“I ordered a Christmas hamper with Ciseáin Go Leor on 29 November, for delivery to Rome. I paid them €113.41 for the hamper and €59.99 for “shipping and handling”. They gave a delivery date of 3 December. On 15 December, the hamper had not arrived so I emailed them an enquiry. They did not answer. On 23 December, the hamper still had not arrived, so I emailed them again. This time, they asked me to verify the address, which I had given correctly. They said the hamper had been dispatched on 7 December (four days after it was supposed to have arrived). On 5 January, the hamper still had not arrived, so I emailed them again. They said the non-delivery was not their fault, but a delivery issue with the delivery agency they engaged. They suggested that my friend in Rome contact the delivery agency in Rome to sort it out. He did, and when the hamper finally arrived, on 10 January, he discovered that it appears the address label had been printed wrongly, despite me providing the correct address. Under consumer law my contract is with Ciseáin Go Leor Limited as the supplier of the service. Despite this, they have refused to refund even the “shipping and handling”.”

“Very poor delivery service. Hamper arrived 2 weeks late when the person was recovered and out of hospital. After several calls to sort it out nothing was sorted so I just had to wait. There was no apology given until I asked for a refund for the delivery amd I got a ridiculous response and no recourse. I will not be ordering again from them. Sort out your after sales service.”

“Bought 3 Christmas hampers as gifts to clients ,, 1 out of the 3 went missing , have tried several times to contact Ciseain Go Leor ,, all in vain ,, still no contact,, no answer on phone , Dpd , the delivery company did get back to me and were somewhat helpful but I have to get back to them now the 3rd time to try and resolve this ,, Ciseain Go Leor customer service is non existent”

“Very happy with product, choice and service. Timely response to my inquiries. Was uncertain and unclear about when my order would be shipped and delivered. This caused anxiety as I feared my Xmas gift delivery would not be timely. This lack of clarity was due to my having to choose an advanced delivery date (in following week as this was earliest option) despite my being informed via chat that delivery would be sooner. It turned out delivery was earlier - as per chat. If it hasn’t been then I Xmas gift wouldn’t have been delivered when desired, and would not have got to my client until after holidays - which would have been a disaster. So all woke out great in the end - but would suggest better clarity on delivery next time. Many thanks, Ken”

“Couldn’t be more happy with these guys. Package was mistakenly delivered to the wrong address by the courier and they replaced it once they confirmed the courier was in error and upgraded it. A lot of stress relieved and superior Customer services. Would use them again.”
