However I would have liked a bit more understanding from admin when it came to billing, it takes time for a death certificate and estate to be administered, a lot more understanding and compassion are needed instead of appearing to be money hungry. “I am 75 and have been through a number of funerals where the deceased had a social standing which required a funeral with all the trimmings.
In this case the deceased was my step son and we thought a funeral was not appropriate. We live in NSW and he lived in Queensland with a good circle of friends but no other immediate family than ourselves. Someone suggested Bare who we approached and agreed on terms. It was exactly what we wanted - a no frills arrangement but with a lot of care, patience and empathy shown by Bare staff.
We didnt want a Solicitor involved and this made it hard for us to work through the various stages, but Bear helped us all the way.
