“Metropole Torquay had a great time food and staff very nice room 217 big room loved it but the noise outside was awful waking up 2 too 3 times a night complain nothing was done”

“Very good hotel but not the best stay at Cumberland hotel stains on carpet small room dark room very old fashioned in room and bathroom. Good food and drink but the last few nights it was long time to wait between meals 25 mins from main course to dessert and there was no butter or mayo had to ask twice for it. No toast at breakfast again had to ask twice. Staff lovely and entertainment was good bingo not long enough to noisy down stairs could here the singer on downstairs I'm my room. And very long way to shops cafes beach bus stops not ideal location wise. Receptionist very nice friendly and staff as well but some faults as well I just think personally it not the best hotel I stayed in. I went on the coach hoilday Scarborough and whitby 6th aug to 10th aug”

“Had a nice holiday in Liverpool, journey back was not good had to wait 2 hours for another coach to get to Rotherham services before we could continue our journey home, nothing to do with heavy traffic driver took them to a shopping outlet , we are sat waiting for them not a good end to a holiday so got home after 6 o’clock, we do know you have to wait for other coaches but not while they go shopping”

“My sister and her partner who are both registered blind her partner who has a little sight., were booked on a coach trip to the Isle of Wight the trip has been booked since May , the company new that they were both registered blind, they have been to the Isle of Wight before on a coach had no problem,on getting on the feeder coach to Buttonwood then sitting on the coach that would take them to the Isle of Wight, the driver decided he couldn’t take them. Alfa rang them and said they were cancelling their holiday, how disgusting is this. My sister and her partner have been on several coach holidays have travelled too Blackpool. Llandudno on train by themselves without any problems. My sister who is recovering from cancer was so much looking forward to this holiday, as you can imagine she’s heart broken , thanks Alfa ruining her holiday.”

“Had a lovely break with an Alfa travel. Hotel was nice, lovely modern showers. Food was excellent, great choice, cooked perfectly and alway roasting hot . The staff were so polite and friendly. Trips were great as well. Good variety , driver had abundance of local knowledge. When i returned home I discovered id lost a few items. Alfa travels were so good in finding them as id left them on the coach, I wasn’t sure where i had left them. Good enough my items were found and returned to me the next day , free of charge. Thank you Alfa travel and the people who clean your coaches.”

“We were on a group holiday with our u3a. Alfa picked us up at 2 very convenient points. John was friendly and a very good driver. Shanklin Hotel on Isle of Wight was excellent: clean comfortable rooms, beautiful dining/entertainment room, food choices and food itself were great and our waitress, Brooke, was outstanding. All the staff seemed happy and helpful. The chef was incredibly helpful with someone who had intolerance of common foods. Evening entertainment was good. We will not hesitate to book again with Alfa.”

“Just returned from isle of wight. 7 day trip to Sandown. No WiFi on bus so it didn't start well. Trip down was quite quick from Tyneside. Hotel was good, had a seaview room and food was spot on. Trips a bit hit and miss will long stretches on the coach in traffic despite IOW being a small island. Trip to Osbourne house was ok pretty spread out but there is little buses to help. Sandown is boarded up with a couple of pubs, not much going on. Overall a good trip but would not go back to IOW. There are much better places to visit in the south with more to do. Overall a fair trip.”

“Just back from "Historic Houses of Kent". We were pleased with an excellent driver Keith. We enjoyed the trips to Chartwell, Rochester, Canterbury and Penshurst very much. We thought the trip to Tunbridge Wells was a waste of time. The King Charles Hotel was a poor three star hotel-the staff were good but the room was shabby and the dinners were very poor quality. The need to select our meals from a limited menu on the first night was very strange too and we weren't offered any alternatives. The location and area around the hotel in Gillingham was not worth visiting.”

“Just come back from Kent historic houses. Good cheerful driver Keith. Really enjoyed the holiday on the whole .Really think there should be more time in each place we visit. Now then the hotel King Charles is not up to scratch. THE TOILET WAS BADLY STAINED, THERE WAS BLOOD ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR, COBWEBS IN BEDROOM AND SKIRTING BOARD IN BATHROOM WAS THICK WITH DUST. PLUS ORDERING OUR MEALS THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE DIDNT WORK OUT EITHER . Would not go back again.”

“Holiday to Cavendish Hotel Exmouth from 1st till 7th June . Nice hotel , clean room and good excursions. Staff at the hotel are excellent especially our waitress for the week Storm who was always cheerful. Coach driver Michael also very helpful and kept us entertained with his jokes . A really good holiday .”

“Just returned from a wonderful trip to Scotland , stayed in the Waverley hotel in Melrose, wonderful food , staff were amazing special thanks to Morgan our waiter , the managers were lovely , friendly and nothing was too much trouble, yes the hotel needed a v bit of updating but it was all explained to us that it was an on going project , the rooms were warm and clean , the entertainment was good , and our driver Paul Hook was just wonderful , very pleasant and helpful , we will definitely travel with Alpha again ,the trips were good but not a lot in Peebles , the trip to The Royal Yacht Britannia was fantastic and the day trip to Edinburgh was lovely , keep up the good work ,”

“Had a lovely 5 day break in Northumberland with Alfa travel. The Holiday Inn at Jesmond was very clean and the food was good. The staff were very friendly. The itinerary was good but I would miss out Whitley Bay. Vindolanda is a more interesting fort to visit than Chesters. Our coach driver Jed was very pleasant and obliging. I would definitely travel with them again.”

“Self drive but booked to meet coach at hotel. Had very good holiday. Room spotless, walk in shower just what I asked for. Staff were all great. Will certainly go back to the Queen's hotel.”

“Alfa travel always make me happy I've been on about ten 5 day hols can't fault them .Last one was to Eastbourne great hotel as was food and entertainment a special mention for our server Stevi a delight hard working efficient and friendly lady.And drivers Darren and Carl A slight criticism the manager and his staff seemed officious.And tended to be overcareful with the coffee in the room we told them we needed some they gave us two sachets.Still we had a great time and met some lovely people thanks again Alfa your number is in my phone”

“As a first time traveller with Alfa I really enjoyed my trip to Newcastle and Holy Island. Lee our driver was knowledgeable and helpful. However I was disappointed when the hotel was changed to the Holiday Inn as I had heard such good reports about the Alfa Leisureplex Hotels and of course there was no evening entertainment. Holy Island was great but it was a shame not to see Hadrian's Wall itself. I would have preferred a trip to include Housesteads Fort (on the Wall) and Vindalanda rather than Chester Roman Fort.”

“Just came back from Cornwall ,Chris our driver was excellent ,the knowledge was superb,he was perfect in every way ,polite ,helpful nothing too much trouble ,I’ve never experienced a driver like him,he is a credit to your company ,hotel Eliot was very good ,hotel ,staff food and drink excellent,we went on all tours ,worth every penny ,we were a group of nine from Liverpool celebrating my sisters 70 th birthday ,we had a ball ,thank you.”

“My adult daughter was taken ill on the journey to the Hotel and admitted to Bangor Hospital for an operation. Thus, my four days at the Hydro Hotel, Llandudno was extended to twenty four days and the staff looked after me VERY well. I would like to commend Zoltan, the assistant manager and Konsantin, the manager, for their continuous support Finally thank you to Louise Baker, customer support who arranged our safe journey home to County Durham”
