“Came back yesterday (16-8-2025) from a fantastic 7 days staying at the Metropole Hotel in Torquay. Beautiful hotel, lovely friendly staff and great well portioned meals. Our waitress, Shannon always greeted us with a smile, as did all the staff. Our excursions were very good too! Unfortunately we were unable to have an Alfa coach and driver for the full holiday, but Andy from Redwoods Travel, was a lovely chap. Before we left. we booked next year's holiday to the Isle of Wight, next August, (deposit paid with my £50 Bingo win) as a joint celebration for my 70th birthday (4th) and hubby's 75th (15th) the day we arrived. Can't wait!! Thank you Alfa for another fantastic holiday, now to share my review on TripAdvisor! Mrs. Noreen Skelton”

“Using Alpha travel for our third holiday with them was very successful. Great pick up, very comfortable coach journey. Extremely helpful driver and would recommend the Monarch Hotel, Bridlington, staff were brilliant, wonderful holiday.”

“Metropole Torquay had a great time food and staff very nice room 217 big room loved it but the noise outside was awful waking up 2 too 3 times a night complain nothing was done”

“Had a lovely break with an Alfa travel. Hotel was nice, lovely modern showers. Food was excellent, great choice, cooked perfectly and alway roasting hot . The staff were so polite and friendly. Trips were great as well. Good variety , driver had abundance of local knowledge. When i returned home I discovered id lost a few items. Alfa travels were so good in finding them as id left them on the coach, I wasn’t sure where i had left them. Good enough my items were found and returned to me the next day , free of charge. Thank you Alfa travel and the people who clean your coaches.”

“We were on a group holiday with our u3a. Alfa picked us up at 2 very convenient points. John was friendly and a very good driver. Shanklin Hotel on Isle of Wight was excellent: clean comfortable rooms, beautiful dining/entertainment room, food choices and food itself were great and our waitress, Brooke, was outstanding. All the staff seemed happy and helpful. The chef was incredibly helpful with someone who had intolerance of common foods. Evening entertainment was good. We will not hesitate to book again with Alfa.”

“Just returned from a wonderful trip to Scotland , stayed in the Waverley hotel in Melrose, wonderful food , staff were amazing special thanks to Morgan our waiter , the managers were lovely , friendly and nothing was too much trouble, yes the hotel needed a v bit of updating but it was all explained to us that it was an on going project , the rooms were warm and clean , the entertainment was good , and our driver Paul Hook was just wonderful , very pleasant and helpful , we will definitely travel with Alpha again ,the trips were good but not a lot in Peebles , the trip to The Royal Yacht Britannia was fantastic and the day trip to Edinburgh was lovely , keep up the good work ,”

“Had a lovely 5 day break in Northumberland with Alfa travel. The Holiday Inn at Jesmond was very clean and the food was good. The staff were very friendly. The itinerary was good but I would miss out Whitley Bay. Vindolanda is a more interesting fort to visit than Chesters. Our coach driver Jed was very pleasant and obliging. I would definitely travel with them again.”

“Alfa travel always make me happy I've been on about ten 5 day hols can't fault them .Last one was to Eastbourne great hotel as was food and entertainment a special mention for our server Stevi a delight hard working efficient and friendly lady.And drivers Darren and Carl A slight criticism the manager and his staff seemed officious.And tended to be overcareful with the coffee in the room we told them we needed some they gave us two sachets.Still we had a great time and met some lovely people thanks again Alfa your number is in my phone”

“Just came back from Cornwall ,Chris our driver was excellent ,the knowledge was superb,he was perfect in every way ,polite ,helpful nothing too much trouble ,I’ve never experienced a driver like him,he is a credit to your company ,hotel Eliot was very good ,hotel ,staff food and drink excellent,we went on all tours ,worth every penny ,we were a group of nine from Liverpool celebrating my sisters 70 th birthday ,we had a ball ,thank you.”

“My adult daughter was taken ill on the journey to the Hotel and admitted to Bangor Hospital for an operation. Thus, my four days at the Hydro Hotel, Llandudno was extended to twenty four days and the staff looked after me VERY well. I would like to commend Zoltan, the assistant manager and Konsantin, the manager, for their continuous support Finally thank you to Louise Baker, customer support who arranged our safe journey home to County Durham”

“Did not have a bad experience just returned from a lovely holiday porthcawl seabank hotel my friend and myself had a lovely time hotel very nice staff very good and most of all our driver Steve the best so polite caring nothing too much trouble he made our holiday a credit to your company well done Steve and team at seabank from Mrs sedge and Mrs lewis”

“Returned from. Exmouth on Saturday 29th March . Our driver Peter, was fantastic , full of knowledge and made us laugh a lot. The Trips out were excellent.The Cavendish Hotel was lovely, clean, friendly and the food was lovely.The evening entertainment was generally very good. All in all we had a great holiday.”

“Spent 5 days at Eastbourne early February for husbands birthday. Lovley hotel fantastic food and great service. Nothing was too much trouble. Trips out were great. Driver Stuart was very informative about the local area. Would recommend.”

“We have been going with alpha travel for over fifteen years ,never .disappointed. we go to Blackpool in feb 2025 ,to celebrate my sister who I lost through cancer but she loved going to the shoe shop round the corner from hotel ,will be sadly missed but we will see all our friends at queens hotel cannot wait.”

“please when you do a coach holiday more then three hours away please do more stops i recently did a tour of porthcawl Wales it took over seven hours to get there by coach with one ten min break at woodhall and then an hour break at service station we travelled from grimsby since 07.30 coach came early and we didnt arrive at the hotel until gone after 4.30pm long time and with only two stops my back was in half and i had really bad cramp as well sitting in the seats unable to move the coach was so uncomfortable and lacked space no hpt drinks served no charger plug cable very uncomfortable and long long journey coming home was the same it was over 6 hour journey with one stop again at a service station only and then when we reached woodhall it was straight on the coach home after spending from 09.30 departing porthcawl to reaching the service station three hours later did not reach woodhall until gone after 3.30pm i did not get home until after 7.30pm very long time maybe they should be more stops breaks and more drivers like two drivers if travelling to scotland wales and south east south west if the journey is more then 3 hours long maybe alfa should consider that but it was a fabulous hoilday”
