If you do not mind waiting 12 week you can use this Conpany otherwise horrible at getting you your Apostile documents on time.

Your apostilles took "long" because that's how long it took DIRCO to verify the signatures on the documents you provided. Normally it's 6-8 weeks and sometimes longer; you did not opt for the expedited option of 2 weeks. We wish you all the best going forward.

We picked the expedited option for birth certificates and a marriage certificate. The marriage certificate took almost two months with little communication and a lot of frustration from our side. Would not recommend.

Hi Gloria, our timing specifically says 4-8 weeks and longer if you have no marriage register (which you did not have). So we fail to see how we deserve only one star, given that we delivered in less time than anticipated. That said, we take your comment to heart and wish you the best for the future! Our door is open to assist if you ever need it.

Absolutely appalled by this Service provider! To all expats that want to conduct a Renunciation from abroad, I’d advise against utilizing Apostil for this and to rather save yourself the overpriced service fee and get it done through the Embassy or Consulate. It’s does NOT take as advertised on their website between 6-12 Weeks. I’ve been waiting 6 Months now with no feedback or informative correspondence from Apostil. Extremely poor customer service!

THIS IS A SCAM. I paid Apostil for a police clearance which Apostil advertises will take 15-30 days. Payment was made over two months ago, 23 Jan and it's now 28 Mar 2023. I have left three messages on their answering service for the manager to return my calls (Jesse Green, I believe) but with no response. I have been dealing with Lerato who has stopped responding to my emails and calls. I think that they offer nothing more than you can get from applying yourself at a police station.

Very disappointed that this company advertises that they can get police clearances quicker than the normal processing times but seem not to be able to do this. Especially disappointing when you live abroad.

I am very unhappy with the service I received concerning our PPC's. I was never updated about the progress and every time i send an email it was the same reply. Apparently the department of records at the police stations's scanner broke down. How long does it take to repair it? If i didn't make contact with Apostil they would have never came back to me. I paid a really big amount and if this problem isn't sorted out quickly I want a refund! And will then use another company. I was in conversation with Cherese Besuidenhout!!!!!!

I was a little dubious about using Apostil, but after good communication during enquiry I had hopes of a useful service that would get me a police clearance certificate in time for a visa application appointment. Unfortunately, as the estimated period of time I paid for started to draw to a close, communication has been poorer and poorer, until I have now had no replies for almost a week, and where I am now over double the estimated period I paid for. No idea if I will ever receive the document at this stage, and it could likely cost me the high expense of the visa and my studies it is for. I'd now say to only risk using this service if you aren't restricted to a short time period, and if you're willing to take a risk to try and speed up the usual SAPS waiting time. I hope that Apostil can still provide me with the document and change my mind, although it is far from the service I paid and hoped for.

I paid for the express service for a police certificate to be cleared within 4-7 working days. The communication has been poor and I am I am still waiting. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Dear Chelsea, as mentioned countless times to you, the service has been delayed by SAPS, not our office. We've communicated this to you upfront and correctly, numerous times.

Terrible communication and withheld my documentation. Won't ever recommend.

We are sorry you felt let down, but neither did we withhold any documentation, nor communicate poorly. We called and emailed often and informed you of what the department was telling us, at all points. We understand your documentation, like every clients, is urgent and important.

I applied for an Unabridged birth certificate and letter of no indempment with translation to Portuguese on 5 October 2021. I am in Portugal to get married. My documents was couriered only in June 2022. I received copies and not original birth certificate. The apostille of the unabridged birth certificate was done incorrectly. I then received another copy and then later the original unabridged birth certificate. It expires now 11 January 2022. I paid almost R22 000 for these two documents and I will not be able to use it or get married because it is due to expire. I begged, cried and pleaded on a weekly basis. I am now sitting with old documents. How will I get new ones that is valid. I have until 26 August 2022 to get married or I will be deported. Portugal SEF can't give my longer VISA. So I am very very upset, sad, feel cheated. My life are being ruined. I trusted the process and was let down big time.

We spent a huge amount of time and effort on your instructions. After reviewing the scans of your documents, nothing was completed incorrectly. The time delays were caused by the departments (Home Affairs and DIRCO), as explained to you on both email and the phone.

