“I've used a Saddleback leather wallet for the past fifteen years or so and was immensely satisfied. Decided to 'minimize' and chose the Bugs Moran cardholder; couldn't be happier. Gorgeous golden brown leather and sure to last a decade or two.”

“I love this belt. I usually dislike wearing belts because of looks or flimsy construction, but not this one. It’s thick, feels sturdy and expertly made, and looks great. The stitching and finishing is perfect. The product photos, description, and sizing instructions were accurate for me. Customer service was friendly with quick responses. The lead time for my order was correct. So far, they hold up my pants and denim exactly how I want. My favorite details are the teardrop-shaped holes. I’m planning on getting more in other colors and widths, absolutely solid product and service all-around.”

“I purchased a Bucktown belt and a Johnny the Fox wallet. The bucktown belt feels very high quality, and the fit is exactly what I expected. The Johnny the fox wallet has a slightly larger profile and thickness than I anticipated, but also not in a way that I consider an issue. Some buyers might think it slightly on the large side. I don’t recall if there were exact measurements on the website when I purchased the wallet, but I think they should be present and more apparent to prevent sizing regret. Shipping was incredibly fast, I received my purchase within 2 business days of purchase. I’d absolutely buy from Ashland leather again, and I enjoyed supporting a local business as a Chicagoan.”

“Their products are excellent. I have two of their wallets. Just gave one to my son as a gift. My only complaint l, which knocks them down to 4-star is that Customer Service is not reachable by phone. You have to wait 2-4 days for a replay. I just went through that, which resulted in me not getting what I really wanted because it showed as “Sold Out.” The day after I ordered, it was back. I contacted them, and they said “Gee, if you would have only contacted us first.” Since the item I bought was monogrammed, I can’t return it. Nonsense on their process. If you have a business and a website, then have a phone number and a person who answers it. I was ready to order when I ready to order. Will this keep me from buying from them? I don’t know. I measure a company by their customer service. That is why Amazon is great and Jeff Bezos has a $750 million yacht.”

“$2 per coaster with the grab bag coaster deal? Legit a steal. I believe I got a mix of English Tan, bison, and dublin. Got these for myself and for my parents so they can start using quality, leather coasters for their dining room - and avoid scratching the table with their previous plastic coasters! These will last a long time. Leather coasters in general are a game-changer, they're second to none for avoiding scratching furniture, they smell nice, they age well, and people like me can get away with sorta slamming their drinks haha! I would definitely recommend this product and any Ashland leather good for that matter.”

“I was already planning on purchasing a wallet from Ashland and really liked the Fat Herbie design. I signed up for text and e-mail in order to get a discount and was surprised to get an e-mail about a sale on unique short run items. I ended up buying a deer hide Fat Herbie and it is both beautiful and supple. I’ve only had it a short time but I appreciate the thin stack of a large bifold. The only trouble I have is the temptation to buy other nice leather goods.”

“Many other reviews mentioned that they could hardly believe these were B-grade items. In my case, I could see why mine was classified as B-grade, as there was one noticeable indentation on the interior leather and the Horween stamp appeared slightly faint. That said, these are minor cosmetic issues and do not affect functionality. Considering the discounted price, I still think this was a very good purchase and I am happy with it overall. The attached photos were taken immediately after I received and opened the package.”
