Returned from 6 night holiday on 9th October. Alpha procedures were very efficient and reassuring in these tricky times - good spacing on coach, transfer centre well organised and our hotel in Cromer was efficiently run. It had a good system to cope with current requirements. Our driver was very competent, doing his daily temperature checks in a cheerful manner. We therefore had a relaxing holiday and could recommend. We have already booked our next trip with Alpha.

Just back from shanklin hotel iow got to sty the whole trip was organised expertly from start to finish. Got to give credit to the drivers Mark and Jason for there great professionalism especially dealing with a particular customer who ruined everybody's holiday and should never be able to travel with Alfa again (see reports forms drivers and hotel manager).Very impressed with the hotel well who performed superbly despite the current restrictions and the waitress who dealt with us all week was very good.Food was good and the entertainment average but all in all it was a very good holiday well organised by Alfa

Had great holiday at regina hotel torquay 9th March just got home before all this corona trouble. But can't wait for the next holiday with alpha travel. Very professional drivers we broke down on the motorway coming home but the problem was soon sorted with a pick up from another coach in the area. Can't wait for the next holiday with you.

Bit phased at start of our trip to Newquay, feeder driver got lost several times, obviously never been to north Lincolnshire before and did not listen to the locals who knew the area.when we switched to our main coach the experience could not have been more different,Darren our driver on coach 2 kept us informed about everything that was happening.can highly recommend Darren,he looked after very well through out our holiday. The elliott hotel in Newquay was excellent staff very polite and helpful. Ann who looked after us in the restaurant was brilliant.Very amusing lady, polite and helpful. Meals and the rooms were excellent.

We are 68 and 70 and took an Alfa 'Turkey/Tinsel' to The Selborne Hotel, Dunoon 11-15th Nov 2019. David is a skilled driver and gave us lots of helpful, informative information during the 5 days. Excellent, interesting journey via Gretna, Glasgow Orbital, Port of Glasgow, then a 20 minute car/coach ferry from Gournock to Dunoon. Day trip to Glasgow v.good and the scenery as we travelled to Inverarary is lovely [though we did have good weather !] The Selborne, an older-style hotel, is beautifully position next to the sea-like River Clyde. Amazing views. The staff were all friendly, helpful and polite. Our room, one of the few without a superb view, was dated but warm and clean, with super-comfy twin beds and hot water. The food was all very adequate for the off-season, budget price we paid. Excellent value for money and a really enjoyable holiday. Coach that picked us up was late, and we had a longer delay at interchange on return journey, due to the Isle of Wight coach hold-up. So a long day for everyone. That is the only reason we give 4 not 5 stars. Thank you all Alfa staff.

We have returned from Exmouth staying at the Cavendish Hotel first time with Alfa ,we had an excellent holiday. Room needs tlc which I was told is taking place in New Year. Driver Kevin very good informative good sense of humour.Entertainment good we do not play bingo but not a problem it was only about 1hr.Perhaps a few tub chairs only two sofas rest are upholstered recently but straight backed.Food very good portions sometimes service a little slow but what's the rush you are on holiday. Every member of staff pleasant not a problem with anyone had couple problems with bathroom sorted out immediately.

I have just returned from a holiday at Queens hotel in Blackpool. This is the 2nd time there as l love Blackpool. The hotel itself could do with a bit of tlc, but the staff were lovely and food good.Saying that maybe a couple of new vegi dishes would be welcome such as spag bol.The staff make you feel as if nothing is too much trouble.Roy our driver was a Gem a lovely knowledgeable gentleman, who kept us entertained throughout the travel.I enjoyed my holiday so much l have already booked for next year.šŸ±šŸ±šŸ˜

Well organised if not a little regimented , the leisure-Plex the Shanklin hotel, it very dated, the food a little like canteen food, staff in the restaurant, hardly spoke English, and totally untrained. These tours are not the great value you expect, because the hotels used are bottom end of the market who rely on coach trade to survive, you would not choose one of these hotels in isolation.

