4 hours 40min on hold and still going. Avoid at all costs.

I have been waiting in all day for an engineer, 4 hours and 53 minutes on hold currently as I wasnt given the 2 hour time slot. What a waste of a day, I could have been working! Why have Domestic and General subcontracted these cowboys i do not know! - star rating.

This is truly the most dreadful company I have ever had the misfortune to come across, can’t say that I have used because after SEVEN WEEKS I am still without a working cooker and no date for when it will be fixed. They were assigned to us by Pacifica as my cooker was still under warranty, would never have chosen them just from their reviews alone. As most of the other reviews they never answer their telephone, held on for 2 hours and 45 minutes as Pacifica told me they have the part and I need to make an appointment with them to fit it – impossible!! They have made 2 appointments previously, both cancelled on the day, 2 wasted days off work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, unprofessional and are obviously very proud of it too, treat their customers with utter contempt. Have left a 1 star review as there is not an option for Zero star.

Oh dear, if I'd have known Britannia sub contract to these clowns I wouldn't have bothered. Serious cow boy outfit. I was on hold for over 2.5 hours. I will be pursuing Pacifica for more than a refund.

We took out their “ paid “ service for our Britannia oven after learning Britannia no longer mended their appliances and this company was now doing their repairs. We booked an appointment to get their engineer to come look at the oven and mend and they cancelled on us and said we should re book ( they didn’t bother to reschedule) hence we have now spent three separate afternoons for three hours holding each time….. and conveniently when we became number one in the queue they disconnected. Seems rather fishy if you ask me and we would NOT recommend anyone to this company Would rate ZERO if possible

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I could give no stars I would. LG sent the job to pacifica who sub contracted out to this company. I have a washer dryer that is less than a year old. Appointment was booked for 11/11 cancelled the job as ordering parts yet haven’t even looked at my machine or even spoke to me. I now have a washing machine that doesn’t work with 2 children under 5. Apparently they had a part delivered to my address on Wednesday yet I’ve not recieved anything. Trying to ring them is pointless as they don’t answer the phone I’ve held for 3 hours twice this week with no answer. Shocking company.

I used to use this company a decade ago when it used to be under different ownership, and it was good ( hence good reviews from about 6 years ago here) but in the last 5 years, since changing hands, this company has been absolutely abysmal. They cancelled three appointments at the last minute, which is a nightmare for me, since I work for the NHS, and getting an unplanned day off is like getting blood out of a stone. When the engineer arrived, he wasn’t interested in seeing the washing machine, diagnosing what was wrong without asking me or looking at the machine. I’m talking refusing to go to the room where the machine was situated. So far it has cost me £220 for parts, which after 3 months still hasn’t arrived. It’s impossible to get through to them on the phone , with more than 90 minute waits. AVOID!

My oven repair was sub-contracted to them. Engineer showed up 3 hours late, said he needed a part and then I never heard from them again. I phoned numerous time spending 1+ hours on hold, no-one ever picked up. Turns out the problem was a loose wire, which another company fixed on the spot no parts. Have reclaimer my money through Pacifica who I contracted to do the job. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.!

A.N.D Domestics were assigned by Domestic & General to repair my washing machine, and the whole experience has been beyond frustrating. No one seems to know what’s happening with my repair or where my part even is. Every time I try to get an update, I’m met with confusion and no answers. Today, I’ve spent nearly 7 hours on hold — and for the last 3 and a half hours I’ve been stuck in position 1 in the queue! That’s completely unacceptable. It’s impossible to get through to anyone or get a clear update. The lack of communication and customer care is shocking. I genuinely regret having to go through this company and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Popped into your shop a week ago, explained the problem with my dishwasher. You asked me to email the serial number and make. Still waiting for a reply! Found a lovely man who came within a couple of days and did a great job. I assume you don't need the business

This company are completely disgrace ripped off my relative with electrics took 2000 pounds and wouldn't take any responsibility they caused so much agro had to get another electrician out to rectify 12 fault they had made so very expensive they have the talk but shoddy work so angry so never use these cowboys ever again please be aware

One of the worst companies ive ever had the (dis)pleasure of using. Not sure why Domestic and General even touch this lot with a barge pole. A simple replacement part and they cant even do that right. Instead they say not fixable and cause D&G to cancel a warranty plan. Absolute joke of a company who should be out of business. If i see them come up again for anything ill be running as far as possible! Complete jokers.

