I have just queued at the Dundee store. For 1 hour and 20 minutes. To be told when i reached the end of the line, that it was card only payment at the till. I initially went in to buy some plants only to see withered and dying plants still for sale. It wouldn't take much for staff to inform customers about the payment method at the start of the line. When I asked one of the staff if they were expecting a delivery of plants any time soon, i was abruptly told, no idea. (Not the best of service) I think the Manager should over see the the methods on how this store is run. Wont be back any time soon.

Well done Jerrel, for your positive and fun interaction with all the customer's waiting inline to shop at the B&Q Greenwich branch, you made the time pass quicker while managing the queue effectively. Fantastic keep smiling and making people happy.

Im off to Screwfix & Bradfords permanently after this fiasco. What DO they expect to achieve by the queues on line?

How can you be classed as essential. Stop putting the lives of your staff and customers in danger for a bit of cash . Everyone else has to suffer so why should you be any different, wait it out

Checked the B&Q website to see if my local store was open as I needed some critical plumbing equipment. Stated was open so I set off on the 7 mile journey. When I arrived the car park attendant stated that they were only allowing click & collect. Spoke with manager and he wasn’t nice at all. Waited in the online que to make the order for 1 hr to be told they aren’t accepting click and collect!

Waited 5 hrs to get on the website then it blew me out after 20 mins and put me in the queue again. 20 mins would normally be long enough but the website is so slow and keeps telling you there is no signal even though you are sat next to the server and every light is on. Then when you get on again for two light bulbs it says it is home delivery only, what a joke.

Six hours to get on website to check stock. To be told they don't stock the item when I know they do! Tried to use online contact.... doesn't work... Absolute rubbish. Why they closed in the first place (when they clearly didn't have to) then create this farce is beyond me. The management / owners should be ashamed.

Waited 1 hour to get onto web site and then item not available in any store within 50 miles. Only paint. Wasted 1 hour. Why don't allow to look and then wait at checkout. Someone needs to have some logical thought

When B&Q get back to normal will avoid on principal. How idiotic rationing people to look at its web site!

Can’t believe their stores are open already - money over lives. Just think of all the NHS heroes who could die as a result of people shopping in your stores spreading the virus. B&Q make me sick

Unable to browse products on line as you have to join a never ending virtual queue. Stupid idea and not needed.

Avoid click and collect. You wont see your items or your money again and no one will communicate with you.

As a trade card holder and trade UK card holder I have been told that my trade UK Card is not proof of trade point elegibilty , this is after a 3mile drive to clear vital plumbing and gas fittings. Please explain to your staff that a trade UK card is only available to trade professionals, point blank refusal to look for my detail on your trade point system. Norwich boundary road branch.

Placed order online 5/4/2020. Could not call Store to arrange to collect (not answering phone) so order expired. They have taken my Money. I have not had the items. My online account says they have been collected and my money has been taken. I cannot get in contact by phone, they do not reply to email. Terrible service and stolen my money... Do not use....

Very annoyed!! Waited over an hour to get onto the website this morning - I was expecting this, so was prepared for the wait. Hurrah - I finally got onto the website only to get the little orange loading circle. It has now been like this for around 30mins. What is going on?? Why have people queue for a website then not even let them view anything?? I assumed that when I finally got in, I would be able to view products as usual. Totally hacked off with the whole process - it has taken around 2 hours so far and I have achieved absolutely nothing. The service in store is always great but the website is a big let down. I gave one star as there was no option for no stars - very poor show B&Q!!!!

So everyone is moaning about B&Q and getting the click and collects on time! Has anyone thought of the fact that they may only have limited staff in the store and the fact that all these click and collects that are coming in by the thousands have to actually be hand picked by these staff?? If there wasn’t so many people going online to order unnecessary items such as plants and compost then maybe the people who really need there items that are ESSENTIAL wouldn’t have to wait so long! Maybe just give it a thought that while your all sitting at home these guys are having to work extremely hard to try and fulfill orders so you can sit in your gardens in the sun and plant your flowers! Rant over
