If i could review lesser i would. giving a star i think it wrong. been with company for many years. never had an issue. rewardops started and was linked with aeroplan. worked great for first 2 years then the link stopped picking up the purchases, i verifiec log in with aeroplan and into amazon and over a year and a half of purchase went unrecorded i provided everything to reward ops and then came back in 1 days saying to bad so i will be closing my aeroplan and my amazon account and switching to temu and westjet.

I have a Prime membership. Delivery drivers are increasingly unable to find our address although I’ve had multiple successful deliveries. Drivers text or call but the text line is only open for 5 minutes; if you miss it by 6 minutes you can’t reply to it. The customer service option by phone or on the website is useless because it’s a chatbot that can’t answer your questions. What is the point in having a “guaranteed delivery” date when the driver is actually on your street or in the complex and can’t walk 20 feet around a corner to find your front door AND there is absolutely no consequence to getting your delivery 2 days late?

Amazon is terrible. They blame you for things that they did. They don't actual fix all your problems. Some they fix and others they don't. Some require contacting them twice or more. They also terminate an account over copyright and they don't give you warning that they will do that. They are unreasonable. There were several books that were on pre-order. They were all cancelled by them and when they accepted an appeal to reactivate they never re-activated the pre-orders. They were stuck and couldn't be updated either. They force you to contact them. People said that there are two copies of the books and one version is the cancelled copy and gives no page reads. A request was made to remove the cancelled version but it was still showing in the Kindle store on the phone app. Wrote and complained but then they blame you and also tell you to clear your cache. Such a foolish attitude. There are other times they don't give you the answer you need immediately and force you to repeatedly contact and specify what you need. They also block books when they don't like that it has too much referred content. They have the worst customer service. They allow AI authors that don't even write and illustrate to publish books and don't even realize that some of them have a separate review account and review themselves and give others a 1-3 star rating while they give themselves 5 stars. They should never be allowed to publish. 90% of the time they are awful and even have a bad attitude and a copy and paste answer that is not even useful. They keep saying that the page reads are right even when there are many missing and they never compensate you for those missing page reads. They allow nasty reviews to be posted about your book from people who have no respect for the content written and put their own opinion because they don't agree with what you wrote and those who hate AI judging and giving poor reviews. They are charging more for the kindle books than they used to. Their marketing campaigns don't work well for my books and they charge for the advertising when you get a sale. It is not worth the money.

The customer service is absolutely atrocious and useless. I was transferred to 11 different people and none of them could give me an answer on why I didn't receive my new Amazon card in the mail. All my accounts have been cancelled due to the terrible service.

I was trying to resolve the issue with the gift card since December 24th. Christmas was ruined because I was promised that agents form the gift card department would get back to me within 48 hours. No one ever did. I contacted suppprt again, they promised to get back to me within 24 hours and again, guess what, no one ever has. So today I spent good 1.5 hours with them trying to resolve this. I was switched between the agents and departments until one moron just hang up on me without any kind of resolution options. Wait, they did offer a resolution to email them the proof of purchase of a card which I have never purchased because it was an e-gift card. And guess what, they would contact me… NOT! I have just experienced the worst support experience ever and trust me I know what support is because I led the customer success department myself. This is ridiculous! Stay away from Amazon because they would spoil not only Your holidays, your mood, they would waste your time trying to make an pression they have a service called customer support. It is non-existent feature of the business!

It would be easier to tell what didn't go wrong. Set up an account to order Christmas gift cards for my Son and two grandchildren. After getting a confirmation email telling me my order is approved I then get another email that there's suspicious activity on my account which I couldn't understand because I only had the account for all of 10 minutes. Went through all the rigmarole that they told me I had to do and changed and blah blah blah so I did all that re-ordered and bang just like that They did the exact same thing to me again. They did this to me three times and then they sent me an email at about 3 o'clock in the morning Christmas morning cancelling me out once again. After phoning them and talking to them I told them just to cancel everything because they have already ruined Christmas. I also noticed even though they were canceling everything out my credit card had been charged $200. However they told me within 24 hours There would be a credit on my credit card. So not wanting my son and granddaughters to have nothing on Christmas morning I sent them etransfers. Now all of a sudden today they get their gift cards. So now instead of costing me $200 it has cost me $400. There is no way I am going to tell my son or granddaughters that they have to return the gift card or the money and Amazon will do absolutely nothing about it. My first experience dealing with Amazon and it will definitely be my last. I am totally disgusted with the Customer Service or lack of and the fact that they basically ruined what my Christmas was going to be for my family. Amazon you suck

Both the chat and phone support were a complete disaster. Spent hours getting nowhere with either. Waste of time and energy—still no solution!

0 Star rating. Since the first week of November I ordered 5 items from amazon that they haven't been delivered yet !!!!. I have ordered a purse on December 7th to give it to my wife as a Christmas present. I have a prime membership and when I ordered the item it said " Guaranteed delivery December 20th " . The item hasn't been delivered to me yet. I called Amazon and they informed me that my item is still in their facility. ( means it wasnt imported from another country). Also when i ordered the purse it said "in stock ". The customer service representative told me that she will send a ticket to release the item and I will get an email within the next 5 business days. ( wich means after Christmas). Also told me that there is no guaranteed delivery date. WTH!!!!!! I prepaid for an item that Amazon gave a guaranteed delivery date at the time I placed the order ( December 20th) . Where is my Order !!!!?????? And no, they will not reimburse me right now. They said " if you don't receive your item until December 31st, then we will discuss all your options. Again ... WTH !!!! I am deleting my prime account and my account in general with Amazon. It wasnt that bad when it started. I don't know what is the reason behind this mess but I don't like to not receive what I have prepaid and get my money back after a month.

