“Only bought one type of coffee from Artizan (so far). "Heavenly Project Decaf" (Nespresso pods). Extremely good coffee. Just bought like 6 other types of their coffee. Looking forward to trying these! Already recommended Artizan to at least 5 people.”

“The crema on Artizan's espresso is not nearly as thick or rich as that from Nespresso. In fact, if one dunks a small cookie/biscotti into it, the "crema" actually runs away from the cookie, highlighting the fact that the crema is not an actual crema with its molecules bound together, rather it appears to be just some coloring on top of the coffee. Nor is the flavor as rich as those from Nespresso. But, the Organic pods are half the price, so I suppose there has to be a tradeoff somewhere . . . or does there?”

“The coffee tastes okay however at least every third pod (33%) has a stream of water coming out of the nespresso machine before the coffee begins to flow, thus watering down the drink. I have three different Nespresso Citi machines and this happens on all three.”

“Love the product and the efficiency of shipping. The coffee is great and the main reason I chose the company initially was for the biodegradable pods. Less guilt, great coffee was a pleasant surprise!”

“I love their coffee and Customer Service is great. I am thrilled that they have removed the foil from the capsules. My only negative is that, once you take the pods out of the packaging, you cannot tell what roast it is from the pod itself. I like to keep my pods in a bowl by my Nespresso maker, and it's a bit of a game of chance in the morning because my husband likes a mild blend and I like mine more robust.”

“Love the huge variety of choices (including decaf varieties) and knowing which farmers/coffee plantations I'm supporting with my purchases. And, stating the obvious, having biodegradable pods is huge.”

“After trying alternative pods on Amazon, I was so happy to find Artizan Coffee Company. Other reviews call the coffee weaker than Nespresso. I disagree. These are different roasts and beans and you can discern the differences in the flavor of the beans/roast. I was impressed by the freshness. My pods were roasted at the end of March and delivered to me the first week of April. The flavor is good. I had one dud pod but it worked after I reset it in my machine. I’m really enjoying my coffee and do not have to support Nestle or Starbucks. This is great quality coffee. Like another reviewer stated, it’s a shame they can’t mark the pods so they can be in a case and know what you are picking. Another idea would be to redesign the box to put the flavor/roast on the box top so I can rip it off and put it under a row of pods so I can identify it. This is not a reason not to get this coffee. It’s 100% excellent.”

“Artizan has never let me down! I've been ordering their espresso pods for my Nespresso machine for over a year and they are perfect. They work in the machine great and the taste is awesome! I like Stout the best, very dark and yummy.”
