I ordered something from Amazon about $200.00 worth - they said out for delivery - when I checked - btw I was home all day waiting for delivery - it said undeliverable - I called customer service as this isn't the first time the driver was being lazy - I live in an apartment building - there is a big sign on the door that gives deliver people instructions on how to use the intercom - where the external staircase is and which apartments are on which level - its a small two floor 28 unit apt building - the drivers see that and do not bother to read the sign - I phoned customer service and they responded the driver tried - I asked if they also called the manager, the instructions are also on the door - she came back and said yes the manager didn't answer either - I said nope that driver is a liar because I am both the person receiving the package and the manager - they did not even attempt it - I was told by customer service that they would try to delivery again before 10pm that evening and at 9:30 pm it showed again delivery attempted but could not reach person - I immediately contacted customer service and she said he is back at the depot - I said if he tried at 9:30 pm there is absolutely no physical way he could make it from my place to the depot in under 30 minutes unless he is a bird since it's an hour drive - I asked her to confirm that and yup she isn't sure what happened - it took 3 days of this for me to get my package - I leave special detailed instructions and still get similar run arounds from lazy drivers who don't want to read or follow clear instructions - customer service says they can't make them read the instructions - ok well I also wrote them down when I ordered the items in question on the shipping order - why have a place to write down special instructions if the driver isn't going to read them - I am really rethinking my Prime Membership - I pay yearly and this June I may not - now I am out shopping locally and not wondering if the item is going to be damaged or take 2 or 3 weeks.

Yet, another Prime package that failed to arrive after taking 11 days to ship it (sold and shipped by Amazon). They take no accountability and make no effort to rectify. This is now the 5th package in the past 30 days that failed to arrive and we didn't even learn about it until we checked our status and realized that the item was "undeliverable" an hour before the deadline. We will be cancelling our membership, after 7 years of being prime customers.

Don’t even deserve one star, Amazon’s prime membership that advertises “same day delivery” or next day shipping is a total scam. Why pay for a membership when they can’t deliver on the delivery date? If you want same day delivery, get in your vehicle and purchase your item at a local store… Amazon is useless When they have delivered a time which is late, it isn’t even to the front door. Instead it is left at the entrance to the building (see photo)

Absolutely horrible customer service. Delivery times are now slower than all other major retailers (who don't charge an inflated membership). Trying to resolve issues has become excruciating, as they have apparently outsourced their customer service department and you will be forced to speak with 2-3 agents who do not comprehend what you're saying. Amazon, af one time was a very cost effective and reliable retailer. Those days are gone. We have cancelled our prime membership after 7 years of holding a membership.

Amazon customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. Great if you want help ordering something, non existent if you have a problem or complaint. I have literally spent hours on the phone being transferred from one rep to another, sent numerous emails which were responded to by automatically generated replies saying they had received my email, and absolutely no follow up or human generated response. I will not be shopping at Amazon in the future.

I ordered MSI Crosshair 15 B12UGSZ-480CA 15.6" and have just received the laptop. When I bought this laptop there were two places to buy, (Amazon with higher price or Best Buy). I chose to buy it through Amazon (Because this item is sold and shipped by Amazon), and I believed that Amazon was a good company but I was wrong!!. When I received this laptop, and I turned it on, and I began to set-up & within seconds the screen started flickering, screen & Laptop glitched & remained stuck despite restarting the laptop & charging it. I spoke directly with Amazon's customer service to replace the item and I stayed on the line for more than 90minutes and their only option was to make a refund or to keep the defective laptop with me and give me 170.90CAD as a discount. I bought this laptop, a new laptop during cyber Monday that cost me 1940 CAD and I waited 2 weeks to receive it, but unfortunately it is defected (How does Amazon sell a defective product)?? and when I asked for a replacement for the same model I've already bought but a good one not a defected one (which is my right) they have just say sorry we can only refund you!! The price has gone up and I have to wait until next year for the Cyber Monday sale. I do not recommend buying any expensive deals through Amazon because they have the worst customer service ever!!

amazon canada used to be good but it has gotten so bad lately. 1. the search function doesnt work and the things that come up just seem to be sponsered products and amazons products so if you are looking for something specific it may be in the 1000s of things that come up but you wont find it 2.customer service is terrible 3. products have gotten cheaper and you cant really trust even the prime products They have clearly made the greed based decision to go for as many products as possible with no concern about quality 4.the delivery times have changes. so 2 day used to mean 2 day . now apparently it means that after they find and pack it then it will be a furthe 2 days so yeah thats p retty bad. So their two day could mean a week or even longer.

