Well .....so unhappy with B&Q. Placed my order in store on 29th Feb for £500 of kitchen doors and cabinets and was given a delivery date of 9th April. Then received email on 3rd April telling me delivery would be delayed and they would email me with a new delivery date. And as of today 2nd May .... they haven't..... theres no way to contact them as customer services are not available ...and the response to the online form is a generic utterly useless message. Needless to say I am one hell of an unhappy customer!!!!!!! And they have got my money!!!!

The staff are working so hard to basically provide non essential items to people who are expecting a five star service when in reality any idiot knows the system in place simply was not designed for an event like this and inevitably can't cope. There is no genuine surprise there! It's the hard working, exhausted and over worked staff of the ground copping it from all directions putting their very lives at risk so you can buy a few non essential plants only to come here to mean about about it all! Stop shopping for things you don't actually need and then maybe they could provide the essentials to those who really need them. Good god get over yourselves and give them a chance to get back on track.

I ordered two doors about a week ago received standard email to say I would be contacted in a couple of days. No phone calls or contact and It said on the website delivery would be within 4 days.!!!! Have twice made comments on there query form but still nothing ,they don't even have the courtesy to inform you that there be a delay ,just no response.very disappointed. I can't even cancel and get a refund .

In this pandemic they are offering click and collect but have not thought this process through. They provided me with the incorrect plants and when I tried to call the centre, no answer, call customer service, no answer. Emailed customer service, no reply, contact form on their website, reply after 10 days saying I will have to wait until the stores reopen. These are plants, that I have no knowledge about and have to try and keep them alive until I can go back to a store to exchange. Then via social media contact, told me could help as the order was in my partners name. If you can’t provide customer service for when you have made an error, should not be open!

They’ve never been great, staff are always unhelpful and rude. Since this lock down it’s got even worse. Is being stupid a massive factor when selecting staff???

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered over £110 worth of wood from Blackburn B&Q on 13th April took my money straight away as click and collect. Waited over 3 weeks to get a message to say my order was ready to collect...... 15 minutes after my email to say my order was ready to collect another email came saying thank you for collecting your order !!!! REALLY !!! ON arrival at the store I gave my order number and was asked if I had collected my order......er no that's why I am here now to collect it. So off the sales man went for my order in store 20 minutes later came out with 3 pieces of wood where's the rest of the order? Plus the wood he brought out was not in good condition, said the other wood was out of stock, I asked for a refund but was NOT leaving the store until I had confirmation of my refund after all they could turn around and say I had collected it (so please beware of the 2nd email) I'm still waiting for my refund not good enough you should be giving us the interest you are making on customers money !!!!

After just reading a nurse's comment on hull live I feel I must totally disagree, she visited the store at ferry lane hull & left without purchasing her paint brush as people where coughing & said to many people together down one isle, I visited the store on the Tuesday & the corona virus precautions in place were absolutely fine, not many people allowed in plenty of staff & security making sure people kept social distancing also she stated was a free for all once inside, don't think so on my visit staff at the end of isle making sure distancing rules where obeyed, very organised I thought & customers very considerate to each other's space!! Stop complaining if your that concerned & nit picking stay at home for the sake of a paint brush!!!! Well done b&q for all your safety measures & control on corona virus on visiting your store happy to see you open again, keep up the excellent work!!! Thankyou

Canterbury Store Very impressed with the trouble they had taken to limit virus spread. Left my wallet there and within minutes they had found my mobile phone number by good detection and rung it. When I went back to the store to collect it the trouble they had taken was apparent. All staff involved were caring and so pleasant. Utmost praise !

Well heres another bad reveiw to add to the long list B&Q have, i placed my order for paint on the 24th April and was given the 29th as the day it would be delivered ,needless to say it has not been delivered ,i stayed in for the whole day waiting instead of taking my dog for a walk which with things the way they are at the moment i look forward to,i had done all the prep ready to paint all to no avail not a text or email to say it was not coming but they took the £36 out of my account as soon as the order went through,my daughter ordered plants for collection 2 weeks ago and still not heard anything theres no live chat which most places have when you order from them and the form you are given to complain online is a complete waste of time ,i will not be buying anything from them again they are completely useless .

B&q Southend on sea - Coronavirus period For the uninitiated, you queue outside as with other shops. Keep 2 m distance in store, with some aisles closed off. Only one way to check outs. Place your goods on floor in front of till that is available, then step back to the yellow line. If you have trolley, place trolley in front of til. Wait for tiller to scan items. Then step forward to pay contactless with card. Don’t know if there is limit to card payment, as I only bought a few inexpensive essentials.

Whilst waiting for an on-line order during lockdown the Stockport Store announced it would be reopening. I was able to call in at the store and pick up the items. The store colleagues Barbara and Charlie went that extra mile during a very very busy time to help me to sort out the credit note for the money I had previously paid, this action made me feel like a valued customer. Hats off to them both.

A cynical and insensitive attempt (unethical and possibly illegal - please note trading standards) to create/increase cashflow and profit at the expense of honest and hard working businesses and members of the public. I am still awaiting two tradepoint orders placed over 3 weeks ago - with little or no communication and no mechanism to contact them - even their weak and impersonal webform 'submit' button seems permanently greyed out. Whilst I appreciate the current situation is very disruptive - not least to my own business and livelihood ... I have not received any confirmation nor reassurance that my PAID orders are being dealt with. If this organisation are unable to honour online orders (both click & collect and home delivery), then they should not be offering such a service by taking payments up front with no transparency nor communication - this is entirely within their control and is not a result of the current situation - it is clearly an exploitation of such. They must firmly believe (or hope) that their (former) customer base are a bunch of uneducated naive drongos. B&Q will be remembered and judged on their dereliction of current customer service, total disregard of business/individual financial insecurity and their cashflow greed - by many (former) customers for many years to come ... You reap what you sow!

When I say I regularly use BnQ Chesterfield, I am seriously understating. Never had any quibbles but since the Lockdown and reopening I can’t believe how much I’ve missed the place and the staff are professional and I feel so safe, they are also polite, I informed and working brilliantly as a team, a big mention to the team outside keeping the queue amused and informed and those on the tills doing a very difficult mundane job in a manner that makes you feel you’re not just a number

Basically what almost everyone else has said. Click & Collect is a disaster. B&Q will take your money and then ignore you.
