“We had a really good holiday. Mobile home was clean and plenty of space. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Much better than 2 years ago. Felt there could have been more waiting/bar staff on in the evenings. V busy as Easter holidays.”

“Great accommodation at Hunters quay. The on site facilities are great however it feels as though they are not big enough. The entertainment room is very small. There was no way to get a seat unless you were planning on being there for it starting.”

“The accommodation and facilities were very good. The only negative comment I have was the waiting time for food within the Drymsinie House Hotel on Saturday evening, we waiting over an hour for our mains then another hour for the sweet.”

“Excellent location, the log cabin we booked had plenty of room for 8 people , there was no indoor bowling or snooker due to building works going on at the reception area that we didn't know about , but still plenty to do for the kids, overall a great holiday”

“We stayed in a lodge in February. It was comfortable and warm with great views across the water. The kitchen is equiped for cooking with a cooker / oven and microwave and toaster. The bedrooms are comfortable and storage space is adequate. There is enough parking outside the lodge for more than one vehicle. The club house has a good selection of meals in the bar There are 2 pools and jaccuzi , sauna, steam room and a gym.There is also a childrens play area. There are other sporting activities available, bookable at the club house .Its a short drive to Dunoon with shops and other restaurants . The countryside around the area is lovely. We had a very enjoyable visit and shall be back again”

“We stayed in a lapwing 1 lodge very clean, and comfortable could do with larger fridge/freezer as its a family lodge. Over all a great holiday.”

“We arrived late (21:30) but were still given a friendly welcome. The facilities were in the process of being re-modelled and are very clean and smart. A great place to stay, we shall return.”

“We stayed in a lodge with a hot tub for a short break and the accommodation was fantastic, very clean and comfortable and the hot tub felt like a real luxury looking out over spectacular scenery. The complex as a whole was very well maintained, with a well stocked shop on site. The restaurant/grill was very comfortable with nice atmosphere, food was reasonable and reasonably priced, staff were very busy but always very polite and helpful. The entertainment on site was good for those with younger family, bit passed our kids. There was also a funhouse room with pool tables, play area and various gaming machines which was great for entertaining all ages. Only downside of funhouse room was the fact many children/teenagers were running riot with no respect fir the equipment, surroundings or any other people using the facilities, it seemed that some parents used it as a dumping ground for their kids to run amock! A real shame! We had pre booked 2 activity sessions as booking was recommended, my boys enjoyed the sea scooters/snorkelling but unfortunately we're unwell on the day we were to do archery, we were not permitted a refund so were left approx £50 out of pocket !!!!! We discovered two fantastic places nearby for activities, Quadmania and Argyll Adventures, would highly recommend both, you can find details for both online and also leaflets in the reception area on site. Overall, we had a great short break and we would recommend to others.”

“Lovely place, plenty facilities, quite an expense to stay in the large hot tub lodge but very nice inside, the food up at the bar is lovely but a terribly long time to wait for it, we had a table booked for 7pm with our young child and didn't get our meal till after half eight. Something needs to be looked into here as service is very slow and people are hungry and want to enjoy a meal out with time left over to enjoy the rest of the evening.”

“We love drymsyie.. we visit twice a year.. just,love it,..everything is spotless..my one and complaint is we have two dogs and pay £35 each, and,cannot take them in when we want to go for a lunch hAve,to shut them In the car... not a good thing if it's a really hot day..wish it was more dog from friendly.. a wee area inside.....”
