“This was not a pleasant experience. First document – PCC and Apostille: Paid an exorbitant fee for the Priority PCC service on 3 December 2021 which should have taken 4 to 7 working days. 5 Jan 2022, followed up again, thinking we were awaiting the Apostille, only to be told that it had not been done and suddenly a different copy of ID was requested (an entire month later!). PCC Apostille was finally ready on 23 Jan – a whopping 82 days after payment made. It then took an additional 6 days to reach me in CT via courier. After numerous follow ups and a formal requests, I received a partial refund due to the massive delay of the PCC Second document – Apostille Driver’s License: I submitted my Driver’s license for Apostille and after 5 weeks was told it was ready for courier – I replied immediately (within 20 minutes) confirming address. 6 days later I followed up as still had not received the document only to be told it had not even been sent yet! I completely understand that apostil.co.za staff have no control over government department workings and timing, however, the “controllable” admin errors/oversights at their offices are what I take exception to. No explanation is ever given for these delays, and it is incredibly unfortunate that this lack of dedication causes massive impact on people’s lives and futures.”
