Logged on at 5.30 am this morning, queue confirmed waiting time was 26 mins, 15 minutes later it had gone up to more than an hour. I gave their rating one star, its not worthy of one star. What are the owners of b&q thinking about, who designed this site? This system of queuing must the worst in the world complete joke

I came in b&q today and it’s most definitely the safest shop I’ve been in . Well done b&q Wednesbury .

So just received email stating local store reopening on Thursday. No mention of for essential items only so must assume for all general stock. So how many people will now break the stay at home advice ? Shame on you B and Q profit before respect for staff and those KEY workers who put their lives at risk for us all.

Could understand the wait to get on site then ordered materials and all in stock,paid and told 3 days before items are ready . Again fine these are exceptional times. Then 5 days later you bother to finally email me to tell me you dont have any of the 16 items I have paid for and now await your delay in repaying me. Go to screwfix brilliant

What a joke waited 40mins online got through click and collect told could be up to 4days just over a week and still waiting for them to call to collect nothing can’t even phone to ask what is going on I’ve ordered from other company and collected same day or next day so why can’t B&Q do the same yet order form curry’s was delivered on Tuesday

Queued for more than an hour online, told some products out of stock, full amount taken by paypal anyway. Waited to be told order was ready but on day 6 I had an e-mail saying your order has been cancelled as requested. I hadn't cancelled my order!! Money was refunded. Waste of time.

Ive just read some of these reviews that mention on line queuing. What ARE they trying to do here? so I thought I would check it out myself - sure enough I was in a queue with a wait time of 'over an hour' if they want to loose the few customers they have left, they couldnt be doing a better job (most unlike B&Q lately, they usually mess things up big style).

Waited 4 days from date of order only to be told it would be a further 5 days before the TEam would be able to pick my order. - requested refund. attempted to reorder through my local branch. after a 50 minute wait selected the products required - at the checkout was told that items were out of stock at my local branch, then was kicked out of the website, which gladly told me that i had a further hours wait to get back on the website. I will not use B&Q Again. Completely Garbage.

Online queuing.........Ridiculous. Queuing outside store to make sure no more shoppers 'then is safe' can enter at any one time is fine and understandable. Online queuing...Totally over the top... Ebay and Amazon have miles more foot traffic per hour...and do NOT have queuing systems. When you do get into the BQ site. It is accept our cookies or your not coming in!!! If you want people to buy elsewhere...JUST SAY SO.

Placed an order 4 days ago and still sat waiting for the email to say it’s ready to collect - went to the store to explain I had no running water at all only to be told nothing they could do and I had to wait for the email? Went so Screwfix picked it up within minutes of ordering but no way to cancel my order? Appalling service! Come on B&Q sort it out or you will loose customers as you own Screwfix then you would think the model would be the same ??

I ordered compost after waiting an hour on your website to be told non available what a waste of time I tried again and ordered a different compost and you took my money after a week on click 0an collect you email and cancel order and I have to wait a week for a refund. Disgusting way to treat customers will take my custom elsewhere bnq you need to sort yourself out.

after a frustrating 75 mins ordering items and being told it was only available for delivery only (which was fine) went to pay and told they could not deliver and then the site crashed!!! took the advice below from another reviewer and ordered items from Screwfix instead. Took literally 5 mins and being delivered within 2 working days.. thankyou will use screwfix from now on

I have desperate need to repair a roof and know my local store has the items I need. Waited 65 mins to get online to click and collect as we have available transport. Allowed me to put into basket then said click and collect option not available. Deliver was free so decided to go with this. Took all my details then said deliver not available....AHHHHH.....WHAT A WASTE OF TIME

Sadly after what i believe to be great customer service normally i can't get a reply to my o line form i have completed twice now. I have paid for goods& delivery.I was text to say the delivery would be delivered Easter Sunday A.M which i thought was strange. No delivery yet 9 days later no reply & nowhere to go.I,m sure things will be resolved soon.

Terrible website, no confirmation of order but money taken from my account. Unable to speak to anyone, just directed to the website to complete a form that won't submit. Really annoying after waiting in a queue for an hour, now I don't want my order - just a refund!!

Awful website design at these times, if I was in charge I'd fire the imbeciles running your website. WAIT in the queue for over a hour to then spend a hour going through what can't be delivered which isn't automatically shown. Silly yes as it only involves a simple coding, Anyway after about 2 hours the website crashes and sends me back to waiting in the queue for 40mins without completing my order... Thanks for wasting my time you utter c***s, I'm purchasing of your competitors now. Yours sincerely a potential customer.

Ok, we are going through a hellish time at the moment and online shopping is the only way to order products. So waited in my online queue, got in after 30 minutes, that's fine. Now not really knowing what are essential items and the website indicates nothing. So I proceed to order my items, paint, paintbrushes, wd40, Lawn seed, vegetable seeds and a few other items, basically things that will keep people in lockdown sane by being able to do jobs around the home and I get to checkout and it tells me these items are not available for click and collect and I can save them for a later date. Ok, so I get that these are not essential items according to B&Q, but why let people search, add to basket and then blow you out at check out. A complete waiste of time. Why not simply get the B&Q website guys to only show the essential items. B&Q's website has always be rubbish even before the current situations. JUST TOTALLY RUBBISH. And it's worth mentioning that some of the items that are not available for click and collect are available for click and collect and are cheaper on the Screwfix ordering app...B&Q and Screwfix are owned by the same parent company !!!!!!!!!

No contact for over a week regarding my order, no reply to emails or facebook messages, website contact page doesn't work. Shocking customer service, they say 3 days wait but actually it is 4 times that time. They are still taking orders and taking peoples money. They have furloughed many workers when they have record high sales so it seems they are even defrauding the government. Very poor example from a major company. I will never use them ever again
