Genuinely one of the worst companies I've ever come across when it comes to customer service, communication and integrity. We have an issue with our washing machine, purchased through AO and insured through Domestic & General. A.N.D Domestics were sent to investigate. Firstly, the engineer (Richard) was rude from the outset - he told us that we didn't know how to use a washing machine, removed a small amount of dirt from the filter and left after reporting no fault found. I say left, but not before he had caused extensive damage to our kitchen floor trying to pull the machine out and dented our worktop with his tools. This was obviously reported to A.N.D, who do not return calls or emails despite many attempts. The admin team are blunt and refuse to allow callers to speak to the manager, apparently named Keith. We've been forced to take this down a legal route. Luckily, D&G have been excellent at dealing with our complaint which has helped ease the stress and burden of repairs. Long story short, if you're looking for a repair privately steer well clear of this cowboy business. If you use Domestic & General you should request anyone other than A.N.D to attend. Ultimately I don't mind as the courts won't take long to see where the issues are and who's at fault which only means a lot more expense for A.N.D themselves, silly really!

1 star is generous. AND Domestic moved my appointment from Friday to Monday at the last minute, costing me a day off work. On Monday, the engineer called saying he was looking for parking and would arrive shortly, then vanished without any update. After waiting over an hour, I called the office and was put on hold. When I finally spoke to the receptionist, she told me she wouldn’t help and hung up on me. I lost two days of unpaid work and still received no service. Completely unprofessional and a terrible customer experience.

Awful company. Our oven broke at the end of November, we arranged for it to be repaired immediately, enough time for it to be fixed by Christmas right? Wrong. It’s January now and it’s still broken, first the “engineer” went home sick and thus couldn’t come, then the second guy was in the house less than two minutes, glanced into the oven and decided he needed to order a part, I guess they don’t actually read the fault notes, nor look at the actual video I send where I explained what was wrong, in detail, now I can’t get in contact with anyone, I’ve been trying for three weeks. Christmas and new year were ruined, as how can I host when i had nowhere to cook! We have the address, of this company, they are actually very close by, so if they haven’t contacted us by Wednesday (being very generous and giving them another week) we will be driving over and seeing them in person.

Engineer came said he had fixed dishwasher To call if there was a problem after he left Dishwasher did not drain and flooded floor which was original problem I called I waited for 30 mins at no 9 Called back waited 2 hours 30 mins got to no 3 phone cut off Called again waited 2 hours 33 mins got to no 2 message says closed now Domestic and General should find another company in my opinion D and G have supplied engineers for my washing machine who have all provided excellent service Do not use unless you have no choice

Joke of a company, no one answers phones- with domestic and general and they use this joke of a company- and filing a complaint with D&G and the ombudsmen for AND.

I have been waiting in all day for an engineer, 4 hours and 53 minutes on hold currently as I wasnt given the 2 hour time slot. What a waste of a day, I could have been working! Why have Domestic and General subcontracted these cowboys i do not know! - star rating.

This is truly the most dreadful company I have ever had the misfortune to come across, can’t say that I have used because after SEVEN WEEKS I am still without a working cooker and no date for when it will be fixed. They were assigned to us by Pacifica as my cooker was still under warranty, would never have chosen them just from their reviews alone. As most of the other reviews they never answer their telephone, held on for 2 hours and 45 minutes as Pacifica told me they have the part and I need to make an appointment with them to fit it – impossible!! They have made 2 appointments previously, both cancelled on the day, 2 wasted days off work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, unprofessional and are obviously very proud of it too, treat their customers with utter contempt. Have left a 1 star review as there is not an option for Zero star.

Oh dear, if I'd have known Britannia sub contract to these clowns I wouldn't have bothered. Serious cow boy outfit. I was on hold for over 2.5 hours. I will be pursuing Pacifica for more than a refund.

We took out their “ paid “ service for our Britannia oven after learning Britannia no longer mended their appliances and this company was now doing their repairs. We booked an appointment to get their engineer to come look at the oven and mend and they cancelled on us and said we should re book ( they didn’t bother to reschedule) hence we have now spent three separate afternoons for three hours holding each time….. and conveniently when we became number one in the queue they disconnected. Seems rather fishy if you ask me and we would NOT recommend anyone to this company Would rate ZERO if possible

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I could give no stars I would. LG sent the job to pacifica who sub contracted out to this company. I have a washer dryer that is less than a year old. Appointment was booked for 11/11 cancelled the job as ordering parts yet haven’t even looked at my machine or even spoke to me. I now have a washing machine that doesn’t work with 2 children under 5. Apparently they had a part delivered to my address on Wednesday yet I’ve not recieved anything. Trying to ring them is pointless as they don’t answer the phone I’ve held for 3 hours twice this week with no answer. Shocking company.

I used to use this company a decade ago when it used to be under different ownership, and it was good ( hence good reviews from about 6 years ago here) but in the last 5 years, since changing hands, this company has been absolutely abysmal. They cancelled three appointments at the last minute, which is a nightmare for me, since I work for the NHS, and getting an unplanned day off is like getting blood out of a stone. When the engineer arrived, he wasn’t interested in seeing the washing machine, diagnosing what was wrong without asking me or looking at the machine. I’m talking refusing to go to the room where the machine was situated. So far it has cost me £220 for parts, which after 3 months still hasn’t arrived. It’s impossible to get through to them on the phone , with more than 90 minute waits. AVOID!

My oven repair was sub-contracted to them. Engineer showed up 3 hours late, said he needed a part and then I never heard from them again. I phoned numerous time spending 1+ hours on hold, no-one ever picked up. Turns out the problem was a loose wire, which another company fixed on the spot no parts. Have reclaimer my money through Pacifica who I contracted to do the job. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.!

A.N.D Domestics were assigned by Domestic & General to repair my washing machine, and the whole experience has been beyond frustrating. No one seems to know what’s happening with my repair or where my part even is. Every time I try to get an update, I’m met with confusion and no answers. Today, I’ve spent nearly 7 hours on hold — and for the last 3 and a half hours I’ve been stuck in position 1 in the queue! That’s completely unacceptable. It’s impossible to get through to anyone or get a clear update. The lack of communication and customer care is shocking. I genuinely regret having to go through this company and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Popped into your shop a week ago, explained the problem with my dishwasher. You asked me to email the serial number and make. Still waiting for a reply! Found a lovely man who came within a couple of days and did a great job. I assume you don't need the business

This company are completely disgrace ripped off my relative with electrics took 2000 pounds and wouldn't take any responsibility they caused so much agro had to get another electrician out to rectify 12 fault they had made so very expensive they have the talk but shoddy work so angry so never use these cowboys ever again please be aware

One of the worst companies ive ever had the (dis)pleasure of using. Not sure why Domestic and General even touch this lot with a barge pole. A simple replacement part and they cant even do that right. Instead they say not fixable and cause D&G to cancel a warranty plan. Absolute joke of a company who should be out of business. If i see them come up again for anything ill be running as far as possible! Complete jokers.
