“This is my 3rd IPhone which are great phones big apple service and support has crashed through the floor.
If I could give Apple zero stars for support I would.
Apple made a big fuss about how they would replace battery's in iPhones for £25 after they were found to be deliberately slowing phones down with battery's over a year old in an effort to boost new phone sales.
I have visited Edinburgh Apple Store 3 times in 2018 the first in June when the guy checked my phone and said yes it qualified but told me to leave it until Oct Nov nearer the end date of December.
I returned in Oct and was to.d they were busy and could not fit me in.
I returned in November and surprise surprise was told they were busy and could not fit me in.
I tried their Storfront Apple Store in Dundee and surprise surprise they could not fit me in but after checking offeried me a 3.30pm appointment on Monday 26th ...which is clearly not possible for anyone working.
I feel this is a deliberate con by Apple who are doing everything they can to prevent replacing batteries at low cost.”
“Just bought two Apple iPhone 8's what a load of rubbish. Either wont load contacts or if it does they disappear immediately. Sending them back for a refund will by a Samsung at least they are reliable and don't rely on icloud and all the other apple pay for add ons.”
“I purchased a phone on contract via a provider and person living in my house for a short time who left put this phone into lost mode, this phone is only 3 months old and apple can do nothing to take the lost mode off even though I have sent them bank statements and proof of purchase that person mentioned did this maliously, so please be aware when getting an iphone that the security is good if you loose the phone but if accidently put in lost mode they cannot help.”

My daughter snapped the charger in the charging port. Went to Apple Store and was told (by 3 different people) that it can't be fixed and that I need to replace my iPhone and pay 289GBP!!
went to a private lab - the guy in the lab took my phone, withdrew the broken piece, cleaned the charging port and gave me my phone (after checking it's charging) - all in less then 20 seconds!!”
