“Hols to cromer was very good Calum our driver was very nice man good driveing & told you facts and informaiton on places we went to Hotel was very good food good But need a diffrnt menu now its same in every alfa hotel ! Played bingo but did not win 😁 Trips out good 👍”

“I would like to know why we have to pick up from Doncaster Mexbrough way in Yorkshire on feeder coach from Grimsby i can understand Grimsby brigg Scunthorpe pick ups etc etc before getting to Rotherham services somethimes i think we not there long enough by the time we go to the toilets and get a drink if the queues are long we dont eat until another stop. I somrimes think the pick up stops are to long it takes over 2 to 3 hours to pick passengers up all over the place. My partner is diabled we dont get to the hotel until after 4pm at times. Hotel we have stayed in lovely some of them much better hhen others and i do like alfa coach drivers we never had a bad coach driver at all they all bern amazing Richard Lee Tony Brain Jed all been fabulous i hope to have them on the next hoilday. We always have different drivers on every different holiday never the same driver Andy was very good last time on the wales trip holiday. We never had a female driver either. I would like a little extra time at the services just enough time to get food drink and go to the toliet theee been a few times we only had twenty mins at the services its not long enough. There was one time i was on the alfa coach for over 3 hours with out a drink and loo break i wasnt allowed to get of the coach the coach we was on could not do a stop to get off we had dozens of pick ups as well the loos on coach didnt work i had to wait another 2 hours to use the loo and get a drink at another place. That cant happen especially wnen i had been ill with infection a week before. I would like at least 35 min stop at rotherham services not 15 20 min break its not long enough. Maybe Doncaster pick ups can either be earlier or they get picked up at another services. Twice now i had travelled with Alfa and its been over 3 hour journey to and from Grimsby maybe do earlier pick up times”

“My wife and I came back from isle of wight on Wednesday 26 August, Our driver shaun was a great driver and kept us entertained on our journey ,on arrival at the hotel the duty manager introduced herself to us and we got our room key and we went to our room ,it was nice ,clean and comfortable.Next morning we went down to breakfast sat at our table and had a great breakfast, at evening we had a great meal started nice and hot but after 10 mins it had gone cold due to the overhead ceiling fan being on I asked if it could be turned off but was told NO ,they moved us to another table. Once we were moved the meals were absolutely delicious, we had a great waitress Lucy who couldn't do enough for us ,she was fantastic, all staff from the top to bottom were outstanding, would certainly go back”

“My mother and I went on the Derbyshire Dales & Chatsworth, Peak Districy holiday in August 2026. Gary the driver was excellent, very friendly and polite. The tour was really enjoyable, with three days of visiting interesting places. The other holiday makers were also very friendly. Hotel was very well equipped, with good meals at breakfast and dinner. “I paid £80 extra for a view at the Cumberland hotel Scarborough. But there were no views only some trees I had expected a sea view but the hotel is not overlooking the bay. Also the walk from the hotel to the promenade is very steep and it is difficult to make the return journey for elderly guests. I think the description of this hotel in your brochure is very misleading and needs amending. Room was fine and cleaned daily and the food was satisfactory.”

“Great company, really nice holiday and great young driver called Callum! Pleasant and very good safe driver. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell he loved his company and job. Good trips, hotel and meals good stayed at Cromer. Last and first truck stop rest breaks were awful! Need to change these stops.”

“We ad a dreadfull holiday hotel dirty , staff lovely but over worked , the day trips out rip offs completely, we never got to see much at all in the bus far to much an the stops wasn't what paid for on 2 trips , paid for 1 half day an 2 full days we got 2 half days an 1 full , but they wasn't that good. Wouldn't recommend or go with them again . .”

“Poor start - 30 min wait for coach, due to one passenger being 20 mins late. Suggest only allowing 10 min lateness to be fair to other waiting passengers. I was sufficiently concerned that I rang emergency number. Maybe on admin. paperwork an option for passenger mobile number so that any significant delay could be passed on. Once under way all good. Bournemouth hotel had quirky layout but very satisfactory: staff, rooms, food and general atmosphere. Just a pity hotel could not be picked up and put down closer to seafront since hill an effort for older folk!! Driver, Michelle, very helpful to those incapacitated and drove carefully throughout - with a ready smile.”

