Reason for Prime shopping with Amazon Canada was because shipping was expeditious and returns were simple and free. Have been a frequent customer for the past several years and was subjectively, happy with my purchases and hassle free returns. Recently, they have started to charge return shipping fees and delivery service was well below par. Frequent scheduled deliveries could not be accomplished due driver unable find address or claims not being able to access building that required access codes already provided in delivery instructions. Very unprofessional! Live Chat with AI is impossible and there is no option for chat with human customer services. Did not receive any call back even when requested!

Today the Amazon courier left my item soaking wet in the rain, when 3 steps away, it would have been left out of the rain and dry! Why? Because they obviously couldn't care less!!!! Another day they left my items on the bottom step (of 7!). What's next? Leave it on the lawn? In the driveway? At the curb? Or stolen??? No knock on the door, no ring of the bell. And worse, AMAZON.CA condone this!, posting the line "at or near the front door or porch"? What? No REPUTABLE companies would dare to call that a "delivery service". Don't order anything you can't afford to have damaged or stolen!! I'm done with their carelessness and lowball effort in handling items I have paid for, that I expect to be treated with respect and care. I am taking my future business elsewhere. The rating AMAZON.CA deserves for their "delivery service" is an absolute NEGATIVE!

major bait & switch from the early days. in the early days, they sold name brand goods at warehouse prices. now it's almost all cheap, off-brand, inferior, dollar-store quality junk sold at regular retail outlet prices. The handful of name brand quality items still available are usually substantially more expensive than at retail stores. and with every big-box store offering online shopping now, amazon.ca no longer offers anything unique or worthwhile with their services.

Delivery driver in the village of Shanty Bay Oro-Medonte Ontario. At approx. 11:15 I observed him twice not stopping at stop signs. Numerous times I have witnessed unsafe driving (excessive speed distracted driving ect )

So it is 1st Dec 2023 and this order leaves in the morning from an Amazon facility 30 mins away from my home and does not get delivered the whole day. By the way I am on the east side of Toronto and the weather was nowhere close to severe. Looks like Amazon will close down services when it actually gets worse in Jan to March. If they cannot deliver by estimated time why do they even provide a delivery date. Atleast one will not waste time ordering for urgent items.

HORRIBLE customer service!!! Tried calling to get help and the lady wouldn’t let me speak and when I asked her name she just hung up on me. All I wanted was help with an item that has in accurate information. This is not a company I would want to spend my money at that have employees who treat you this way. GARBAGE

They sent me wrong item and i returned next day and i have not received my refund after 2 months still on going ripoff they refuse to give my money back after their screw up. I now have to go file Visa charge back.

All the light fixtures I ordered from Amazon are not approved for use in Canada, so electrian cannot install in our new house. Very disappointed in Amazon selling product that is not approved for use in Canada.

Amazon driver tried pushing past a resident in a secured building, got into an argument with the resident, and then tried to find a spot to dump his packages in the lobby since he could not get anywhere else. When confronted about it, and told to contact the people he was trying to deliver to on the intercom, he dumped 1 package and left the area with the rest of them.

3 times this year Amazon has charged my credit card for fees I don’t use. Twice for Prime and once for channels. Refunded both prime charges. But I closed my account and then noticed the channel charge of 14.68. Would not refund because my account was closed. Literally called them 1 hour after closing my Amazon account. Said they couldn’t find the transaction once the account was closed and yet they can find my credit card to charge me for stuff I don’t use. Have had to open a dispute thru my bank. Ridiculous that they wont look up the transaction, you know it is recorded some where so the can get that money

Amazon would not honor a lower price even if the purchase was within a week. Customer service won't even bother in listening ... With this economical situation a credit would had been nice ... Other companies like Walmart offer better services in this kind of situations which really helps the consumers a lot

I ordered a closet organizer which I had to return as it was not what I wanted. Return requested. Brought it to the post office on October 16. The item was delivered to Amazon on Oct 23 as per tracking ( Canada Post). I waited two days after that , no refund ( $233.40). I called. The agent told me it will be refunded on Oct 31 . On Oct 31 I dud not receive it. I called and the agent now told me yes we received the item on Oct 23 but refund will be on Nov 9!!! No way to escalate !!! I called today on Nov 9 and the agent told me that the refun will be issued on Nov 15 !!!! Crooks criminals using our money !!!!

Delivery IS ALWAYS AN ISSUE WITH THIS CROWD!!! I am not ordering anything from them again, this most recent order was delivered to the wrong address. I called the Police, made out a report, called VISA, cancelled payment. Amazon obviously hires SUSPECT INTELLIGENCE to deliver our packages. That's 3 times this year alone, so I am down forever! I will gladly pay a higher price for COMPETENCY!!!!!!!!! As for the BS questions below, I NEVER RECEIVED THE PRODUCT!!!!!!

My return was delivered by purolator to rocky view Alberta. Amazon is claiming they did not receive it when there is proof they did and will not issue me my refund ATT002501485

Terrible amazon customer service!!! I called them several times on October 21stand 22nd regarding to a request to return un defective item and they have no willing to help me and solve the problem. They are hanged up the phone several times and didn’t solve the problem. As a customer service they don’t deserve even half star.

I and my wife bought a Truck Garmin GPS , 8’’, LMT for almost $800. When I received the product, it would not turn on . I tried to charged but it would not charged. So I asked Amazon. Ca to send me the bar code to send it back. When I got it I went to UPS and they told me I had to pay $52 to send it back and that I should insure the package since it supposed to be a valuable package for $30 more. I had to pay $92 for a nonfunctional GPS ( probably I was not told about it). It was not my fault that Amazon. Ça send me a damaged item. I am so upset, since I trust Amazon. Ca and they send me a piece of junk. And I could not use it in my trip. I also lost my trust to Amazon.ca!

Terrible customer service. Not solving my problem nor answer my question. Instead, the chat agent simply end the chat in the middle of the conversation! Extremely rude!