I have order 2 beds on 2 different occasions and have received neither. The excuse was "we have no control over 3rd party sellers". If you have no control then why are you offering their products? And why do I have to wait almost 2 months to be told the item will not be delivered. I can make an exception for one time but when it happens twice then it shows how irresponsible and unreliable Amazon is. Will think twice before ordering from Amazon again.

amazon is driving people crazy with so many non sense and stupid changes with returns and policies to the point of frustration and no desire to buy again, it is a waste of my time to figure out what to do with all your changes, please hire more experienced and better trained older workers that will know what to do, amazon can certainly afford it. Make things easier for customers instead of making it worse.

The blackview company said contact the seller, the seller never respond to anything, so I ask to make a complain against a seller, and no, I can't do that eighter!!! 150$ in the garbage!!! I was expecting it to last 1 year that's all!!! 2 months?? Amazon customer service is not the same anymore they don't care!!! AMAZON DELIVERY DRIVERS HAVE A LICENSE FOR LAZINESS! With the pandemic it was understandable that drivers would leave packages at your door instead of dealing with the customer in person, face to face. Now that were back to no restrictions you'd think an effort would be made to try to make a customer aware of the delivery by a knock on the door but no, that just gave some of these clueless individuals a license to be lazy and in the case of the last couple deliveries at our house, to be ignorantly clueless and leave the package(s) not just on the front door step, 5 ft. from the door so it's completely in plain view of the busy street traffic but they've left the packages in the rain!! Not in plastic but cardboard boxes, both times electronics and this one I may have to be returned but I doubt Amazon will care. Other delivery services send an email alert that the package was delivered, it should at least be a policy at Amazon to ring the bell/knock on door to alert the customers and leave the package at the door, not 5 ft away out in the open because they're too lazy to walk 3 extra feet. In this way, the Amazon service SUCKS highly disappointing !!

Amazon's business has been suffering lately. Here is one reason. When Amazon CA changed their shipping policy in Canada to require driving across town to a remote Purolator with some QR code instead of being able to print a label (even printing a Purolator label would be fine) it made it very difficult for a lot of Canadians to return products. As a result I cut my Amazon usage from about 45 orders every 3 months down to about 3 orders every 3 months plus canceling Amazon Prime. So they lost about 95% of my business. I wonder if a lot of other Canadians took their business elsewhere for the same reason. Not that we were the biggest part of their market, but it's perhaps indicative once a company starts taking their customer base for granted and no longer puts customers first, their growth is bound to do an about-face.

Refunds? Does that happen within a week? Place is an absolute joke. Canceled multiple items and receive bs emails with no mention of a refund. Huge waste of time

With all the free ways to get music these days why on earth would Amazon think I’d actually pay for this service?? There has to be at least a few perks to being an Amazon member, especially considering every competitor is offering fast shipping. Add to that the price increase they put on their membership I’m starting to wonder why anyone still uses them.

I ordered a new Breville espresso machine as a gift on amazon.ca. It is an expensive item but it came to the person who has a special occasion in an absolutely inappropriate state. The box was damaged and dirty, everything inside the box was also filthy and with numerous traces of use. The receiver of this gift came home specifically to get this gift and you can imagine her disappointment. I was very embarrassed. So, I contacted Amazon Support immediately. At first, they said that the best they can do is replace the item and give me a $10 promo balance, also to send this used item back I had to drop it off myself which I find completely unfair (the machine weights 11 kilos). I wasn't satisfied and in the end, they were ready to give me a $30 promo balance and refund the UPS pick-up service. The other two options were to get a full refund or to get a 30% discount and keep the used item. The next day I contacted the support again and to my greatest surprise, there was no trace of the earlier conversation. Amazon didn't store it. So, I had to explain the situation from scratch. In addition to that, the terms they offered the next day were even worse – no pickup available, 10$ promo balance, or 25% discount to keep the used item. I was really furious, and escalated the problem. The support guy promised me a call from a senior assistant within 48 hours but nobody called. Then, I had to contact them AGAIN. In the end, I've finally got a call but it was completely useless. The only thing they helped me with was the report for the technical issue of the lost chat conversation. All the proofs of the initial terms they had offered were in that chat. Extremely awful user experience. First of all, Amazon Support chat itself is really bad: you can't attach pictures there, they don't provide any chat reference for further convenience, and turned out they don't store chat history either. Besides that, the support team behaves really inconsistently and sometimes even rude: the terms they offer change over time; they don't keep their promises; terms, in general, are so bad, nobody cares about customer time and health. In the future, I will definitely avoid amazon.ca and amazon.com as diligently as I can.
