“Just to say enjoyed our holiday to Tenby on 14th oct we go on four holidays a year with alfa pick up excellent but 10 hour journey to tenby it was long long journey only had two stops left Grimsby at 5.45am got to hotel cliffe norton at 4pm check in quite had 1st floor bedroom clean tidy no view of tenby at all dinner at 6pm and breakfast at 8am worked well for us. Entertainment was ok drinks was at good price and receptionist and bar staff and manager all very friendly. Very nice hotel and friendliness but 10 hours on coach it was long journey. Excursions was good st david waste of time going nothing there apart from church and two cafes and couple of shops not impressed with that excursion. Not enough time in tenby at all. Dinner food and drink and breakfast and service was really good cant complain with the food. Clean and functional bedroom and bathroom and house keepers cleaners excellent had empty and clean room every day lovely stay. Thank you to all involved. Robert our driver was good helpful and safe driver got us to places on time and safey thank you Robert look forward to be seeing you hopefully again on another hoilday”

“Just back from seven days a Waverly Castle, Melrose. Some good points, some not so good. All the staff were pleasant and friendly, Rooms were clean and it was nice to see new radiators in the room, which actually kept the room warm. The shower was a good size and always had plenty of hot water. The food was just warm at all meals, although service was very quick. Breakfast was at 7.45am and evening meal 7pm. which seemed strange that it was the early breakfast but late dinner. The entertainment room was cold, even one artist commented on this, and the dining room was not much warmer. Having said this we enjoyed the holiday and trips out, but wish the artist on each evening would not all sing the same songs.”

“Journey to and from Grimsby pick ups are good but to many especially when its extra 3 hours picking people up from Huddersfield and Wakefield West Yorkshire why go there when there is only two passengers picking people up from there its not good when it's like that my partner is disabled physically and mentally and has brain damage. When we went to Weston supermare it took 9 hours getting home with just two stops at service station and again on the feeder coach long time coming home. I can understand them doing Lincolnshire and south Yorkshire pick ups but not to West yorkshire we dont arrive at the orchard Rotherham services until after 10am it should be less pick ups”

“Travelled to Sheffield for 5 days break. Holiday got off to worst possible start, the feeder coach from Barrow in Furness was on an 18 seater minibus. As a passenger with a stoma it took over 4 hours to interchange and with no toilet facilities it was scary in case I had had an accident. The Leonardo hotel and Brett the driver were great. As I could not not face the thought of another 4 hour feeder journey home my wife and I decided to pay £132 To get the train home. I have been on many Alfa tours but the feeders take longer than getting to the resort. The brochure states where the feeder should go but these change regularly and by the time you get to Burtonwood you're tired and angry especially after setting off between 6 and 6.30am in the morning. The feeders are supposed to make it easier from next year but I don,t hold much hope. They should think about people travelling with disability”

“I had the hoilday with my partner on sept 14th 2026 to Weston supermare had to wait over 30 mins for food and drink at achor head hotel very short staff to the point i had to leave hotel and get food and drink out its appalling to wait that long food was good when it came out but i had to ask 3 times for tea and coffee. Its not good enough it was clean and entertainment was grear bingo and singer not bad. They dont do hot tea and coffee during evening hours just cold drinks sodas and alcohol beverages thats all basic but clean the cleaner didnt clean my room one day but came back and cleaned it. We had new bedding and new sheet as there was accident happen on the 3rd day it was dealt with professional and with no problems. Lovely hotel staff and gorgeous views over looking south wales and Bristol channel.”

“Hols to cromer was very good Calum our driver was very nice man good driveing & told you facts and informaiton on places we went to Hotel was very good food good But need a diffrnt menu now its same in every alfa hotel ! Played bingo but did not win 😁 Trips out good 👍”