Just returned from a great holiday on the Isle of Wight with Clint who is a very good, helpful and professional driver, shame the same can't be said for the two feeder drivers. One who doesn't seem to know what a red traffic light means and the other never said a word to us the entire journey home. We had a great room at The Shanklin Hotel and the meals were very good. The only downside to our experience at the hotel was on occasions we had to wait a fair while between courses at busy times, when other coach parties were also at the hotel. This was no fault of the staff who were run off their feet at these times, perhaps this could be rectified by increasing staffing levels in the restaurant at such times. This hotel and the Cavendish at Exmouth are the best we have stayed at so far

Have been on at least 10 holidays with Alfa and must say most of them have been brilliant. I would however not recommend the Commadore hotel in Wales as it was not very clean, and despite me sending Alfa pictures of the state of the hotel and all the rubbish lying around including a lit candle on a shelf in a corridor which had drapes on the ceiling they maintain there was nothing wrong with it. Thatā€™s ok if you like to sit in a garden area with wet towels flapping around youMy main complaint however is one of their drivers who does the Blackpool tour. I accompanied a lady who is nearly blind and uses a white cane. The driver went to give her a questionaire form and she said itā€™s no good giving it to me and l said to him what do you think the white stick is for? His reply sympathy. I couldnā€™t believe he said this in front of a coach full of people and my friend was absolutely mortified. I would not believe in this day and age such a comment would be made. I must say that the drivers are usually a happy bunch who seem to enjoy their job and he is the exception.

Enjoyable holiday in a lovely hotel, excellent staff, nice food for a bargain type holiday. The entertainment was OK except the singers seem to have the same repertoire. Our room 302 was large, a good side sea view, comfy beds vg en suite, tv too small for room. Only problem & why 1* deduction, the bay window had a damp issue which made the room a tad musty. A really good holiday marred only by the driver Eric (yes again) . We were told that at the interchange it would be the same coach to Great Yarmouth, We got off the coach to get some stuff out of a heavy bag, I then waited to the rest of the passengers got off & then went up the steps to put our bag on the floor Seats on 2nd row front, I was then confronted by Eric who abruptly said " Your not getting on the bus" I replied I want to put my bag on the floor, again Eric "Your not getting on the bus", I said I just want to put it on the floor behind you, "No" said Eric. I actually thought he was joking & said I will put my bag on the steps, his reply " I will take it off" I was laughing still thinking it was a joke, he then said " I'm not joking", I then thought that he might not have been joking & looked at him & he again said " I'm not joking". I took my bag away seething at the abrupt & discourteous way he had spoken to me. I was still seething during the holiday as he was out driver. Eric was horrible & should learn how to speak to people.

Coach driver Dan was great not too much information but enough. The Eliot Hotel Newquay was fine, not fantastic meals but adequate. Entertainment was fine for the older generation but needs updating to attract younger people and why do we have to suffer bingo every night!

We enjoyed our holiday to North Wales. However, one problem was the coach was rather elderly! True it didn't have seat numbers or curtains but the air conditioning did work. The seats were comfortable. The coach had a limiter which prevented it travelling more than 60mph. This caused the difficulty in keeping to the schedule set by the company. Our driver only had the coach for five days before the start of our holiday. He had never done this tour before so was unable to give us much information about the area. He was a good driver under trying circumstances - driving rain and high winds! The hotel was excellent, very comfortable and with love!y food. The trips to the steam railways were great and our driver also took us to other places of interest. All in all a love!y holiday.

We have just spent new year in Bournemouth & our driver, Christine, was very professional & organised, explaining everything in detail so that no one could get confused about the times & details of our itinary. She was also really entertaining with her quips & stories. The hotel staff at Devon Towers Hotel were extremely attentive & the room was warm & clean. Some meals were better than others & the entertainment was a little hit & miss, but luckily for New Year's Eve the performer was very good, playing & singing with skill.

Spent the weekend at Devon Towers on the self drive basis ,this was our second stay there in twelve months ,I must say the only draw back I found was the parking ,there was was parking for four cars and was able too use that one for two nights found ourselves sharing with the manager ,which was not easy but on our last night the manager had parked in such a way that his was the only car in the bays .We were lucky that we were able to get on street pa4kin in front of the hotel!Otherwise the staff were great ,rooms clean and tidy and, comfortable ,and the food was good too .we will most probably use this hotel again in the future .

My friend and I have just had a break at the Hotel de Paris in Croit mer. I have to say that it was excellent. The restaurant, food, service was great. The single room I had was lovely and clean with all facilities. The reception staff were very helpful. The transfer from feeder coach to proper coach at Tamworth services was excellent as well. The only problem was coming home when we came upon a traffic jam just before Cambridge services. It took us over an hour to reach the services. Our driver Jeff however tried best to get round the problem but so did everyone else.He was a star. However when we finally got to Tamworth Alfa had organised taxi's for our onward journey. Well done Alfa Travel