Simply a rip off. Was receiving aeroplan points with amazon. Spend 1500 per month and last year and half neither aeroplan reward oos or amazon would compensate. Aeroplan and reward ops just told me to individually enter ever purchase for last year n half. 17 pages with 10 to 15 orderes per page. They would not track it and just kept sending me to the lost points page. Amazon kept providing mis information saying they would put in a request to supervisors to get it looked at. 48 hours. After 4 days I'd call and get told another 48 hours. Then one agent would say account was deleted another would say it was locked. Finally they locked it and took the credit on my account. I would not recommend this rip off place. Horrible customer service. Temu here I come

That is it. I am not going to buy anything anymore from Amazon. I was supposed to have an item delivered yesterday by Intelcom. I received an email from the carrier at 10h 45 that I would get it by the next three hours. I had to wait for it. At 1h 38 pm I receuived another email saying it will. E delivered before 10 pm. I had to wait for this stupid item 11 h 15 minutées and was not delivered. A third email from the carrier was sent again saying they are sorry not delivering the item and it will be delivered another time. I contacted Amazon who really did not care about doing anything. I told Amazon that I don’t want this item and I want refund because I don’t want to loose another day of my time to wait for the item. Amazon told me that they can’t cancel it because it is sent for delivery. So I am the customer who has to loose all her Saturday, before Christmas that I could use to do my shopping, enjoy my weekend, and have my stuff done. These people and this compagny are paid for their time, me I lost 12 hours, waiting for the item and talking to the lady at Amazon. All what I heard is they are sorry. Do I really care if they are sorry? I am not paid for the time spent because of their delivery problem and why I can’t cancel this item since it was delivered by the carrier as it suppose to? That is, no more Amazon, I will shop in my home town and forget about all the hassle from a company that does not give a dame Sh——t about their clients. I am also an Amazon Prime ! Wow !

Terrible customer service. Quote "We know nothing and can't do anything goodbye" I ordered a winter work jacket 250$ because they don't sell them at marks work wear house anymore. Ordered on Dec2. Payment went through on Dec3. On Dec4 it left shipper and arrived at an Amazon facility in NJ. Delivery date was for Dec8. On Dec8 I get two updates at 5pm and 7pm both saying delayed in transit and a message saying it will be here on Dec12. If not I can request a refund the next day. I called today Dec13 and I find out that I can not get a refund as it 'may' still arive. But now it won't be untill Dec20. I called a second time today and I get an update after saying not untill Dec21. If I call again tomorrow will they say not untill the 22nd. I'm going to call everyday now lol What a joke. No updates on shipping. They can't tell me where the package is even though it was shipped directly through them. This is the first issue I've ever had with Amazon. It says you can request a refund 48hrs after the arrival date. I got an email saying to wait 4 days before requesting and Now another 8. What guarantees me that I will get my refund then? An email says contact them on the 21st. Nothing about a refund. On my prime account, it says sorry for the delay you can request a refund. I guess the key word is "Request".

Amazon should be avoided this year. Two weeks till Christmas and most items cannot be delivered till well after Christmas. They knew a postal strike was coming and did nothing to facilitate delivery. Prime is useless. Cancel your prime memberships, too. These big companies have to be taught to respect their customers.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am not one to leave bad reviews but my goodness I have had the worst experience with amazon customer service. If I went into full detail with everything, they have messed up on it would a full-blown novel. I have been dealing with them for 3 months!! I tried returning something, and got sent the wrong return shipping label 3 times in a row, to then be told they can't give me one and that I would have to sort out the return on my own. I then confirmed with about 5 or agents that If I return it on my own dime that I would be refunded the shipping cost. I was told yes by all agents. I then send in all the information I was told to and was told I would be refunded 3-5 business days. Almost 2 weeks go by with nothing. I call again to be told they can't refund me.. so I speak with a manager who said that was a mistake and they would process the refund right away. After confirming the refund amount of over $100 with multiple agent multiple times I then wait another 2 weeks to receive nothing and have to call again! I get told it is being processed and will be a few more day. I just got an email finally stating I would receive my refund..... the email stating I would be getting 3.99 back.... They owe me over $100 and sent me 3.99!?! I am beyond baffled and so incredibly mad.

I ordered on Oct 30 a Breville Espresso machine. I was to receive the next day. Advised that we needed to be home as a code is needed for this expense. ($1800.00). I waited all day and finally at 6PM I called and the automated c/s stated on its way. Finally around 8PM went online and saw that my order was delayed and the next Delivery was Dec 3rd. The problem was my family member was leaving on the 1St to go back to Winnipeg and with the postal strike this was my option to get it in time and send with relatives for a Xmas present. I canelled. Showed cancelled. I followed it back to the shipper and I went Dec 1st to Crate and Barrel purchased again and sent with relatives. I contacted c/s and got the runaround right away. Happened three times over the course of 5 days . Called my bank and they explained tht anything over $1000.00 a retail can not pay you back for 15 days. Only then can I have the amount reversed. I have been with Amazon for years and never have I been lied to and given the runaround as many times as Amazons customer service department have done. I and now all my family will not purchased from Amazon over $50 I know have to may $1800 twice this month.
