Placed an order, all in stock. 12 days later not heard or received anything. I got in touch by email and am told an item is out of stock and they're waiting for new stock before sending. In the meantime I have no Renal cat food for my elderly cat with kidney disease. Terrible service, always found their deliveries slow compared to other companies. I won't be using them again, that's it no more chances Animed.

Have been with this company for a long time. Recently they seem to have delays in answering the phone and delays in dispatching items yet we still get emails advertising their products. The latest problem is that they have run out of my dogs tablets. Have they been reordered, don’t know, when will they be in stock, don’t know, is there a manager too complain to, no, never any available. The last time this happened the stock showed as six tablets available, we wanted sixty on prescription, they have the prescription. Because the computer showed six in stock, no new order was placed as it showed stock available. Surely this antiquated order system is a waste of time. Can the computer not be set to reorder when it reaches a reasonable level, not six. For a company that says it is there for our pets somebody needs to look at their systems and delays. Angry and bitter about customer service.

Have used Animed for couple years buying same prescription repeat medication On the last order they changed the type without consultation to a chewing one rather than the dog’s usual swallow type which we mixed in with food I requested in a telephone call to return the wrong medication and was told by the call handler that she could see the previous orders we’re always for the swallowing type and that was changed without consent or consultation I was unaware that there is two types of pill speaking to other vets and suppliers they sell the swallowing type as these are more easily administered Animed say they are not going to do anything about it and do not reply to my email Be cautious dealing with this company, which I believe are unethical after paying them hundreds of pounds they don’t even have the decency to reply to me

July 2022. I read some of the reviews, prior to placing an order for the first time. However, my experience has been extremely positive. Placing the order was a simple process. I paid for Express Delivery and found the tracking system very helpful. The order arrived on the day and well within the timescale. I will definitely order through Animed again!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are aggressive and did not send my medication for my elderly dog that has been using it for years and years. The prescription was valid and they charged me £20 for emailing me to say they did not think the prescription was valid. They are unethical and you would be better off using PetDrugsOnline or Viovet.

I cant believe they still have stock showing on web site that they have emailed me to say is out of stock. When I ordered it was in stock!! They need to update their computer systems on web sites. It is giving incorrrect info. Doesnt help still with a dog who has to have special food & its out of stock.

I ordered some diabetic canned and dry food for my dog who has recently been diagnosed with diabetes. I paid express delivery and four days later I still hadn't received the food. No emails either. I rang and was told they couldn't check anything as the system was down. I did get a refund but I wasted four days waiting - ordered elsewhere for free next day delivery. Would never order from Animed again. Not even worth the one star.

I placed an order for renal cat food and paid for express delivery, after a week I had not even received a despatch email, I contacted and spoke with someone who could give me no explanation of why this had happened. I requested a refund which would take three days and I am still waiting for a supervisor to contact me with an explanation. Should be a no star option!!

Ordered an in stock item. Paid extra for express delivery as I needed it and two days later still not despatched! Apparently the 1-3 days delivery quoted on the site is after processing time which can take 2 days! Customer service terrible 1st call I was told its my mistake the website says 2-5 days so I checked incase it was my mistake and it says 1-3 days. Called back and was told I would get a phone call confirming its leaving today. No call came

It is apparent something is seriously wrong at this company. I've been using them for some time and have always been happy with service but having placed my latest order almost two weeks ago and with no signs of receiving special food for my wee dog I have tried to contact them- to no avail. It is absolutely impossible to get through on telephone and of course they are not responding to emails. They obviously must know how they are letting down their customers - question is why. Why would a company such as this suddenly become so busy. I fear the worse - that I have just given them a £92 contribution! I hope I am wrong.

Wow this is an appalling company!! Paid extra for express delivery and am still waiting for my order. You can never get through to them on the phone . My pet needs this medication urgently , do they not understand !! They obviously do not care for pets , they grab your money and do not deliver . I will be telling others about this fraudulent company . A first time customer they have definitely now lost!!

Animed is a crooked company that will distort the facts as it suits them in order to hold on to your money. Rude, obnoxious, arrogant, uncaring PIRATES.....stay away..if I could I would give them minus stars....this company should not be allowed to steal from customers or be in business at all.

