I placed my order 5/29/18. They said it was picked up 6/8/18. I could never get any shipping info from Shelba Johnson Trucking. After calling them 2x we finally got a delivery date.6/21/18. I'm thrilled to say the stools came today. The driver was surprised when I told him I placed the order 5/29. He said he makes 2 runs a week past here. So don't believe the shipping info Bar Stool shipping site. The stools were worth the wait. I love them. I won't ever order from the Bar Stool Company again tho. It took me 2 days to reach Bar Stool. Then was told they would check & get right back to me. They never did.

Items took forever to ship. Was notified that they were on back order, but after did not ship after the time period that was given in that email. I had to call twice to check on status. Never received a phone call back, but item quickly shipped the next day. Chairs are of very low quality. Seat and chair back do not pull close enough together when bolt is tightened, so you can not lean back at all while sitting, or it bends, creating a bind. Would return, but likely not worth the cost of shipping. Would not buy from here again.

Stools are great but customer service is awful. A long delay between placing my order and receipt of stools prompted me to call 4 times. Each time, I was told that they needed to research and call me back, but they never did.

Ordered 4 stools and waited almost 2 months because on back order. When I received the stools they were not the same color wood.

We are expecting another new batch this February. We can try to wait and see if the new products have the same finish. Or we can offer you a refund for two of the stools. I ordered a set of bar stools through the website during a promotional sale. After almost 3 weeks of nothing, I got an email that they were on back order and expected to be back in stock on a certain date. The website offered me expedited shipping at no charge. Would of been more acceptable if I wasn't already receiving the order with free shipping from the promotion. A few days went by after the restock date went by and heard nothing about the shipment. I followed up via email to the customer service rep that had contacted me and got no work back. A few days later I suddenly got a confirmation email that the order had shipped. The stools are good quality, however its unfortunate that the company could not compensate more than just offering expedited shipping. Thankfully they came in time for the holidays as they were a gift for someone, just took a month to get them.

Order chairs on October 10/6 and they were supposed to be delivered in a week. The items ended up being on back order (not noted on their website when I placed the order), I was notified on 10/10 the items would be back in stock on 10/24 and asked if I still wanted to proceed with the order and I said yes. They offered to expedite shipping at no charge and I would receive them in 1-2 business days once they came back in stock. 11/2 comes around, and I was following up for over a week and kept getting the same story they were shipping later in the week. I needed the chairs for a dinner party and had no other option at this point since I was told they would be to me by 10/26. Finally on Friday 11/3, I get an email saying they were shipped, but for ground delivery and wouldn't be to me until Monday, the day after the dinner party. Huge disappointment. This company doesn't have a handle on inventory or tracking of items. I planned a month ahead and still didn't get what I needed in time.

Recieved an order confirmation on 10-03-2017, checked with FedEx on 10-10, chair has not been released for shipment yet. ?????

I ordered a product in June and was told it was backordered till July. After I didn't receive it, I called, sent emails and did live chat. I was given a new August ship date. Once again no chairs so I did all of the above again. Finally my chairs arrived in september. I think saw on the website the had lowered the price of said chairs and didn't even offer to credit me the difference:(

My order took several days to ship. When I called and placed my order, the young lady on the phone assured me my order would ship in 1-2 days. Over a week to get my order... disappointed...

Same as all the other reviews …. Wish I’d read this before ordering. Paid over Β£500 for 5 bar stools on pre order for end July. Chased and told end of August, now told Mid-Dec. Not answering phone or responding to emails so will have no choice but to do a charge back through credit card

On the day my order was due to arrive, phone call to say not in stock of which asked for a refund. 10 days later, still nothing and spoke to them saying can take up to 30 days. Joke of a 'company'.

God! Where to begin?! I made my order in July...enquired about it’s whereabouts in August...and when I EVENTUALLY got through to speak to someone, I was informed delivery would be January 2022! So, obviously, this was not an option for me, and I requested a refund...which I was informed would take 15 working days! All sorted now though...via my credit card company. End of. πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

A sham. Bar Stool Co. is now Houzz. They took ~320usd from me and never sent my zen casa Leiden chair. Then they shut down the website and started another business identity / entity.

I also ordered barstools and when they came, they were cheap looking but expensive to buy. I called and emailed for several weeks and finally got a response and ups labels from them. I sent them back and weeks later no refund. Finally received an email saying they do not give refunds????? I guess they just take your money!! bad bad bad company which i see their website no longer up so obviously taking advantage of people is their scam.

Item on back order for over six months. My 300+ USD gone, no PayPal protection after a few months, and no zen casa chair. Now Barstoolco has disappeared with no one responding to my requests. Very bad.

I noticed a charge on my credit card from Bar Stool Company. I have never ordered anything from them, called them multiple times (voice recording only) emailed their site multiple times, then contacted my bank who looked into this and agreed it was a fraudulent charge. Interesting that this company never once returned my calls, my emails or notices from the bank! Making a police report is next.