“Just spent a week at the Royal Norfolk Hotel at Bournemouth which was one of the best we have stayed in over the last three and a half years. Our coach driver was Dominic and I can honestly say hes the best we have had by a long way. He is caring, funny and completely unpredictable. It was a gas. Heres hoping we get him on our next trip.”

“My recent holiday with alfa coaches started picking up at bath road Stourbridge I caught intrchange coach it took me to Tamworth services I had to wait over an hour for alfa coaches to take me to bognor Regus hotel I was very disappointed in the organisation and the way treated by driver I was left very confused and angry at the start of the holiday I was looking forward to 7 and anhalf hours travelling I finerly arrived at the hotel which was very good in including excursions food acmodtion rest of my in bognor Regus was very enjoyable but I know that I still had to get home which turned out to be another ten hour stressful journey home I would not use this company again and would recommend you do the same.”

“Just returned from Weymouth royal hotel. Every thing was great as usual with Alfa except for day trips. 1. Trip to West Bay 3 Hours too long nothing there 2. trip to Abbots.bury gardens not suitable for older passengers Ry”

“Roy draver was ok but talked too much he sometimes told you where to go before we got there ! I think he gets mixed up lol 😁 The trip to hotel was very long olny got to hotel at 6.30 pm ! Trips out where ok but he give too long in ride & newport. Shanklin hotel was good but you have to go up & down hills to get to the shops and sea ! I had 2& 1haif days in the resort too long but lucky they did a bouat trip wich was ok but was wet & windy so colud not see much ! Lol and went on an afternoon to the needles was ok but clody and bit windy Breakfast and eveing meals where good and Most of the week i had Reece was new and amy was training reece up by end of week he was very good 👍”

“Just got back from a trip to the Hydro hotel Llandudno and i must say my wife and i and 2 friends enjoyed it immensely. Our driver Dave was fantastic he could not do enough for you. My wife and her friend hired mobility scooters for the week and every time we went on an excursion Dave would put them on the coach and take them off again and he done it with a smile. The hotel was clean and tidy but the bedrooms could do with a bit of renovating because they looked a bit tired. As for the entertainment well i was lost for words it was absolutely diabolical it looked like they went to an old peoples home and asked if anyone could do a tune and booked anyone who said they could, but we had a laugh. The restaurant was nice and clean and as for the meals i would not say they were Michelin star but they were adequate. Our waitress for the week was a young lady called Marina and as far as we are concerned she was the shining star of the week. Always polite funny and an amazing memory we looked forward to going in for meals just to see her. Overall a very good weeks holiday. Already booked 2 holidays with Alfa for next year, we can`t wait.”

“The queens hotel blackpool is superb fantastic staff food drink cleaniness all the staff are hard working waiters chef and house keepers cleaners top Mark's safe clean tidy spacious lovely room and really fantastic location and hotel receptionist quick and easy check in room and bathroom lovely. Well done massive praise as well to all the staff especially night entertainment. I would have liked bingo to go on for bit longer but what a great hotel and staff. Lovely holiday from start to finish great people great coach driver great hoilday. Coming back here in dec counting the days well done to all involved thank you”

“A group of 18 have just returned from ilfracombe a lovely hotel food staff & entertainment excellent our trips was a bit hilly but some very pretty towns & villages calam our driver was very good considering he had never done that tour before thank you once again can’t wait for our next trip”

“Went to melrose on 8 day trip there is nothing to do nr hotel and its in its own gronds but was very windy & raining everyday 😞 so did not go out on the 2 & 1/2 days of lesuer just stayed in hotel ! Too far to walk to center of melrose 20 min + lol walk a way ! Could of got taix but there & back would of been lot of money ! Hotel was very good food aas nice enterement was ok bingo was at 9.45 😯 too late ! Days out where good but lot of traveling draver dean was ok but 1st time going this trip so did not nowe anything !”

“Had to ask to change a super saver I had booked earlier in the year, when I found out I was going to a hilly destination and I’d just had a small back operation. The lady I spoke to ( sorry I didn’t get her name) was very very helpful and got me on a different super saver to a flatter destination . Superb customer service, I have 7 more holidays booked with them this year and looking forward to them all. Never been disappointed with Alfa Travel.”