Ordered medication for my elderly dog, who very sadly died the day after I placed the order. I emailed Animed to cancel the order and they said it was too late it had already been despatched. However, when I checked the tracking site it was not even listed and when it was it was noted as despatched the day after I cancelled the order. I told Animed that I would not be in to receive the order and it would therefore be returned to them, which it was by the GPO. Animed still insisted that they would not give me a refund and that it would be incinerated if returned to them. They say once medication has left their company it cannot be reused by themselves, even though it was returned directly to them in the same packaging and completely sealed. They are therefore saying that the medication was in good enough order to be used by myself, but not good enough to be returned and put back into their stock. It was a stock item and not one specifically produced for my dog. It also had a very long shelf life. I paid by credit card and my bank are investigating this on my behalf. I have used Animed regularly but clearly they are only interested in making a profit and have no loyalty or feeling for their customers. Completely heartless and unsympathetic in the circumstances.

This is one of the worst websites I’ve ever dealt with. Tried to order prescriptions for my three cats. Placed order and emailed scans of prescriptions as asked. Received nothing. A week later, emailed to ask where it was. Only then did I get a form letter email saying there was “an issue” with my prescriptions. But it didn’t say what!!! I re-sent the scans, plus took pictures and sent those. Again nothing. Further emails led to more confusion as they seemed to have got one but not the other two. More emails. Then ANOTHER form letter same as before. Tried phoning the 0300 number many times - always engaged. Another email. They said they were processing the order but then I got the same form letter about “issues”. Aaaaargh! I went to a competitor’s website, Pet Drugs Online where I placed the order, sent the scans and got confirmation within 10 MINUTES. The medicine arrived the next morning less than 24 hours after ordering. Now THAT is how to do business.

Paid for express delivery, on the website I was told a specific day that the product would be delivered. The product was not even dispatched to the later of the two dates. When I rang up to complain, some snooty woman was very unapologetic, and refused to refund the Express delivery I had paid I would not use this company again

Ordered an item 22/11/14 and had an email to say it had been dispatched 23/11/14. Item hadn't arrived in a few days so emailed customer services to ask if all was ok with the order. They told me delivery can be up to 5 business days following dispatch. It has now been 8 business days and still nothing. Have emailed again today but am expecting to be fobbed off again!

I’ve used Animed for years and have always been satisfied. However this week I ordered Prednidale (Prednisolone) 5mg. The prescription from my vet stated this exactly. Animed refused to Issue the prescription saying as I’d put Prednisolone on the request they could t issue it and I had to get a new prescription from my Vet. My vet said it was very silly, and that I would have to pay another £22. Animed refused again to issue the Prednisolone so I’ve now gone elsewhere. Very poor customer service. No one rang me back. A different person emailed me each time and I had to keep repeating myself. Useless.

VERY DISAPPOINTED AS A LOYAL CUSTOMER WONT USE OR RECOMMEND AGAIN!! Have always used Animed when our Border Terrier required specialist Royal Canin food after being diagnosed with digestive problem. When I came to order my dog's usual food I noticed prices had rocketed and therefore compared to other suppliers!! I brought this to Animed's attention as I had received many emails reminding me to reorder my dog's food. I emailed them back to tell them they were not competitive and also that I was yet to receive any special offers, as I was promised some months ago. Their response - emailed to say they would remove me from their email circ. list!!

I ordered medication for my dog on Jan 4th, supplied the prescription but to date, 23/01/ 23 they have not been delivered Apparently Royal Mail have lost them . I have called six times to date and will have to contact them again tomorrow Last Tuesday Animed were going to contact Royal Mail to establish what had happened to the order This afternoon after yet another phone call to customer service I am informed by email that I still need to wait for Royal Mail to complete their investigation. My dog has now run out of tablets needed to control his epilepsy and Animed are unable to tell me when if ever I will receive my order, although by their own admission if they have to resend the order it is going to be several more days at best Obviously I will never use this company again , that is , if my dog survives until I can get more tablets , but want to make others aware of exactly how bad their customer service is