I was saddened by the fact that the team delayed the documents for a week and kept on telling me that it was already submitted. I got to know this after chatting to DIRCO. I expected the team to be faster on their side , as we can't control DIRCO's time. Even after raising it to their management they made me feel that delaying documents at their side is normal and i am making fuss about it. For my case it would have made a difference if I could have recvd the docs a week earlier. I don't say don't use them but if I have urgency I won't go to them. There was only one person in their team, but not responsible for Pretoria, whom I felt had customer empathy. Opposite to my expectations, I find DIRCO very approachable, replying every email query. So next time I will go directly.

My experience thus far - I paid for the PCC Front of Queue service of 4-7 days (R7239). On the 10th day I was informed that SAPS had shut down due to power issues. This lasted for 5 days. Another 6 days has passed since SAPS was back on and Apostil.co still have no idea. I am told that they go daily to request the PCC. Communication is NEVER proactive and I am told that I will receive communication when they have received the PCC (no one really knows when that could be). Yesterday I was offered a R2000 refund! A total of 19 (-5) days has passed and no PCC in site! Beware that Apostil will remind you that the timing is an 'estimate'. To Apostil, here is a definition of Estimate - to form an approximate judgment. Right now we are at a 100% deviation and counting...

The delay you have experienced is solely due to SAPS, as you know and as we have told you many times. We do not have to give you any refund at all, and offered this solely as a gesture of understanding.

My apostille was certified on 1 February 2021 and collected by this company on 9 February 2021. I supplied them with my courier details on 9 February 2021 and it was only sent via courier to me on 14 February 2021. I am now being told it won't be delivered to me today but only tomorrow after a 'change made by the courier'? I had to call the offices 16 times since the 9 February 2021 and send multiple emails to try get the apostille sent to me. Their phone is often turned off with an out of office message even though we're within office hours.

We cannot understand how our work for you deserved a one-star review, together with incorrect and unfair comments. We did everything correctly and only the courier company had poor service, not us. We answer our phones and emails promptly, our phones are never turned off and only diverted to our mailbox after hours. Your review would be better suited to the courier firm who created the delay.

Original apostil document has been missing for 6 weeks, no helpful updates or feedback from Deirdre Tempers. Terrible service, would not recommend. I had to call the courier myself for an update.

This review is unfair and incorrect - the courier has made errors, not us. Contrary to this review, we have, without needing to, at our own cost, undertaken to replace the document in question, with no thanks from this client.

We applied and paid through u for our unabridged birth certificates, this was in May 2021. We have received nothing, no comments, the only time anyone communicates is whe I send an email. Several days ago I sent an email and asked for the application ref number to DHA and my email was completely ignored. 4 days later and still waiting. What a sad service. Am definitely going to put reviews on social media

I've waited a month before posting as I wanted to be level headed. Plainly, if you're paying money to use this service for some peace of mind, you're wasting your money. I was happy with the service until I wasn't. Being a calm patient customer proved the wrong approach. Apostil had my no impediment letter in their possesion for 2 weeks after they had told me it was with the Taiwan liaison office. I only found this out by contacting the Taiwan liaison office myself directly. Apostil only then admitted the mistake but would not deliver my document to the liaison offcie as they "could not" get an appointment due to "lockdown & covid protocols" I was able to set up an appointment for them from another country dealing with the liasion office directly! If you want this kind of service, save your money and deal with Home Affairs directly.

We do not feel a 1-star review is warranted. Granted, we had a rare delay and we understand your frustration, but we assisted you from abroad in every way we could. We did contact the Taiwan Office and told you what they told us - the way they work is not our fault. To anyone reading this review - it does not reflect the normal experience with Apostil.

I used Apostil to secure a copy of my Birth Certificate. I was told it would take four weeks normally however this might take as long as 7 weeks because of Covid. It is now 10 weeks since I ordered the document and it has not been provided. Service is poor with updates only provided if you specifically write to request an update. In truth the organisation does not seem to be able to influence the timeframes required to secure government documentation and charges exorbitant fees for providing no value. Definitely would not recommend using this service.
