“I Artizan coffee for at least a year now. I get the pods that are designed for my Nespresso machine and they work beautifully. I love that they are compostable. I buy both regular and decaf versions as I drink a mix of the two together. Customer Service has also been great when needed.”

“I want to find an espresso that is recyclable. I am trying to replace my fav non recyclable pod “Peets 10 intensity Ristretto” pod. Your Cuba MIA is close but still to bitter and biting. I will keep trying, but you also don’t sell a sample pack so I can try different ones without buying 5 boxes.”

“At our house, Organic Stout and Notte Forte are our new morning go-to's. Loving the consistent quality in combination with compostable pods. I'd love it if there was a way to identify the the coffee in each pod after I've taken them out of the box and dumped them in my coffee pod canister... but that's a nit. The coffee is great!”

“I purchased this brand because it is compostable but I was unaware that in order to decompose you must have an at home composter ( around 200$) unless your community composts. It can't be done at home without that. This would use electricity. The coffee itself tastes good.”

Carol, Thank you again for your feedback and we’re really glad you enjoyed the coffee. There may be a small misunderstanding about composting. Our capsules are home compostable, which means they do not require a $200 electric countertop composter. In fact, electric kitchen composters are designed mainly for food scraps and typically do not break down compostable packaging properly. If you don’t already have a compost setup, you don’t need anything expensive. Many people get started with something as simple as a 27-gallon storage tote (like the black and yellow bin from Home Depot). Add food scraps, yard waste, and the used capsules, mix occasionally, and let nature do the rest. If you’d like to see how simple backyard composting can be, here’s a short video: “5 Minute Compost Bin – Composting for Beginners” https://youtu.be/B43nL_xGs5Q Under normal backyard composting conditions, the capsules will break down over time, typically within about 26 weeks. If your local curbside program accepts certified compostable packaging, that works too. “My search for a continuous supply of freshly roasted coffee led me to purchase the Cubean coffee roaster. Browsing through YouTube watching coffee Roasting videos I came across videos for Skywalker. The big brother of Cubean. Low n behold a video of the Cubean appeared and I knew it was the one. Artisan is a US based supplier with the best price & reputation. I placed my order with them. They were prompt in answering my questions and the roaster arrived 8 days later. The Cubean is a nice little home roaster. Especially for a beginner. It has 9 preprogrammed roast profiles. It’s small enough to fit in my kitchen. I love the fan filter That sits over the exhaust. It totally suppresses any smoke. I’ve done 3 roasts and I have not noticed any smoke at all. One of the roasts being a full city +. It roasts half a pound at a time, which is perfect for me. The cooling fan works well too. It will also allow me to grow to the point where I will be able to manually roast if I desire to develop that skill. Oh, the chaff collector is great. Just let the roaster cool done and shut off before cleaning it out. Very little mess an easy to clean up after a roast. I highly recommend this roaster for your home. And I also highly recommend Artizan.”
