“I ordered cake for my grandsons first birthday. The cake was delivered and was left on its side by the courier (not the companyās fault) when the cake was unboxed it had slid off its base. Due to time restraints we had the cake on the Sunday. The cake I thought was small and was quite dry with very little buttercream. I was really disappointed and my guests were shocked that it was Ā£45.
I emailed the company who said they would replace the cake but as I didnāt need another cake I asked for a monetary refund. Iāve heard nothing since!”

“I ordered a cake from BakerDays about 3 weeks in advance. After placing my order, I came across some of the negative reviews and started to worry a bit.. but I decided to have faith and see how it went.
The delivery arrived right on time at 10am (Iād paid for delivery before 1:30pm), and I also ordered two helium balloons. When I opened the box, I was actually surprised.. everything looked great! The cake looked amazing and was beautifully presented. The only disappointment was the balloons, which were completely different designs from what Iād ordered. I was sticking to a colour scheme for a party, so that was a bit of a letdown. I contacted customer service and spoke with Armin by email, he was polite and helpful, and assured me Iāll receive a refund for both balloons. The only thing I found a little unreasonable was the 20ā30 day refund window, but weāll see how that goes???
Now, back to the cake, it was lovely! Iād seen a few people say theirs were dry, but that wasnāt the case for us at all. It was fresh, soft, and really moist (sorry, I know some people hate that word lol) I ordered the chocolate flavour, and while it couldāve had a bit more of a cocoa kick, it was still very tasty and everyone enjoyed it.
Overall, Iām pleasantly surprised and happy with the cake, just wish the balloons had matched the design I chose! š”

“I've been trying to contact this company for a week about changing a delivery date for a birthday cake but have had no answer or reply after leaving messages with my order ID and co tact info. I keep calling and calling and i just get through to the answering machine which is no help when there emails etc say "for urgent enquiries please call us". I wont be using them again because of this. Just buy local if you can.”

“I ordered a 1st Birthday cake for my Grandson, I ordered it to be delivered on the 6th October for his Birthday on the 7th, I was not happy when it was delivered on the 4th or that the delivery driver tipped the box on one arm, his excuse after I told him it contained a cake was that he did not usually do the run he was doing. On opening the cake on the 7th October the cake had slipped of the cake board, luckily I managed to push it back on without damaging it, after all that the cake was perfectly decorated, tasted wonderful and everyone oved it, the cuddly toy was given a lot of cuddles by the Birthday baby boy.”

“Arrived on time, sponge was very good, finish was not as expected. Top and picture fine but the bottom finish was not as expected. In picture your finished off all around the plate but it was not. Apart from that the cake was very good.”
