Excellent product bit too much of a hard sell I was going to buy or not on the price and aid I didn't need a hard sell

The main problem is keeping the aid in place where the wire goes into the auditory canal. Despite several attempts to have the plastic replaced the end result is not terrible satisfactory.

I wasn't looking forward to wearing hearing aids, but after patient coaxing and seeing the small size of the hearing aids I was persuaded and don't regret it. The series of follow-up appointments and gradual adjustment of volume has also made the experience much more palatable.

My new hearing aids are pretty good, though I thought them expensive I have to say. Giving clients some 'exchange value for their old ones would be good. Customer service excellent though; Paul, my audiologist in Leeds is certainly ther best Amplifon member of staff to look after me so far. Very competent and professional.

Still getting used to the aids, background too noisy. Service at New Cavendish st was excellent, good staff.

I was impressed by the after sales service; some companies, having made the sale tend to leave the customer to get on with it; Amplifon made significant effort to ensure that the aid performed satisfactorily, making several post-sale adjustments to achieve this. The inclusive insurance is also a valued bonus which has already benefited myself.

Amplifon certainly hasn’t made me happy. Worst set of hearing aids I have ever had. I believe the hearing aid and the company Amplifon are very dogged. My advice....stay away from them.

Interesting to se the comment about reception at Sutherland. I couldn't agree more. Audiologist however, was excellent. I also agree about the 'predatory' letters and aggressive 'phone calls. I have to make a decision this week about purchase following a trial. Bob

II spent two and a half years at Amplifon USA. Since the pandemic, the company has suffered significant losses while also gaining significantly. Recently, there has been a high turnover rate in management and salary positions. My former boss was hired in November 2020. He's never liked me since we first met in 2021. He wrote me up every month until I was out the door. This individual was hired by Amplifon from the automotive industry. He knows nothing about the business and is a terrible boss. The team was devastated when I announced my departure. Amplifon is a great company, but they seem to overlook potential and growth within the company, and it is the higher-ups who are ruining it.

Not at all satisfied . Poor service. Customers are not informed that availability of spare parts is available for only 5 years from the date of introduction of particular model. Almost every 6 month, there is a problem with Widex hearing aid purchased for around Rs.50,000/- and charges for the same are around Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 6000/- and take around 3 weeks to get the replacement of the part done.

It took around eight months eventually sort out my hearing aids, which do work well with my hearing problem, but the cost of maintenance, ie batteries, filters is more than I expected.

The Widex sound is not as natural as the Phonac was but the automatics are more advanced. The Widex peripherals such as Teledex are weak compared to the Phonac. Overall I wish I had been given more advice before renewing my aid. Amplifon service is much less personal than that given by the Glasgow Hearing Centre.

While I had no problem with the service at the Huddersfield Shop it was apparent within a day or two that the settings were not right for me. Yes I should have gone straight back with it but I was going through a seismic shift in my work and had to try and operate in a manager's role (told for 6 weeks) for nearly 7 months. When I was contacted by "the office" to go for a check etc. I gave notification that I was not at all happy with my aids. To be fair the settings are much better now but I was amazed that with all the technology available the settings were so far from what I need for my surrounds. It is one thing trying them out in a carpeted and quiet room but when one goes out into the "real world" the scene is very much different. As I said it is now much better but I was initially very disappointed.

The enormously expensive and sophisticated Widex Dream product is let down by a very obvious lack of awareness of customer needs suggesting low grade management in the central supply chain. As examples: the aid's carrying case has no provision for spare batteries or wax protectors. The Amplifon battery pack is of poor design functionally and absurdly the batteries are colour coded in camouflage brown to make them hard to see if dropped. Attempts to palm off this customer with counterfeit wax defenders that were not easily removed was not appreciated. Supplies of consumables should be available overnight by post. That said I have every confidence in the audiometrician.

I purchased hearing aids from the Lendrum, Amplifon hearing center in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and was charged $1760.00 and told the Ruby 2's were an upgrade. I later learned that this model of Oticon aids was 100 % covered by the Alberta government, aids to daily living for seniors, and was able to return them on the 90 day policy. I then purchased another pair of aids at another hearing center and they were completely covered by aids to daily living. I caution all seniors to ask around as the staff at the Lendrum Amplifon hearing center has no problem over charging me for my aids.

I bought Amplifon and am sorry I did! I have been back and forth to their office 5 times for adjustments and still they have me so frustrated I have them so loud I can only hear background noises or I can’t hear anybody. I am constantly having to ask what people are saying in shops or to my own family! Watching TV has become a chore and I still need subtitles as I can’t hear some stations. Certainly not worth the money or time going back and forth for adjustments that don’t make a scrap of difference to my life or make things any easier.

Taking up a "free" hearing test with Amplifon is akin to attending a sales pitch for Time Share Investments. For an unbiased medical opinion just visit your GP or any independent audiologist who has no invested interest in any one particular product.

Hi, don’t be duped Amplifon is not what you believe. I had to wait 5 weeks to get an appointment.today was the date due. I whent to the shop to hear that I didn’t have any appointments ,and the man I had the appointment with was not working there anymore. At least they could call me back to tell me that my appointment was cancelled. No sorry no apologies juste all normal routine for Amplifon. They’re good for selling but don’t expect anything for customers service.
