“About what you'd expect from a Mid-stay Airport Parking.
However be cautious when booking on-line for one day- despite all of their promotions and "70% off" advertising it can more often than not be cheaper to just purchase on arrival rather than pre-book. I've ended up paying £29 to pre-book for 24 hours to go on business trips, only to find when I arrived at the site that it £20 if you pay on arrival!
The difference is minimal, but when you frequently need to travel it really can add up!”
“not very helpful just said they had very little information didnt like that we had paid through holiday extras. tried to get us to pay them directly.”
“We bought premium, but only got a seat and extra luggage. We were told that you had started the premium service again, which is not the case. Because you dropped this service we started using THOMPSON years ago on long haul, these services are always full so customers are obviously willing to pay the costs. Pity you are not listening to what people are saying on the internet. This holiday was a quicky for us to escape the cold weather.”
“The advance payment was not recognised when we tried to come out. The staff were helpful though and were able to let us through after we gave them our payment details.”
“hada problem with my car park ticket, it did not recognise my registration plate on entry, so o exit I had to contact security to authenicate my ticket. They were fine and helpful, but it delayed my exit.”
“Parked at Carpark 3, arriving approx.5pm and returning 9.30pm in February. No shuttle available, although adevertised.Got very wet.Gated barrier didn't recognis e pre-booked payment,.Trie d to charge me extra £45. Contacted somone through speaker, and wa s waived, but caused delay behind me.”
“Staff very helpful. Outward parking at Exeter Airport was no problem except there was no sign of a shuttle bus so we walked to departures. Inbound parking experience was awful: prepaid ticket did not work and demanded £113.00 so had to reverse around cars queuing behind. Tried again and kept putting ticket into machine until an operative spoke through speaker and finally lifted barrier. All this in the dark and it was chucking it down with rain. Not a pleasant return to the UK, poor performance.”
“No .put the entry ticket in the exit machine which said I had to pay £72 had to contact the assistance and go through the booking ref. and the reg No. Plus my name before I could exit the car park why could you not have a number plate recognition camera as the exit ticket is placed in the machine .?”
“I'd pre-booked/pre-paid...only to find when I arrived at the car park (one I've used many times on a pre-book basis with no hitches) that the pre-paid arrangement wasn't recognized, so on return the machine wanted some £300 payment extra!! Although after midnight I was armed with my booking reference; and once the help button was pressed, what with this and the helpful voice at the other end all got sorted. But it shouldn't have happened, and thought this should be imparted to Holiday Extras so that it doesn't re-occur.”
“I booked with Aberdeen Airpark to park my car for a few days while away on business. Although the service did everything I needed there was considerable room for improvement. Their punctuality was poor. I had to wait some time in the ferry bus before we actually set off to get to the airport. On my return, I had also to wait in very bad weather for the ferry bus to arrive to pick me up. Added to this, the ferry bus which took me to the airport was filthy as was the office. The staff were reasonably helpful but not particularly welcoming.”