“I would like to know why we have to pick up from Doncaster Mexbrough way in Yorkshire on feeder coach from Grimsby i can understand Grimsby brigg Scunthorpe pick ups etc etc before getting to Rotherham services somethimes i think we not there long enough by the time we go to the toilets and get a drink if the queues are long we dont eat until another stop. I somrimes think the pick up stops are to long it takes over 2 to 3 hours to pick passengers up all over the place. My partner is diabled we dont get to the hotel until after 4pm at times. Hotel we have stayed in lovely some of them much better hhen others and i do like alfa coach drivers we never had a bad coach driver at all they all bern amazing Richard Lee Tony Brain Jed all been fabulous i hope to have them on the next hoilday. We always have different drivers on every different holiday never the same driver Andy was very good last time on the wales trip holiday. We never had a female driver either. I would like a little extra time at the services just enough time to get food drink and go to the toliet theee been a few times we only had twenty mins at the services its not long enough. There was one time i was on the alfa coach for over 3 hours with out a drink and loo break i wasnt allowed to get of the coach the coach we was on could not do a stop to get off we had dozens of pick ups as well the loos on coach didnt work i had to wait another 2 hours to use the loo and get a drink at another place. That cant happen especially wnen i had been ill with infection a week before. I would like at least 35 min stop at rotherham services not 15 20 min break its not long enough. Maybe Doncaster pick ups can either be earlier or they get picked up at another services. Twice now i had travelled with Alfa and its been over 3 hour journey to and from Grimsby maybe do earlier pick up times”

“My wife and I came back from isle of wight on Wednesday 26 August, Our driver shaun was a great driver and kept us entertained on our journey ,on arrival at the hotel the duty manager introduced herself to us and we got our room key and we went to our room ,it was nice ,clean and comfortable.Next morning we went down to breakfast sat at our table and had a great breakfast, at evening we had a great meal started nice and hot but after 10 mins it had gone cold due to the overhead ceiling fan being on I asked if it could be turned off but was told NO ,they moved us to another table. Once we were moved the meals were absolutely delicious, we had a great waitress Lucy who couldn't do enough for us ,she was fantastic, all staff from the top to bottom were outstanding, would certainly go back”

“My mother and I went on the Derbyshire Dales & Chatsworth, Peak Districy holiday in August 2026. Gary the driver was excellent, very friendly and polite. The tour was really enjoyable, with three days of visiting interesting places. The other holiday makers were also very friendly. Hotel was very well equipped, with good meals at breakfast and dinner. “I paid £80 extra for a view at the Cumberland hotel Scarborough. But there were no views only some trees I had expected a sea view but the hotel is not overlooking the bay. Also the walk from the hotel to the promenade is very steep and it is difficult to make the return journey for elderly guests. I think the description of this hotel in your brochure is very misleading and needs amending. Room was fine and cleaned daily and the food was satisfactory.”

“Great company, really nice holiday and great young driver called Callum! Pleasant and very good safe driver. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell he loved his company and job. Good trips, hotel and meals good stayed at Cromer. Last and first truck stop rest breaks were awful! Need to change these stops.”

“We ad a dreadfull holiday hotel dirty , staff lovely but over worked , the day trips out rip offs completely, we never got to see much at all in the bus far to much an the stops wasn't what paid for on 2 trips , paid for 1 half day an 2 full days we got 2 half days an 1 full , but they wasn't that good. Wouldn't recommend or go with them again . .”

“Poor start - 30 min wait for coach, due to one passenger being 20 mins late. Suggest only allowing 10 min lateness to be fair to other waiting passengers. I was sufficiently concerned that I rang emergency number. Maybe on admin. paperwork an option for passenger mobile number so that any significant delay could be passed on. Once under way all good. Bournemouth hotel had quirky layout but very satisfactory: staff, rooms, food and general atmosphere. Just a pity hotel could not be picked up and put down closer to seafront since hill an effort for older folk!! Driver, Michelle, very helpful to those incapacitated and drove carefully throughout - with a ready smile.”

“Just spent a week at the Royal Norfolk Hotel at Bournemouth which was one of the best we have stayed in over the last three and a half years. Our coach driver was Dominic and I can honestly say hes the best we have had by a long way. He is caring, funny and completely unpredictable. It was a gas. Heres hoping we get him on our next trip.”

“My recent holiday with alfa coaches started picking up at bath road Stourbridge I caught intrchange coach it took me to Tamworth services I had to wait over an hour for alfa coaches to take me to bognor Regus hotel I was very disappointed in the organisation and the way treated by driver I was left very confused and angry at the start of the holiday I was looking forward to 7 and anhalf hours travelling I finerly arrived at the hotel which was very good in including excursions food acmodtion rest of my in bognor Regus was very enjoyable but I know that I still had to get home which turned out to be another ten hour stressful journey home I would not use this company again and would recommend you do the same.”

“Just returned from Weymouth royal hotel. Every thing was great as usual with Alfa except for day trips. 1. Trip to West Bay 3 Hours too long nothing there 2. trip to Abbots.bury gardens not suitable for older passengers Ry”