AND contacted me to book visit for issue on a 3 week old range cooker. The person who called me was professional and pleasant. Engineer who turned up was highly arrogant and patronising. Tells me it is normal for the fan not to start immediately and the knobs to get hot. I told him manual says fan should come on immediately , told me manual is wrong. Asked him to please put all of this in writing in case of future damage to the cooker. Got abusive . Asked him to give contact details for his manager he refused, told me I am stopping him doing his job and left. If you don't want to have experiences like this then go elsewhere.

How many A.N.D visits does it take to repair a fridge/freezer...........? I am on visit No. 4 and counting - the engineers themselves are very pleasant but cannot seem to fix what appears to be a simple repair on my appliance. The wait time on their phone line is beyond absurd and I am literally pulling my hair out. I have insurance with Domestic and General, who referred me to A.N.D. Domestic, but D&G cannot get through to them either. Perhaps more Customer Service staff is required A.N.D?????

Terrible service, I wish there were negative stars. They were assigned a washing machine repair job by Hisense for my washing machine which is in warranty. The engineer turned up randomly at 7.30 am without any notice while I was told I will get a two hour slot a day before the appointment (which I did not). He came to fix a semi broken washing machine and broke it down completely. Later when we raised this, we were told again to go through Hisense, which has now left me with a completely broken washing machine for two weeks. There is no accountability for a problem caused by the engineer. Terrible beyond measure. If you see this company - RUN. Don’t use them even if it’s the last service in the world.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOTHING SHORT OF A DISRGACE. Engineer turned up with the wrong equipment for induction hob instead of gas cooker. Took one look at it, said it was unfixable even thought it was a quick fix. Still trying to get it fixed 2 months later!! AND are not taking any responsibility. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. I WOULD GIVE THEM A 0/5 IF I COULD.

Appalling customers service - 1 star is being generous. Waited over a month for my the parts, which i had to chase and suggest ways of getting it quicker. my appliance an still faulty and back to square one after weeks of waiting. Told more than once it will arrive when it arrives, i was refused to be switched to an alternative operative, which resulted in the phone being put down on me a total of times. so much more i could add but run out of space. The Engineer however was amazing and couldn't be more helpful - 10/10 for him 0/10 for AND

I’ve only given 1 Star because I can’t give lower. Keith literally robs you. I paid £118 call out charge for an engineer to fixed my fridge/freezer. The engineer diagnosed I needed a new compressor. He said AND don’t repair/replace compressors and he left. I called the shop and was told they in fact replace them but they would need to get me a quote. I received a call saying the fridge was discontinued and party wasn’t available for them to fit. I then found the part myself and ordered it. I contacted AND immediately to book the engineer to return and fit the part and they refused to return, even though the call out fee of £118 includes fitting the part! I spoken to Molly everytime I called who was as helpful as she could be. Keith is the business owner and everytime Molly needed to check with him and he refused to talk to me directly. I asked if they could refund the £118 since they were not prepared to fit the part that they lied and said was discontinued!! And Keith told Molly to tell me no. Keith should be ashamed refusing to talk to me, and lying about discontinued parts to avoid completing the job I paid for. Absolutely dreadful service. I will be contacting my bank to reclaim my money back for a service I didn’t receive. Be very careful with using this awful small business.

Should have read the reviews before handing my hard earned money over to this cowboy company. what a waste of time…. I have no words. What should have been a pretty straight forward repair has turned into the greatest repair of all time. Call out charge was fine but then comes the problem…. 3rd time lucky after paying out for parts these weren’t needed though they said they were and still the machine isn’t working plus a damaged floor which doesn’t seem to bother them. I’m beyond words….. the phone lines are terrible… the attitude of the staff laughable like talking to teenagers with the attitude to match. Not sure how many staff they have covering the calls but the same “girl” keeps answering with the same crappy attitude.who basically told me “well what do you want me to do”…one call went through to a actual adult who was lovely who calmed Me down and apologised wish I remembered her name she deserves a medal for just working there , a Linda or leesha , can’t remember but they should all get trained by her she was my only reassurance ….cowboys from beginning to end….they need to be reported money taking shoddy service company AVOID AVOID AVOID. They will be reported.
