When the item arrived, the packaging was visibly opened and the product was scratched and damaged.
I contacted Aosom immediately requesting a full refund, as is my right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Instead, Aosom offered only £50 compensation and refused to issue a full refund, even though the item was clearly not “as described” and arrived defective.
This is unacceptable customer service and a clear breach of UK consumer protection law.
I am now forced to escalate the issue via Clearpay and Trading Standards.
I would strongly advise anyone to be extremely cautious when dealing with Aosom.
Customer service is poor, and they refuse to respect basic consumer rights.”

It was a little tight - I know it needs to be , but time will tell if it’s too tight and rips.( our previous roof lasted 5 years) I’m not sure the corners will survive the stretch for that long.
