the wrong colour. Spoke to AHF customer care team Mr Zaheer, who was apologetic and apologised for this mistake, offered couple of options which looked attractive but the time scale was not acceptable so we asked for refund, again Mr. Zaheer was very helpful, and told me once we receive the goods we will give you a full refund which he did. I would still go and visit AHF store and advice anybody to buy from them, as my experience tells me that they are very professional in customer care. Thank you AHF

Orderd settee and arm chair when delivered one chair leg was broken, told it would be replaced within the week six weeks later and five further phone calls one a week each time told how sorry they are and it will get sorted immediately still waiting, can't wait for Keighley store to reopen as I am going to picket and leaflet the store every sat and sun see how they like loosing possible customers
