“I've been ordering from Artizan Coffee Co. for several years now and I will stick with them always. I love their coffee pods and the fact that they are compostible as well as organic. I'm now purchasing the newer mushroom blends and always include them in every order.”

“The flavor (Cuba Mia) is a bit thin compared to non-compostable pods I've tried. I've only had 2, so maybe my opinion will change after I've had more.”

“I am really enjoying the Artizan espresso capsules. They work perfectly in my Nespresso machine. They have a variety of coffee to suit everyone's taste, and the fact that the capsules are compostable in my city make this company even more attractive.”

“Evidently there is an older model of a Nespresso Im unfamiliar with. The “customer service” number led me to a lady who said no, that’s why we put everything on the page so you can choose the right pod. NO RETURNS. Never again. So much for me trying to do right by Mother earth. So disappointed.”

Rinda, We are really sorry you had a frustrating experience, that’s never what we want. We do try very hard to make compatibility clear. Our capsules are only for the Original line, not Vertuo, which is why we show machine images and call this out clearly on the product page. That said, we understand it’s confusing if you didn’t know there were two completely different systems to begin with. If you want, send us a quick photo of your machine and we’ll gladly help confirm what you have and see what options might work for you. We truly appreciate that you were trying to make a more sustainable choice, and we don’t want this to be the reason you walk away from that.

“I'm a Nespresso owner, and yes, the pods have to be recycled so I wanted to try this option. The package came quickly and the pods are packed very well, labeled and all of that was great. But I haven't liked the coffee so much. I'm still trying out all of the different ones I chose but right now I would say I wouldn't buy again. But I will be open minded because I love the idea!”

“The flavor is a bit weak. I will use Artizan with our Nespresso. I like the thought of not having the metal and plastics seaping into my body, but am disappointed the flavor is compromised and not robust.”
