“I’ve been ordering and drinking Artizan coffee’s for a few Hera now and I have been extremely satisfied with both the product and the company since the very beginning. The coffee is excellent. I switch it up as far as variety goes every now and then and I also have my staples. The professionalism and the attention to my customer needs are always handled. I am a true fan of Artizan Coffee Company.”

“I would like someone to please contact me...as I need to return my coffee purchase for a refund. Sadly, the pods do not work with my Nespresso machine...the plastic pods break and leave leave chards of coffee in the machine...making a terrible mess. jadeschneringer@gmail.com”

“Reason I buy from Artizan is that I use Nespresso and want to purchase regeneratively grown coffee. Artizan comes closest to that. I also like that they are compostable (except for the foil) But there is a lot of room for improvements. 1) Coffee emerges from the pod unevenly, causing a fair amount to gather in the water tray, without a full measure of the coffee. What emerges is uneven, alternately rich and watery 2) No pods optimized for larger "Lungo" coffees, my favorite size 3) Sometimes foil falls off during coffee brewing process, and sometimes pods do not eject, so one needs to pick at them to get them to drop out 4) Pods do not appear to be vacuum sealed, preserving freshness of ground coffee 5) Would love it if environmental standard of coffee could be raised from organic to Rainforest Alliance Certified 6) Extraction of foil from compostable coffee and plastic shell not easy and time consuming 7) In general the good things about compostability seem to be at odds with good things like air tight seal, perception of pod quality level, and easy of use. Nespresso method of recycling might not be as ecologically sound, but it doesn't seem to fight ease of use, airtightness, and ease of use. 8) Coffee taste has not been a differentiating feature 8) You have been making progress with Nespresso like sleeves rather than bags, and compostability of pods. Am hoping as you grow you can invest more in pod quality and coffee sourcing of even more regeneratively grown coffee.”

“Wife is big coffee drinker (loves strong coffee ala Deathwise, etc) and really loved the mellow tummy! She is trying to help an acid issue and this had a surprisingly great taste.”

“I found the coffee itself to be of excellent quality and enjoyed it very much, but for me, the problem lies in the pods. While I was using an Artizan pod this morning, it actually got stick in my Nespresso machine which has never happened to me before with any other pods I have ever used, so I was really frustrated by that. As a result, I'll have to spend some time prying it out of my machine with a butter knife. I guess it's back to the drawing board for the pod construction/design, however, as I mentioned, the coffee itself is really delicious.”

“Doesn’t brew properly and after the first shot all that happens is hot water comes out. When you use an Nespresso capsule you get coffee the entire time. Tastes average as well. I purchased because it’s organic but it’s an inferior coffee”

“The flavor of the coffee is great and I love that their pods are biodegradable and the coffee is organic. The only issue I have is that the pods crack and get stuck in the Nespresso machines (the ones that are said to be compatible), although I can easily remove them after they get stuck. The other issue is that water that should be going into the cup through the machine (with the lohngo button) gets dispensed with the pod into the used pod tray and it easily overflows. A lot of water waste that doesn't happen with Nespresso pods.”
