Just returned from isle of wight. 7 day trip to Sandown. No WiFi on bus so it didn't start well. Trip down was quite quick from Tyneside. Hotel was good, had a seaview room and food was spot on. Trips a bit hit and miss will long stretches on the coach in traffic despite IOW being a small island. Trip to Osbourne house was ok pretty spread out but there is little buses to help. Sandown is boarded up with a couple of pubs, not much going on. Overall a good trip but would not go back to IOW. There are much better places to visit in the south with more to do. Overall a fair trip.

Just back from "Historic Houses of Kent". We were pleased with an excellent driver Keith. We enjoyed the trips to Chartwell, Rochester, Canterbury and Penshurst very much. We thought the trip to Tunbridge Wells was a waste of time. The King Charles Hotel was a poor three star hotel-the staff were good but the room was shabby and the dinners were very poor quality. The need to select our meals from a limited menu on the first night was very strange too and we weren't offered any alternatives. The location and area around the hotel in Gillingham was not worth visiting.

Just come back from Kent historic houses. Good cheerful driver Keith. Really enjoyed the holiday on the whole .Really think there should be more time in each place we visit. Now then the hotel King Charles is not up to scratch. THE TOILET WAS BADLY STAINED, THERE WAS BLOOD ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR, COBWEBS IN BEDROOM AND SKIRTING BOARD IN BATHROOM WAS THICK WITH DUST. PLUS ORDERING OUR MEALS THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE DIDNT WORK OUT EITHER . Would not go back again.

Holiday to Cavendish Hotel Exmouth from 1st till 7th June . Nice hotel , clean room and good excursions. Staff at the hotel are excellent especially our waitress for the week Storm who was always cheerful. Coach driver Michael also very helpful and kept us entertained with his jokes . A really good holiday .

As a first time traveller with Alfa I really enjoyed my trip to Newcastle and Holy Island. Lee our driver was knowledgeable and helpful. However I was disappointed when the hotel was changed to the Holiday Inn as I had heard such good reports about the Alfa Leisureplex Hotels and of course there was no evening entertainment. Holy Island was great but it was a shame not to see Hadrian's Wall itself. I would have preferred a trip to include Housesteads Fort (on the Wall) and Vindalanda rather than Chester Roman Fort.

Stayed at Queens in Eastbourne last week. Hotel is dated but very well run. Food was very good and the rooms clean. I was on top floor (5) but the lift is brilliant and very reliable. Holiday spoilt by the strong sea breeze every day. Went to Hastings on Thursday but this town is dreadful so don't go. Otherwise all ok. We had a good driver. Hotel is in a great position. Get your cuppa in the Victorian tea room on the pier 5 minute walk. It's nice on there.

Just got back from the Regina hotel Torquay. Wonderful hotel in a good location, great staff, delicious food, my room warm and clean with a view of the sea. Loved the shower just moved the dial and plenty of hot water. Our driver Russell was so kind and helpful. He is a credit to Alfa.

Christmas at Cavendish Hotel- Exmouth. Positives-Hotel was very well run, meals were excellent, all staff brilliant, Many gifts from Santa.Management did generally a good job.Negatives- Boiler broke down day we arrived so b-- cold, blankets were supplied to some heaters for others, Steps to front very difficult for elderly, disabled, bad eyesight problems, lift very temperamental, door keys again hit and miss, not really disabled friendly hotel. Hotel needs a lot of TLC. Undergoing work for 6 weeks from 3rd Jan-needs a lot of attention. Our main Driver Clive was brilliant even though unwell so 100% review for him. Our Feeder driver was rude /arrogant didn't even introduce himself, totally insulted at least one lady passenger. Not what you expect from Alfa drivers ? Summing up --Can't give 5 star rating although staff were excellent, Hotel not so good ,many problems with an old building, major works need doing for elderly /disabled/poor eyesight guests.

Just returned from the Shanklin Hotel on the IOW, lovely hotel. Great holiday, wonderful evening entertainment. In the main the food was good and the staff worked extremely hard to take care of us, although on the returning day breakfast was cold, ( very early ). Our driver Andy was brilliant, safe, very informative, knowledgeable and highly entertaining. He made our holiday. Thanks again Andy.

Just got back from lovely holiday to Oxford and Cambridge great crowd on coach all got on really well but what a superb driver we had (Dave) could not do enough for us all mingled with all passengers so helpful and caring.Stayed at the Holiday Inn in Stevenage lovely and clean a bit far out had fantastic guides in Oxford and even better in Cambridge lovely day in St Albans. As for the Holiday inn and I've stayed in a few the staff are rude miserable with the exception of one of the bar staff on the first night we arrived unfortunately she was not in the rest of the week breakfast were lovely but not enough choice for evening meal and when they run out did not replace staff need some training how to smile and be polite to customers Thanks to all passengers and the driver DAVE for making our holiday so special

we have just returned from a great week at the Regina Hotel in Torquay with Alfa, the staff were brilliant nothing too much trouble, we had a fantastic driver, (Dominic) who was attentive to all the needs of his passengers, very funny, very knowledgable off the area we were in, I would recommend him for driver of the year, the hotel was clean and tidy though a little dated, we had a nice room overlooking the marina, If i was pushed to find a fault it would have to be the food, very basic and not very appealing, to call the cook "a chef" was a little misleading, But all in all a very nice holiday and i would certainly go with Alfa again and certainly back to Torquay, This was our first trip with alfa but it wont be our, last hope to do it again soon, thank you Alfa,

We had a very good driver by the name of Dominic, who took us to our resort in Torquay. He was a very good and pleasant driver. It was a pity that he wasn't our driver for our tours. The hotel was very clean and tidy and the food was excellent.

Just returned from Isle of Wight, Shanklin Hotel, first Coach Holiday and had a nice time. Hotel was clean in good repair and with good facilities. Coach Driver was knowledgeable (Michael) and helpful and the Hotel Staff were friendly and professional. Food was distinctly mediocre although Breakfast was better. Particularly enjoyed the use of the pool and sauna which was lovely. Overall was impressed with the value for money
